The only things I did not like about my stay was, I was unable to reach Microwave on top of fridge. Too high to reach or use and no kitchen with pot or pans to make breakfast. I could not even make oatmeal. Normal start the day is slow with breakfast that I bring with me. Unable to make it in this venue and toaster was old and did not work well. However, beds great, towels good, over all property well maintained excepts for Kitchen.

We enjoyed our stay. Some issues with internet but it seemed the weather was the culprit. Otherwise, we found the apt to be clean and the description to be accurate.

Stayed for my daughter’s graduation from Tulane. This townhouse gave us a unique, beautiful, clean respite from activities. We started each day with a walk and coffee; had some friends over for a glass of wine before dinner. Everyone complimented the house! Great location and easy street parking!

Our stay at Jule’s & William’s apt was delightful. With a 30-year span since our last visit to NOLA, they were invaluable guides. Answered all our pre-trip & during trip questions in a very timely manner. Felt I could reach them, if needed.
Apt is beautiful. Very large main room. Well laid out for our comfort. The two bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Very quiet. Hardly any street noise. The patio in the rear of the apt was perfect to practice Tai Chi. Very peaceful. Check in and check out was a breeze. An easy 2 blk walk away is the St. Charles Trolley which can take you directly to Canal St. & a walk to the French Quarter.
Also 2 blks from the apt. is a wonderful breakfast café, Surrey’s. Rec by the hosts. For Po-Boys, we enjoyed the host’s rec of Parasol’s, approx a 7-blk walk from home.
What we enjoyed most was all the local people we met while walking the streets of the Lower Garden District to partake in their great food and music. Everyone was so welcoming. We feel like we really experienced the hospitality of the South thanks to this great location and the guidance of our wonderful hosts. We will be back.

Jules was a great host, very knowledgeable and accommodating. This is a great place if you only plan on using the two bedrooms, but if plan on using the pull out bed in the living room, the outside noise will disrupt your sleep. The neighborhood is very nice, restaurants within walking distance, and we felt safe.

Everything about this rental was outstanding from the initial contact to our departure. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout our encounter. The owner contacted us during our stay to ensure we had no issues or questions. Before our arrival, we were given a brief history of our neighborhood, nearby points of interest, and a comprehensive list of suggested restaurants. Upon our departure, we were given a historical picture book of New Orleans to remember our stay in this beautiful city. Our visit from beginning to end was fantastic. We highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic and we had access to the Garden District and the French Quarter. It was a comfortable, pleasant place to return to. We had good communication with the owners and were able to move the microwave for easier use, we are shorter and initially had trouble reaching it. Very pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

The location on Magazine Street was a perfect home base for us to experience NOLA. The house had historic charm and had the modern amenities to make our stay comfortable. It was very clean, and the host was responsive and very easy to work with. There are great restaurants within steps of the front door. Catching the trolly was just a few blocks away. So glad we chose this location to stay.

The property was beautiful and it was located within walking distance of a few great spots! Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be able to experience what New Orleans has to offer! Hosts were great with communication and even offered a few suggestions. Would definitely recommend this location!!

We had a great family trip to New Orleans. Loved the location of this place and it was an easy walk to get to the street car and some nice breakfast (Surrey's Cafe) and coffee. Fat Boy Pantry has interesting homemade ice cream flavors that were delicious and open late for a family stroll next door after a long day of touristing. It was super hot the week we were there and having a reliable, cool air conditioner was so appreciated! The bed was also very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. (Usually my least favorite thing about traveling is being stuck with an uncomfortable bed!). The apartment was well equipped, had plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out and was nicely decorated.

My husband & I have visited New Orleans a few dozen times and this was my favorite stay to date. In past years we have enjoyed being closer to Canal St & staying in lovely hotels due to thinking Magazine may be too far. We were wrong. I think if I were in my 20’s still, I would still prefer staying here. It is a lovely home, peaceful, clean, historic, cozy. So may things that I could say but most of all, it is on my favorite street & allowed us to get a taste of what we are missing if we don’t by that vacation property. Do yourself a favor & book this place.

Amazing time during our stay. The FQF was in full effect! So nice to be a short distance away from the fun to get away, relax and recover until the next adventure while we visited. A gem!

Staying on Magazine St was a major blessing for our time in NOLA. The property was beautiful, and had all the features advertised in the listing. Jules was very helpful and easy to communicate with, I would 100% stay here again.

We chose this location due to its close proximity to the parade route (St Charles was approx. 2 blocks behind us). Beautiful building, design, and décor within a great neighborhood close to many shops and restaurants. We liked that the host provided bulk salon-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and that a keurig single use coffee pot, tea kettle, and a large coffee pot was provided as well. The kitchen area was small but easily served all of our needs well. Massive indoor living spaces, walk in showers, and gorgeous outside courtyards made our stay very comfortable. The tv had tons of channels to chose from and while very little time was spent watching tv, we were able to find whatever we needed to watch with little effort. If we had brought our car, we would have had plenty of safe well-lit parking available right across the street in front of the BnB. Highly recommend this BnB and plan to stay here again! Great host!

We stayed here a year ago on our post-Thanksgiving trip to New Orleans and loved it so much we booked it again for this year. Our perfect vacation is eat, drink, walk, talk, and this Lower Garden District home fits the bill for us. We can walk to the warehouse district, the French Quarter, or out to the Garden district. There are wonderful restaurants and bars very close. Jules, the host, is great with his communications and information about the area. Hope to stay here again on our next visit to New Orleans and highly recommend it!

Loved this apartment! I was in New Orleans for a conference and wanted a place to stay that was walking distance. This one was perfect! While we experienced some issues with the internet, Jules was very responsive and did everything in her control to remedy the situation quickly. The apartment was very cute, and though initially cold (we were worried), the heaters did the job and warmed the space up perfectly for our stay! Magazine street is a great street, and you are not too far from, restaurants, bars, boutiques, etc. I'd easily stay here again!

The property was perfect for our purposes. It was a short 15-minute walk to the Morial Convention Center and had a great variety of restaurants to choose from. Parking was fun, but this property worked out great!

The hosts went above and beyond to make our one night stay at their lovely home as comfortable and welcoming as possible. We ended up getting into town very late and the host waited for us by saving a parking space out front and helping us in with our bags. We only stayed one night so they extended our check out time by a few hours, which really helped with rest and meals. The little breakfast place right around the corner, called Birdy’s was fantastic. The home is beautiful and efficient and we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you! Only place I would ever stay in New Orleans!

We stayed in this beautiful historic condo for several days and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for 3 women to stretch out, cook meals, and enjoy a fun weekend getaway. There are LOTS of places within walking distance and everything in the French Quarter is a short Uber away. Jules was a pleasure to work with! Would certainly stay again.

The property was spotless, light and bright, owners were so great about information for eating and transportation. We were two women alone... felt very safe. Loved the unit.
