Truly enjoying my stay here. Hotel is very nice with Japanese design. Room is comfortable and spacious. Breakfast option is marvelous and food are great. I totally enjoyed the Japanese gohan option. There is cafe with free desserts (cookies) as well. Location is perfect as I am able to walk to Royal Palace area.
Staff is super friendly and respectful as per Japanese culture.
Everything is perfect

Ideally located near to the touristic area and the city historical centre, the hotel is just at the right place. The modern style is perfectly matching with comfort and cosiness. All rooms are very well equipped, silent, and the bathroom is a pure pleasure. Breakfast at roof floor is amazing and offers a wide choice in which anyone can be satisfied. view in the evening for the terrace near the pool is unique. Last but not least, the staff is so nice and helpful.
If I had to say something wrong, I would only suggest international plugs for electrical devices.

We mostly got what we expected at this hotel. The room has everything we could as for and more (had a heated jet spray in the toilet). The view was gorgeous from the room as well as the rooftop pool. Wanted to stay a few days more!!
There were lizards all over the walls of the rooftop pool. They don't show up during the day but come creeping out as it gets dark. I'm absolutely terrified and told the hotel staff about it but they did nothing. I was told by another property in Cambodia that lizards are considered to be a good thing (ward off evil, keep insects away) in their culture and then understood why no action was taken. I do understand that for a stay in nature but not a big hotel in a city. However, for the amount of money we paid (our most expensive stay in the country) we don't expect to be around lizards. I still think that pest control should be done.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was lovely. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. staff were friendly. Included breakfast had plenty of choice.

The check in was very easy and quick, and our room was very spacious. The location was excellent as the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda was a short walk away. A quick tip - if you want to visit these do it yourself as its $10 to get in per person and $10 for a guide. The views from the 18th floor while having breakfast were great, as was the breakfast. This is our second stay here, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
There's nothing to complain about, everything is excellent.

The staff were excellent. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely, although I wouldn’t expect to get a sun lounger during the busy periods.
Breakfast finishing at 9.30 was a little too early, and the food was quite standard. But still a lovely stay that I would recommend to people whilst in Phnom Penh.

I want to live at Hotel Emion. This was the last hotel my partner and I stayed at on our holiday to Cambodia and I'm so glad we chose this one. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The room was large, we had a balcony overlooking the river, a fridge/freezer, some cooking facilities, and even laundry facilities on every floor free to use by the guests. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was quiet. The breakfast was the best we've had here as well, with a lot to choose from, both Western and Asian, with a great view over Phnom Penh from the 18th floor. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The bathroom comes with a fantastic shower and bath, and a toilet that does everything for you (presumably as this is a Japanese-owned hotel...).
Absolutely nothing. It was my dream hotel.

Very basic, not my cup of tea. Bath towels not clean, pillow cases smell, water pressure is ridiculously low except the bath tub.

How a good hotel is ruined by a few incompetent, rude front desk staff.

The buffet breakfast is quite good with excellent choice of western and Japanese food mostly.
This is simply not hotel service. Half the hotel is used as apartment for expats working in PP and the staff does not know how to handle hotel clients. One morning, I arrived at breakfast 15 minutes before closing and was not allowed to access because they considered it as already closed. Only after protesting repeatedly did they allow me to enter the dining hall. When I finished eating, 40 people were still helping themselves to the food.

Clean and lots of great amenities. very close to town.
The triple room was not as expected and the manager who I contacted about this upon check-in never followed up with me to offer a solution.
