Room: Room is beautiful, cosy, lovely bed. They do have one of the nicest looking room at this cost around the city.
Location: It’s very central, making it easy for you to venture by tuktuk about 8-10 minutes from every key spots of interests you’d like.
Wifi: This is the most serious concern, their Wifi is NOT password-protected. This makes it too easy for all your devices to get hacked by malicious groups externally. I relied on my roaming service throughout 4 days of stay which is very costly. Simply for this reason, I would not stay here again until rectified.
Water: Chilled water bottle must be paid (1.5 USD) but room temperature bottled water is free.
Fridge: It doesn’t work. It’s not cold at all, you put anything in there and it’ll spoil.
Food: Room service food is not good, had super hard rice.
Noise: My room window faces a very busy road and I hear all the horns, cars, loud songs that are played. They’re not overly loud that it becomes disruptive to my sleep but just loud enough that I can hear them through the window and it’s annoying when I want to rest quietly in the mornings or afternoons. Somehow the city seems to sleep after 10pm and so I’ve never been awoken by the same horns during bedtime. Once it’s later in the night, I slept well.

Cleanness and Location.
Breakfast was fair, same menu everyday. Crispy Bacon is my recommended.
Services - Hotel not accept Credit Card without prior notice. Only Cash payment and Deposit.
Water leakage in the toilet. Fixed but still leakage. However, Hotel decided to change to another room after couple days.
Breakfast - Wanton was not fresh and sour pork. Caused Diarrhea for 2 days.

This was our 2nd time staying in a transit through Phnom Penh. The hotel itself feels more like a business hotel and is clean & comfortable. We were upgraded and had a decent size room with good seating options like a small chaise lounge with coffee table, and desk + comfortable chair for remote working, ambient lighting & good Wi-Fi connection this time (didn’t stay on higher floors). We liked the bedside reading lamps & the AC worked well. The bed was very comfortable and linens were good quality. The staff were kind and helpful. The hot water shower had good pressure and worked well. The bathroom small but functional and clean. There was room clean on request, and daily water top up. We initially booked 2 nights and extended a 3rd due to transit changes, for the 3rd night we opted to try the breakfast which was better value than buying separately. The options were basic but did the job, catered to Chinese taste (congee , fried rice) but didn’t mind. It was worth it for the very good coffee, and the tropical fruit. There is a laundry room upstairs, and small gym. The roof terrace bar is also nice to sit and watch the skyline but it’s not regularly staffed. On our last night the hotel provided complimentary evening noodle soups which was delicious and a nice touch. Overall the hotel feels like a business hotel for Chinese men but the services and the quality of the room is good. It is also located near many amenities like ATMs and a small grocery store across the road selling things like mosquito repellents. Restaurants in the local area are mostly Chinese, and an Amazon cafe., reflecting more western prices.
Overall a good stay. Some things to note:
Walking isn’t easy in the local area as it’s so busy with traffic and on main roads, without proper pedestrian pavements so whilst things are nearby it’s quite a mission to get from A to B. There are however many tuktuks or cabs available via grab or PassApp. The small fridge in the room is barely cold, without adjustable temperature, if you need to store things to keep cool.

The rooms themselves were fine, but I had to be moved twice, due to two different issues (see below). Showers were good and the bed comfortable. I got upgraded to a better room which had a nice view. The staff were nice enough to move me to new rooms when I presented them with the problems I encountered (see below). The location is pretty good, central to a lot of things, but that's about the best thing I can say for it.
The hotel claims to be non-smoking, but it is clear they allow people to smoke wherever they want. The entire 6th floor smelt of smoke, and I could not take the first room offered because it stank of stale smoke. A day later I had to moved again because at least three different rooms with multiple Chinese men in them all that their doors open with cigarette smoke filling the hallways. It is very clear why they keep the doors to the outside open at all times, and why most of the empty rooms are left with the doors open to air them out. Even when I was outside I could see people smoking outside of the open windows from the stairways. If you are a non-smoker, or sensitive to smoke, stay away from this hotel. (Note to hotel: if you are serious about your non-smoking policy, please install smoke detectors that actually work).
Also, the wi-fi is terrible here. I had to use data on my phone the entire time, because even though my devices would show that they had connected to wi-fi, in fact, pages could never load properly, and it was impossible to watch anything, whether a short TikTok video, news clip, or movie.
The breakfast was not terrible, but it was not good either. Very much geared to Chinese tastes, but at least there were eggs, bacon, bread, and fresh fruit to rely on, even if the "cooked" food had been cooked ages before and was cold to eat.

It is very near to the Central Market.
The breakfast was disappointing. The coffee was so bad, it was basically water with a little bit of coffee essence, and not hot at all. For the amount of money that I paid, it should have been way better than this.

The Supreme Deluxe room by itself is awesome with the
Iights and automatic curtains, ideal for love pairs.
The Wifi in the Supreme Deluxe room (6th floor) is virtually INEXISTENT, which is sad, as it is the most expensive room in the hotel. The cheaper rooms downstairs have better ones.
The traffic at night is audiable if you are sensitive Person

Excellent room, good location, friendly helpful staff.large room with comfortable bed. Modern facilities, large TV. Breakfast included. I would stay again & would definitely recommend.
Nothing to dislike. Maybe more coffee in the room would be nice.

The hotel is exceptionally well run and super clean. The rooms seem to have been renovated recently as they feel brand new. Also very modern with electric curtains, different mood light settings.
The hotel also offers a complimentary laundry facility which really helps when travelling in the SE Asia heat.
The gym is simple yet enough equipment for a full body workout or cardio.
The location is also very central and easy to move around the city. Central Market is a 5 min walk and all the cultural landmarks are a short tuk-tuk ride away.
Breakfast could include a little more as I was hungry as only one serving is allowed.

Location, room, beds, staff.
No cleaning unless you find and press a small button on the wall before going out. Wi-fi was also very intermittent the first evening but to be fair the staff were very kind and offered for us to change room immediately for better connection.

big spacious rooms, good location
breakfast was ok but could have a few more options

Good location within walking distance of the main attractions in the city of Phnom Penh.
On one of the main roads in the centre of Phnom Penh but no noise pollution at all despite the traffic outside which was important as I was in one of the front rooms directly facing the main road.
Good service from the staff, a very well run small hotel.
The only issue I would mention is that the breakfast is small, however this is common throughout SE Asia and food / drink options are readily available within 2 mins walk so this is not really a problem.

The hotel room was big, modern and spacious. The facilities at the hotel were also good, there is a washing machine room upstairs next to the gym which can be used free of charge to wash your clothes which was nice.
sometimes our room smelt of cigarettes

My husband and I just finished a 3-night stay at Aurea Central Hotel in Phnom Penh. It was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend it. The location was excellent: next to the Central Market and a few blocks away form the business district/French Quarter. The hotel seems like it is brand new, and I assume it is newly renovated because the gym was still under construction. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious. The menu included a few options of Asian-inspired fare. We tried several of the options and each were wonderful. It was easy to access the hotel and there were always plenty of tuk-tuks outside ready to take us anywhere in town. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms had nice touches likes slippers and robes. They also greeted us with a "a happy anniversary" message on our bed as they knew were were in Phnom Penh to celebrate. The value for the quality of the hotel was exceptional, and we would return again
I loved the entire experience. A couple of improvements would include more reliable wifi and we had an electric kettle in our room but there was no tea or coffee provided (a very little suggestion)

The breakfast was ok, not very special. Nice spacious room.
The isolation of the room is very poor. Many streetnoise you can hearon the room.
Very far from the centre. Only Chinese restaurants in the surrounding.
