Mooi verblijf in Phu Quoc op een rustige locatie

Prachtig hotel met schone en ruime kamers. Daarnaast bood het hotel een gratis shuttle service van en naar het vliegveld aan. Heel prettig.

Je hebt wel echt een scooter nodig als je ergens buiten het hotel wilt gaan eten. Gelukkig kun je makkelijk een scooter huren bij het hotel.

こんな場所にびっくりリゾート！

とにかくゆっくりしたければ最高です。スタッフもサービスも最高です。プライベート感、贅沢感を味わいだければおすすめ！車の数も少なくバイクで走っても安全です。無料のシャトルバスが街に走っているのですごく便利。自転車も無料で使えるし子供も安心でした。スタッフの英語は堪能です。人混みから離れてフーコック味わいたければココ！タクシー安いのでどこ行くにも気になりませんでした。

Отличный отель!!! Прекрасные завтраки!!! Очень приветливый, доброжелательный и услужливый персонал!! Ежедневная уборка и замена полотенец! Хороший бассейн с теплой водой, ухоженная территория.

Для некоторых может оказаться сюрпризом наличие гекконов прямо в бунгало.

Petit paradis à Phu Quoc

Nous avons passé une semaine à Kingo Retreat et nous avons ADORÉ notre séjour !!! Ce Resort à taille humaine et très bien entretenu et très joli ! Le jardin est magnifique, la piscine est incroyable, notre grande chambre côté piscine était très confortable ! La literie au top , la grande salle de bains avec douche ET baignoire , serviettes de piscine , fontaine à eau à volonté … Le petit déjeuner est TRÈS TRÈS copieux et délicieux ( produits de très belle qualité au niveau salé que sucré!)Le restaurant est très agréable et joliment aménagé …carte variée et plats copieux ! Et bien sûr tout le staff est d’une extrême gentillesse… Très à l’écoute , toujours un mot gentil , des attentions chaque jour , un grand merci à tous ! Possibilité de louer un scooter par la réception ( nécessaire pour découvrir l’île ) Calme et zenitude ici !Un vrai plaisir !!! Nous reviendrons !!!

Real place if You want relax, retreat.

Very polite staff, real nice place for retreat / relax. Breakfast reach, wide choise of fruits, juices, other. Beds and extra bed comfortable, pillows very good. Hotel territory green with many plants, flouers. Pool - large good, there is possible arrange SPA massages, which is little bit more expensive then outside, but much better. Outside hotel You can get nonproffesional massages in 50 %. Used GYM, small but well equiped. Hotel restaurant serve delishes food, recommend. There is car to bring you free of charge to nearest beach.

Free rental Bikes could be better quality, I was not sure to use....

Eine kleine Wohlfühloase - rundum gut versorgt und super zum Entspannen.

Super freundliches Personal, man fühlt sich fast wie in einer Familie. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein Gedicht und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war total lecker und liebevoll angerichtet. Shuttle Service zum Strand, den man nach wenigen Minuten erreichte, war spitze und problemlos. Der Pool war sehr gepflegt, hatte ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme und es war einfach herrlich dort zu entspannen. Angenehm war auch der kostenlose Fahrradverleih um mal schnell ins nächste Dorf oder zum Supermarkt zu fahren oder auch an Strand.

Der Weg dort hin ist abends etwas dunkel, wenn man auswärts essen gehen wollte. Aber sind zu Fuß 5-10min, also definitiv machbar.

Fantastisch en gastvrij

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame staff. Ze kwamen ons ophalen bij het hotel waar we hiervoor verbleven. En brachten ons de dag van vertrek ook naar de airport. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid voor zo’n relatief kleinschalig hotel. Kamer was ruim, fris en schoon en ontbrak aan niets. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een bungalow waardoor we geen burengeluiden hoorden. Echt een 5-sterren service en gevoel.

The (elevator kind of piano) music the whole day around the pool and restaurant is too loud. My husband went to turn it down a couple of times. We are een elderly couple and we chose the peace and quietness of this hotel, so we were quite disturbed by this music.

Perfect stay with great staff

Beautiful resort with friendly personnel and lovely food! Every morning we enjoyed breakfast before dipping in the nice swimming pool. Excellent resort, easy to rent scooter or borrow a free bike to explore. Also sufficient Grab drivers nearby if you would require a taxi!

Geweldig

De sfeer is heel erg prettig. Wij hebben 8 dagen genoten van dit resort. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk zonder dat het opdringerig overkomt. Daarnaast was het ontbijt elke dag een feest. Daarnaast complimenten voor de schoonmaak die elke dag terwijl wij aan het ontbijt zaten onze kamer schoonmaakten. Alles was echt top! De prijs kwaliteit van dit resort is wat ons betreft ook erg goed. Het is echt een pareltje op het eiland :)

Wij hebben prima kunnen sporten maar de gym zou een kleine renovatie kunnen gebruiken.

One of the loveliest hotel/small resort experiences in my life

Everything! This was the best thing we could’ve hoped for during our NYE holiday on the island. Everything, to the very last detail, was amazing. airport pickup, really nice rooms, complimentary fruits, good breakfast and permanent restaurant, motorbike rental, free transport to the beach, great seimming pool, absolutely lovely and very very helpful staff, free water on the premises, smart TV (with netfix) and I could go on. And a very good price overall.

Amazing natural resort. Service 5 star!

A great place to relax. The lovely resort is located in a tropical forest. You can completely hear the sounds of nature in a pleasant way. The breakfast was really good and the waiter with a great attitude. This is a bargain to experience this place.

Perfect hotel

Staff were super friendly and helpful, always greeted with a smile. If you stay over certain length of time then you get a free pick up and drop off at the airport. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. We are currently travelling and wanted somewhere to chill for a few days and this was definitely the right choice. The pool was quiet most days and very clean. There is also a shuttle that runs to the beach between 7-7. It is a bit out from the centre but wasn’t an issue for us as you can rent scooters from the hotel and taxis aren’t that expensive. Rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. You also get fresh towels if you have the do not disturb sign on your door. Perfect stay and would recommend to anyone.

Nice Resort with natural

Beautiful resort with green space. Everything is so light and quiet. Very good breakfast with many local dishes. Overall it's really nice to be here, totally relaxing

The jewel in the middle of the rainforest. Really amazing

You will be completely surprised with the green space here. The resort is not big but extremely beautiful. Friendly staff and good breakfast. We really had a worthwhile experience.

Amazing little oasis, great rooms and pool to chills out in surrounded by a fantastic garden.

Amazing little oasis for a few nights stay in Phu Quoc, staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating, rooms were lovely and the garden surrounding the pool was absolutely amazing with butterflies, dragonflies darting around.

As we were staying at low season, it was not busy, so the breakfast buffet felt like quite a lot might go to waste. Maybe breakfast to order might be less wasteful during low season?

Wish we could’ve stayed another week, can’t wait to come back.

I cannot say enough positive things about Kingo Retreat Resort. We stayed at Kingo for 8 nights (i wish I could’ve stayed longer). I should preface my entire review by saying that, we had a very unique experience as sometimes we were one of only two rooms booked at the property. We therefore pretty much enjoyed the entire property to ourselves. We were fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with the staff. Diem and Khai were so attentive and gave us the best recommendations. Bao was also incredibly kind and ready to wait on us the minute we arrived to the restaurant. The chef was excellent too. Lots of Happy Hour and discounts for the spa. Everything was lovely!

So any negative points should not discourage anyone from staying, we still managed to make it work! A few things to consider: The location of the resort is a bit remote. The Grab drivers had a little difficulty sometimes finding Kingo, but it honestly wasn’t a big problem and the receptionists will gladly speak to the driver to make sure they arrive. The food prices in the restaurant are more expensive than in town, but you get the convenience of proximity. And the food is really, really delicious. The gym was decent & absolutely better than nothing. It was very clean, with A/C and a very clean washroom. The gym has your basic cardio equipment, a bench, a pull-up bar and one set of adjustable dumbbell weights, so it works if you’re alone or with someone else who isn’t using them.

Comfortable resort close to the beach!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay here and would highly recommend it. Comfortable and modern rooms, lush garden, friendly staff, good restaurant on site, and even the beach at a few mins walking distance was much nicer than we expected from the other reviews (there are quiet spots to be found near the rocks without any rubbish). While we stayed here the resort was quiet as it’s low season from May, which meant we almost had the massive pool all to ourselves!

There was a resort being built next door, which made a bit of noise sometimes when we were out by the pool - but nothing that bothered us too much. This made that the walk to the beach was partly through a construction site as well.
