The photos on the web site do not do the property justice, the lodges are gorgeous and comfy.

Delightful little lodge in a group of about 8, Each private from the other with bespoke landscaping and fencing. The lodge was well equipped, modern, clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms was equally large with super comfy king beds. The heated floor in the bathroom was devine. We loved our stay and would definetly come back.

Great accommodations in Lake Tekapo

Loved our cabin/lodge with lovely lake view. It was spacious, nicely furnished, with front and side porches, well-equipped kitchen, and a short walk to lake and village. Check in was easy and staff friendly.

Heavenly!

Cozy, functional design, clean and meticulous construction. Attentive staff, wonderful little micro-farm with animals for feeding/petting. Quiet and super-dark nights accompanied by superb linens made for peaceful sleeps. A well-appointed kitchen with many of the basic comestibles we needed. Our highest regard for this lodging!

Amazing stay

Everything was good. The lodge was very clean and nice. It was fun to do a farm tour and pet and feed the animals and the jacuzzi under the stars was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful

Do yourself a favour and stay more than one night. It’s in a great location, comfortable and clean, can chill inside with nice views or outside with the free range chickens (and we had some ducks by our door too). The farm animals are cool, they provide some feed. We unfortunately check in late so we missed a lot of unwinding time in a beautiful place. Loved that they turned the heaters on for us on anticipation of arrival too

Amazing spot for a mid-winter holiday.

Loved the hot tub and the fire! The ‘Alpine Lodges’ are just charming - beautifully appointed, private and cosy.

Lovely bathroom but the open shower meant the floor was always drenched.

Superb

We liked that the cabin was lovely and warm for our arrival which in the middle of winter was great. The cabins have a lovely cosy feel and excellent log burners.

Could do with somewhere to hang coats.

The cozy feel of the cabin with the ambience of the wee fire. Have stayed here before and knew this was the place I wanted to come stay at again.

The split mattress on the bed were at two different heights, one side of the bed was higher than the other side. Although both halfs were comfortable, just not combined.

Convenient and comfy!

Loved the convenient location (5 mins from a supermarket) and the awesome hot tub when temperatures dipped to single digits! Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was also clean and well appointed. The addition of sheep, alpacas, ducks and a miniature cow were also much loved by my daughter.

The best in Lake Tekapo!

Alpine Lodges would have to be one of the most beautiful accommodations I have ever stayed in. Everything from the staff, the fireplace, the whole space within itself, the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, the farm animals. Everything was amazing. Location was excellent, only a short walk or drive into town. Honestly though, the farm animals were the absolute highlight for me. Reception gave us food daily so we could feed them! Thanks so much. I can't see myself staying anywhere else if I am to visit Lake Tekapo again. Mum and I became pretty quickly obsessed with the cinnamon scrolls from a local cafe called The Greedy Cow - please do yourself a favour!

I cannot fault anything.

The cabin was amazing, well equipped, warm, very comfortable, loved the small wood burner, big comfortable beds and outstanding views of Lake Tekapo.

No outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the amazing views. Very little explanation of the cabin or how to operate anything in the folder. No Brush or vacuum to clean up crumbs on floors.

we had a lovely time at the Alpine Lodges. The staff was so welcoming and helpful and the lodge really lovely.

the location was great and our daughter loved the petting far.

Beautiful and cosy stay that can’t be faulted

Beautiful location and views. The room was super cosy and clean with all the amenities we needed. We could have comfortable stayed for weeks. The fireplace and bath were perfect for relaxing after a long day at Mt Cook.

Wonderful Stay and Exceptional Staff

After travelling for 24+ hrs from Cali without much sleep, I arrived at The Cairns and was glad that the check in process was quick and easy. Just get the keys and you are on your way :) I stayed at the Alpine Lodge Unit with 2 Bedrooms + 1 Bathroom configuration. Everything is 100% as described and pictured on Booking.com. The cabin is super comfy, cozy and amazingly clean. I slept so well :) The staff is also exceptional. Sam was really awesome giving me helpful local tips and hiking trails recommendation at Mt. Cook. Thank you Sam for your hospitality!

Excellent accommodations and a beautiful view, 5 minute walk from the lake

Perfect location, friendly hosts, and well appointed lodge with everything we could need. So appreciated the welcome treats and large selection of teas after a long travel day. Highly recommend !
