About this villa rental
Guests under 25 years old are not allowed.
One of the best places to enjoy a well-deserved holiday is, without a doubt, Mallorca. This island bathed by the Mediterranean Sea with its beaches and coves of crystalline waters, landscapes, vegetation and villages, ideal for disconnecting from the world and routine. One of them is the Port of Sóller.
Have you ever dreamt of waking up in a holiday home on the seafront, taking a diving course in crystal clear waters or hiking in the famous Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range? Now you can live an unbeatable holiday in Sa Caleta. What makes this house the best option to enjoy the summer?
Sa Caleta was built according to the canons of the sixties by a Mallorcan family who combined functionality and spaciousness. Nowadays, the different rooms have been refurbished, adapting them so that the person who chooses Sa Caleta enjoys a unique and attractive experience.
The house has five bedrooms, two of them with private terraces from where you can enjoy privileged views: the particular Port of Sóller with its three lighthouses, its mountains and nature, the sailing boats moored in the bay, the swallows coming and going to Sa Calobra or Cala Tuent, the docks with its Yacht Club and its fishermen's market, where you can experience first hand how the boats arrive with their catch if you come here in the middle of the afternoon.
Sa Caleta has comforts and details to make you feel at ease and at home: four renovated bathrooms (one with a bathtub) and a spacious, modern and functional kitchen, equipped with the necessary electrical appliances to allow you to cook whatever you want. It has a large area where you can wash, hang clothes and iron, if you wish.
Sa Caleta offers the possibility, if you are a lover of grilled meat or vegetables, to cook outdoors with your family or friends on the barbecue. The holiday home has at your disposal five different areas to enjoy your stay in Puerto de Sóller: a large interior living room with large windows overlooking the Port; an office dining room, functional due to its proximity to the kitchen; an outdoor dining room under the porch where you can enjoy a barbecue; a rear outdoor area for relaxing hours with views of the mountains and the beautiful olive trees in the garden and a large front terrace with spectacular views of Puerto de Sóller where you can sunbathe, dine al fresco or have an aperitif while enjoying the sunset. The house is in front of the beach which can be reached just by crossing the pedestrian promenade, allowing you to watch the little ones playing or swimming. For an easy, safe and comfortable stay, two covered parking spaces are available for guests.
Finally, you will be able to see the exclusive tram that passes in front of the house and makes the journey to the village of Sóller. In this beautiful and traditional town you can enjoy an aperitif or dinner in the square, delighting in the façade of the Church of San Bartomeu, the work of a disciple of Gaudí, architect of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Don't miss the opportunity to discover and stroll along the atmospheric shopping street of Sa Lluna, where you can find all the most typical gastronomic products of Sóller and Mallorca. For all lovers of Modernism, we recommend a visit to the Can Prunera Museum, a Modernist style house from the beginning of the 20th century.
You can also have a drink in any of the bars that have been set up in different streets respecting the initial idea of the owners, Sollerics who emigrated and wanted to return to their homeland to retire. They brought with them the trends and tastes of the time, which they combined with local materials to build their residences that will surprise you on your strolls. Visiting the train station you can appreciate the enterprising spirit of its inhabitants who made it possible to facilitate communication with the capital, made difficult by being surrounded by the high mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana.
Leaving the village of Sóller and its port, you can head for Palma, the capital, by train or by car through the tunnel. You will discover the bustle of its shops, its cultural heritage and the terraces of its bars where you can sit and relax. You can also make the journey along the north coast of the island passing through charming towns such as Deià, Sa Foradada, Valldemossa, Banyalbufar or Andratx, enjoying wonderful views of the Mediterranean, mountain villages and sunsets. Another option is to do the route through the centre of the island, passing through Escorca, the Monastery of the Virgin of Lluc, Inca, arriving at Manacor, the birthplace of tennis player Rafa Nadal.

Very spacious and comfortable family home in a superb location right on the bay at port soller. The street that runs in between the villa and the beach is pedestrian only apart from the tram so it felt like we were the front line.
Everything worked well and we had a wonderful time.

The House made a perfect frame for our family vacation. Everybody could find a place to relaxe and enjoy the seaview. We loved the style, dirfferent terrasses, the nearby Beach and local cafés. And the huge outdoor location where we all could sit together.
We where 3 couples and one small child. Take notices of that there id not aircondition in every room - Which could be nice when it very hot outside.
A place we we love to come and stay again :-)

The villa is great for families. Beautiful inside and out. Well equipped and maintained. Great location.
The main disappointment was only two of the five bedrooms have air conditioning and in 30c the other bedrooms were very stuffy.
The 4th bathroom is outdoors.

About the House: Where to start.... It looks really beautiful in the photos, and it is definitely as lovely as that, but there's at least for us a really magical vibe that photos just can't capture. Ok ok, about the house... There are 5 dining tables. You might think you don't need that many, but actually we used them all. A huge outdoor table at the back next to an open fire bbq grill so huge you can't pass the salt across it, it's not in the pictures, but it was sooooo nice having food cooked over an open fire, a cosy outdoor table at the back, a really lovely outdoor table on the front patio with views to die for, and two really nice dining areas inside. The house is HUGE. There are two staircases. That's how big it is. Our kids LOVED it. The bedrooms are cosy, everything is well-equipped and clean, there's a big utility area with washing machine and drying line out on the back patio. We loved that it felt like a family home. There is a piano/library room with a cabinet of vintage cameras. And another huge lounge with a comfy sofa for about 100 people to sit on ok ok not 100 but definitely 12 comfortably, we were four adults and 2 kids and everyone could lie down on the sofas at the same time. The view from the lounge/TV room is magical. The front bedrooms in the upstairs have huge patios overlooking the ocean with lovely loungers and the main patio is probably as big as the house itself. We LOVED sitting out there in the afternoon and evening sun watching the trams go past and looking out over the ocean. We swam daily, walking from the house in our swimsuits, towels, bare feet. We went scuba diving with Octopus Diving, which was awesome. Saw loads of Barracuda, an Octopus, and swam through a cave. It's about a 10-minute boat trip out of the cove to really beautiful dive spots. Location: awesome. We walked everywhere, you're just so close. Lovely restaurants, close to two convenience stores, and the tram is right nearby to take a trip into Soller. We took the tram one way, and a taxi back cheaper and quicker, obviously not as much of an experience though!. Want to know about some negatives? There are really only two: mosquitos which was easily solved, although we didn't realise until day 2 when the kids and been well and truly bitten we've left repellent for the next guests!! and a bit of a noise coming from the water pump / well so if you're a light sleeper that will probably bother you

Very beautiful house, with an awesome location on the promenade in Port de Sollèr. We had some concerns about the lack of a pool, but we didn’t need it. there is less than 50 meters to the beach and the ocean. We were in contact with the host a few times, they were very professional and were replying almost instant whenever I wrote.

The villa is excellently situated and well equipped for a large group. it is very comfortable with loads of space.
Support is quickly available for any issues.
Secure parking is a real bonus although it is a little way from the Villa
Better instructions on arrival on how to get to the Villa and the parking spot would have been helpful. It was not clear where the parking was and that a remote control was required to gain access
