Stepping into this Hotel was stepping into elegance and class. Friendly staff to welcome us on arrival. Free, on site parking. The front lawn was well maintained with a fabulous swimming pool. The room provided dressing gowns and slippers and a welcome tray of little biscuits. Wifi good and a large spacious bathroom with shower over bath. We recommend this property. This would be a great accommodation for some quality time with your partner. Thank you.
There wasn't a hot water kettle/jug and cups in the room for a hot drink. Although there is a restaurant and bar on site to get a refreshment.

Best stay in Portugal so far on our Camino walk.
Everything spotless and very comfortable.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Delicious restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.
Lovely view of hotel grounds and valley.
Most definitely stay again.

A really friendly traditional hotel right where we needed to stop over. The facilities were great but we had a storm when we arrived so couldn't use the outdoor ones and sadly didn't stay long enough to try the others. The room and ensuite were very large and traditional. Staff were great and the evening meal plus breakfast fantastic. An amazing all inclusive price for such a great hotel.
Nothing really.

Old run down box which needs major renovation. A/C does not work, electric outlets don’t work, cracked tiles in bathroom, no umbrellas at pool against blazing sun, minimal staffing, poor value, expensive for what it is.

The pool, the children’s parks, the location and the breakfast.
Price is high for the season.

Rooms were clean and had a great view.
Staff was super nice and breakfast was good too.
The spa facilities were on point, loved the Turkish bath.
We paid extra for the half-board (dinner) but it was really disappointing. Really small portions and saying in the description "typical menu of Portuguese cuisine" is very misleading to say the least (I'm looking at you "Bacalhau à Brás", my grandmother would be ashamed).
Sometimes the hall music was so loud that we couldn't hear the TV.

good room, clean and modern hotel, pleasant and accommodating staff.
it was off-season but it seemed it was very short on staff only a few people seemed to be on the property. Also there is some connection to non-profit whose goals were not clear to us.

The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming.
They had a large group in for a Christmas function and still went out of their way to accommodate us and our needs.
I have stayed twice at this hotel and it will continue to be my first choice, when visiting Coimbra.
I dont dislike anything about this hotel...only points of feedback is that the car park isnt very big, and it was very busy due a function, but there is alternative parking nearby in this event.
I also wish there were tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.

Beautiful hotel with the added bonus of a brand new spa. We paid for half board which was superb. Every single member of staff went out of their way to talk to us, super friendly team. We will definitely revisit this hotel when we return to the area.
Excellent value, highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast could have a bit more savoury on offer.

Rooms very clean.
Welcome drink.
Restaurant food very nice.
Great size beds, reasonably comfortable but would have preferred a softer mattress.

Childrens facilities were superb and it was lovley to meet ans watch the artist designing and decorating the plates.
Reception phone was not answered on a number of occasions and dinner options were very limited.

it’s a cute authentic hotel in a green area. very comfortable with very hospitable stuff, big green back yard with the pool.
Unexpectedly, tasty, quality food at the resraurant.
Breakfast could be better, better add a few euro to the price.

Beautiful countryside view from our room, spacious bedrooms, great outdoor pool area, very good breakfast, helpful staff. On the last day we had an issue with our car and in less than 30min the hotel receptionist and staff managed to get us help so we could repair the car and proceed with our travel. Many many thanks for such great hospitality! We will definitely come back.

Staff at the front desk were excellent, very helpful and great recommendations

Breakfast was great.
During our stay there was a large group as well as a wedding going on and it was hard to find staff as well as we were unable to be seated in the dinning room for lack of space.

Quiet spot with easy access to Coimbra and the Roman remains of Conimbriga. Sadly the spa facilities were not yet ready but will be a great asset when they are.
More attention could be given to maintenance of facilities in general. the door of our toilet, for instance could not be closed. service was patchy. Some restaurant/bar staff were very inexperienced and sullen. Others excellent.

A stunningly beautiful hotel with excellent views over their property to the hills behind. We were in need of a day off on our Camino, and loved it so much we stayed a second night! Appreciated the extra time to take in Conimbriga. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and the massage was a real treat a week into our journey! Excellent restaurant and the welcome drink was most appreciated!
Unfortunately the pool was under construction, which meant some daytime noise, but this shouldn't last long and would otherwise highly rate this space as a relaxing environment.
