About this house rental
A stay at Winifred is a great way to enjoy the acclaimed wineries of the Mornington Peninsula, along with the craft breweries, artisan food stores and selection of eateries.
But it’s just as ideal if all you want is to escape to the hills. This sprawling ranch-style home is set among four hectares of lake-fed pastures, orchards and landscaped grounds.
A group of up to fifteen can be comfortably accommodated, with five bedrooms, including the master suite and guest suite, a large family bathroom and extra toilet.
Impeccably designed, the three separate living areas include the grand hall (also with open fire), an informal family room, and a snug little library for moments of privacy.
The hub of the home is the designer kitchen and dining area with open fire. There are also cooking facilities on the terrace, which steps down to a sunken lounge and fire pit.
Winifred’s luxurious appeal is further exemplified by the vanishing-edge swimming pool, perfectly situated to overlook the estate, with views to the ocean and horizon beyond.
What better place could there be to ponder and plan your day trips to sample all the temptations of Red Hill.
