Good,

The flat was in good condition and had everything I needed during my stay. The size of the flat was really good, it had two double beds, cosy leaving room and decent size toilet and kitchen. The location was just perfect, one minute on foot from the Joilette metro station. I only used the green and orange lines. Everything was 1/2 hour away for me. There some grocery stores nearby too.

The kettle was not working, so I had to use a pan to boil water every time I wanted to make myself some coffee. The bath towel was really small and there was just one. I suppose the owner would provide more towels if there were more people staying, still bring your own towel if you can. I could not close the blinds in the leaving room and the bedroom adjacent to the leaving room has a a gap at the top of the wall and due to not being able to close the blinds I could feel the lights of the vehicles driving through the street so it made a bit more difficult for me to fall asleep, I could have slept in the 2nd bedroom, but there were no charging points like in the 1st bedroom. I checked in on Monday and on Tuesday around 5am-5.30am I woke up abruptly because of the noise being made by the neighbour right above the flat, the floor was creaking a lot, a boom, boom noise, it sounded like they were banging on the walls it was horrible and I struggled to fall asleep again. It felt like an eternity and I thought they weren’t going to stop making those noises. It happened again on Wednesday around the same time and a 3rd time but in the afternoon. This was the worst part of my stay. Also I wished Salim was contactable via WhatsApp instead of emails or phone calls only. I was using an e-sim and could not make or receive calls so this made it difficult to speak to Salim. I did email but response wasn’t very prompt or there was simply no answer.

I am very happy.

First,its big and clean,feels homey and closed to Bus and Metro station,grocery and parks.I feel safe.Definetly i am coming back.

I bit noisey upstairs when there walking.You can hear the squicky floor.But overall this place was good.

Great cheap place for groups of 4!

Cute little appartment, nicely decorated, spacious with everything you need. Nearby public transportation, and parking on the street is easy (on the weekend). Great value for the price, you could not find something cheaper for 4 people!

It is obviously not the nicest neighborhood of Montreal, but we were well aware of that so it wasn't an issue for us at all. It's still very safe, and the metro is less than one minute away, so no need to take long walks late at night.

wish I stayed elsewhere, saving grace was close to train

close to the train, good hair straightener and dryer, washing machine and dryer

the tenants above sounded like a herd of elephants traipsing back and forth from 4am through until 9pm. it was a little quieter during the day but consistent and VERY heavy. 2 towels only provided for 2 people for 3 nights. No additional blankets or pillows.

Very good

Great location literally at Metro stop. WiFi was great, facilities decent with everything working.

There were a lot of roadside parking with very variable signage in French that we couldn't understand. The neighbour upstairs walked a lot even late at night.

The apartment was clean and close to a metro but you really had to take the metro everywhere as it was not walkable to anything. although we found a fabulous Italian Restaurant that was a 13 min walk in the next neighbourhood - Pizzeria Hairloom.

The apartment is very basic and the living room not particularly comfortable. The entry way is also not at all desirable. The neighbourhood was quite grungy.

The apartment was clean and roomy. Parking was not a problem on the street. Metro station is in the next block, very convenient.

The location is outstanding. You are 200 feet from the entrance to a metro station. And the metro is a way to get around. Driving in Montreal can be a nightmare. The facilities are new. The washer and dryer in The apartment or a great bonus. The TV was good size. Nice neighborhood with a small park just up the street.

Unfortunately foot traffic from the apartment above came through loud and clear. There was a child and the child ran instead of walked and it was noisy. The free parking was on the street. It was a bit tricky and somewhat of a hassle.

Fantastic location and amenities. Just across the street from the metro and free street parking on the side streets. We just parked our car and used the metro for everything! The rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Convenient, had all the amenities and would recommend.

Nice to have two bedrooms, futon and full kitchen. Great communication from owner. Price was very reasonable.

Not enough towels, hole cutout in bedroom next to living room didn’t allow for much privacy.

We were staying at the downstairs. the upper floor made a lot of noise during night time. the pillows were too low and didn’t have extra ones.

I don't recommend this property for a family with little ones like us.

The mattress was comfortable. The subway stations was super close, and the kitchen was well equipped.

Safety! On the 5th night, someone broke into the unit and left a key bundle inside the foyer for some reason. The keys perfectly fitted the front door. From that moment, we had to barricade the two accessing doors every night. Besides, please bear in mind that this property is a basement apartment; either through the front door or the backdoor, you have to step DOWN. When the weather is humid, you smell mold.

Don’t hesitate to book this apartment.

the flat was literally a few minutes away from the metro. It was very well equipped, clean and had everything shampoo, toothpaste, etc.. The flat had a shared garden , a bonus. Salim the owner was very quick to respond and great at giving suggestions.

pretty chill !

I loved that it was right next to the metro like right next to it perfect spot . I also liked the vibe of it on the inside , really nice decor and stuff ! also you let me stay a bit later which was nice and very appreciated !

I left the back door unlocked cuz I smoke and kept going out and someone came in hahah but they were really nice and left but they said it used to be a crack house and they had came back from Ottawa and didn’t know it changed lol . he said it’s super nice now though so hats off on the repairs ! dude was really nice and told me to lock the doors and I felt stupid so it’s mostly my fault eh? but it did sketch me out just a tidbit ! I’m from a poor neighbourhood back home though so it was nothing new to me :)! maybe just have a security surveillance sign up even if it’s fake lol!

Comfortable

Everything about this place was amazing. Did not feel like a rental. Felt another home. They had sleepers for use, kitchen was stocked with all utensils and cleaning supplies, bathrooms had all toiletries and also baby bath tub (for someone with a baby) Overall very comfy place. Side note: better to list that it is a basement apartment. I read a negative review because they thought its an apartment with balcony (due to image of outside of the bulding)
