Amazing location
8.0 / 10.0
it was clean
the tv in the first room we stayed at the first night didn’t work.
then, the second night in a different room we stayed in, the AC was flowing in the entire room so it was really hot
and my baby and i were extremely hot and sweaty and it made it uncomfortable

helpful staff. literally the best location. massive bed. good pillows. wifi was decent.
would stay here again.
they organised our taxi to airport no problem.
didn’t use the restaurant, so can’t comment.
could be a little noisy outside the room, but only til 10pm. it was fine.
8.0 / 10.0
The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating to our every need, rooms were clean, the location was perfect walking distance to sites & restaurants, and the hotel courtyards were beautiful.
The hotel room we had worked out fine, but the lighting could be better.

wonderful 19th century boutique hotel…great location, large rooms and helpful staff.
Don’t take room 106.

Our room did not have any windows to look outside...?

location
water issues in the hotel, they closed the rooftop terrace, there is no lounge or space to relaxe, the furniture in the public spaces could be updated, the check-in time is late (3 pm) and they gave us the keys after the hour.

Beautiful property with a great location.
The property was a bit noisy.
10.0 / 10.0
The location is perfect! Close to all amenities and everything is walkable in Oaxaca. The room was beautiful and spacious and the AC worked perfectly. The staff were always so helpful and available to help out. Best place to get a restful sleep after exploring.
The hot water took a while to start in the showers but it was okay.

Nice staffs, great location, good food
the bathroom equipment was a little bit run down, but hotel quickly replaced shower head as we requested, thank you!
5.0 / 10.0
The property's location is its only advantage. It is centrally located and walkable to almost all interesting areas of Oaxaca city.
The property is dated, and has not been maintained well. The furnishings in the bathroom and the room are old. The room was not as advertised. It had no private patio and was much smaller than 25 sqm that the booking platform showed.
The room also felt very stuffy since the windows are small, and do not open to the outside but to the inner courtyard. (Beware before booking as there are rooms without windows as well). The staff in the evening when we arrived weren't very welcoming, although the day staff was nice. Two out of three days that we stayed, there was loud live music until very late that we could hear in our rooms and made resting/sleeping difficult.

The location was perfect. The old-world charm of the building was amazing. They cleaned the plants, doors, and railings while we were there.
The bathroom in the KING bedroom was way too small. The water from the shower went everywhere. We had to place towels on the floor (since there wasn't a door in the shower) to keep the water at bay. The double bed rooms had a much better bathroom setup. The pillows were awful. No options for additional pillows.

beautiful and good location
No windows in the bedroom, which was a little dark. The staff was not always present

comfortable, amazing amenities and super friendly staff

The staff are very kind. When I got sick they helped me find a doctor. They helped us with everything we needed. also, the room is of decent size, clean and the AC and Wi-Fi work well
On some days the cleaning ladies didn’t refill our soaps and towels and we had to ask for this

The location, it's close to markets.
Room way too small. No fridge in room

Hotel was very charming, clean and super easy check in. Staff was extremely responsive and provided valet parking for our rental car as well as ordered a taxi for us to the airport. Location was phenomenal, right in the city center, yet still quiet. A lovely end to our amazing trip in Oaxaca!
Nothing! (maybe little less expensive).

Nice property. Staff was helpful. Staff has limited English speaking, but still better than my Spanish.
8.0 / 10.0
The staff was great and the lobby and rooms were very clean and peaceful. The location is great right in the middle of the historic area.
I wish the rooms had a mini-fridge. The mattress was more on the firm side.
6.0 / 10.0
The location is excellent and the staff are super friendly. It was generally clean although I did find a couple squished mosquitos in the bathroom.
It's a historic hotel but the rooms are dark and cave like. No natural light and pretty harsh florescent bulbs. The windows to the courtyard have curtains which can't be moved due to privacy. Overall for me the room needs an update. Paint on the walls has black scuff marks everywhere. Also barking dogs on the roof all night plus a loud rattling noise in the bathroom meant you need ear plugs for a good night's sleep. To me, there are way better options in Oaxaca.
