This beautiful home is located in the gated subdivision at the end of West Beach Boulevard, Laguna Key, right by the community pool and the beach walkover. Enjoy a spacious, open floor plan with a sizeable full-size kitchen with two refrigerators that opens up to the living room and dining area, perfect for a large family beach vacation or group getaway! With this home, you will also enjoy the Laguna Key subdivision's shared outdoor pool and tennis court.

The boardwalk for Laguna Key's beach access is just across the street from the subdivision. Take a short drive into town, where you'll find numerous dining and shopping options. You can also spend the day at Gulf State Park, only eight miles east, where you can hike the nature trails, fish, swim, kayak, and even golf!

THINGS TO KNOW
The climate will impact the pool temperature because the weather might be unpredictable. Therefore, sudden dips in temperature might cause the pool water's temperature to drop.

Very clean, beautiful, comfortable home. We had 11 adults and 3 toddlers and house fit our needs very well. Very comfortable beds!!

This home has a good layout and even offers views of the Gulf without being on the beach. There is space inside for gathering and the walk to the beach is very short. There are a few beach chairs and one umbrella in the garage for beach use and also several usable bikes. The neighborhood is small and the people we met were friendly. Doctor’s Orders made for a a very pleasant and relaxing getaway.

It was a great location (secluded) !!! Our stay was awesome except for Saturday afternoon, there was a house right outside of neighborhood that was having some type of party and a lot of them decided to come to the pool and made the pool over crowded!! So we had to leave the pool. Not only were they not staying in the neighborhood the security guard was using her golf cart to bring them to the pool. But all and all it was a great stay minus that one afternoon!!!

Last summer (2022) my family had a different Vacasa home rented, then one week prior to check-in we were informed the home would not available (!!) We were re-assigned to Doctors Orders and actually ended up loving it - the home is great, especially because the pool next door was perfect for the 6 small kids with us. So this summer we rented Dr's Orders again (mostly for the pool!) but with no heads up and only upon arrival did we see the pool was under major construction and wouldn't be available. We called Vacasa to ask to be moved to a comparable house with a pool but there were no good options last minute. The Vacasa employees I spoke to over the phone were rude and wouldn't take responsibility. It was clear no one had come out to check status of the pool remodel based on their comments. They said things like "well it's raining today so I doubt you can use the pool anyway" and "this just happened, it's not our fault". I have to disagree - I believe it's the property manager's responsibility to monitor their properties to ensure they meet customer expectations. After several calls they ended up refunding us $500 on an $8k rental and said it's "the best they can do". Lesson learned: after back-to-back years with last minute unexpected changes to my rental, I won't be using Vacasa next year.

Perfect stay for our group! Exceeded our expectations for both inside the home and out! plenty of room to spread out, beach right across the road, pool directly beside home. Lagoon just a short walk away. Our family/friends love to fish, so we're a little disappointed extended length of pier wasn't rebuilt, but still had enough room to fish. We had one plumbing issue during our stay. Tre, property care taker for Vacasa, had someone out to check within an hour. Both Tre and the young man who came out to check the problem were wonderful! Everyone agrees this will definitely be a place to stay again!

We loved the house. The location is great! From the balconies you can see in every direction from sunrise to sunset. Watching our family when they were at the pool, the tennis court and the boardwalk that leads to the beach is a great advantage. It is very spacious and the decor is very nice.

The pictures posted are the OLD pics. If you think they are great, then you will be floored when you see the new and improved Doctor's Orders. It is an "Amazing" property....one of our best visited! There were a few glitches with the television, dated bikes and the ice makers as it appears to be in the final stages of updating. Vacasa took care of us. Have fun at the awesome pool next door, the view from the balcony, the convenience of an elevator, the space with privacy, and the short walk across the street to the beach. I'm a travel agent and know when "This is it". This is it!

All the space! Everyone had their own bathroom! My favorite thing was to take my daily nap on the outdoor beachside balcony upstairs… and the sound of the ocean and all of us agreed those were THE MoSt comfortable beds we had ever slept on. Our teenagers, their families who came to visit(with MORE teenagers) agreed this was THE best spot in Gulf Shores. Love that there’s no stores, arcades, etc. enjoy what you have! We all loved it. Best vacation ever!

This was a great home! We did have a problem with lots of construction work on the home when we were there because they were tearing the roof off. It was pretty noisy and slightly dangerous walking outside. Vacasa took care of us though and made it right which was great. The house was wonderful though besides the construction. We would stay there again as long as the construction work is all done. 😂

This house was perfect for your family vacation! We had 4 generations together, 10 adults and 7 kids from 10 to 9months. We did use a couple of mattresses on the floor for the little boys. But the room off the master upstairs was perfect for that, with their own tv. We used the pool and were so grateful for the extras in the garage for the kids. The elevator was a surprise, but it was so handy with the loads of things we brought with us. With the full sized washer dryer, we were even able to leave for home with the laundry finished! WE LOVED GULF SHORES , BUT TO HAVE YOUR OWN BEACH, PRICELESS! We really hated to leave.

Wished my orders were for a longer stay. But it worked. I had family come into town to attend the “Celebration of Life” for the Love of my Life. And Doctors Orders gave me the perfect resting place as the events unfolded. We enjoyed the house so so very much. Relaxing in the jetted tub was just what the Doctor Ordered!! This home is absolutely inviting for grownups has well as the children. Thank you Doctor 🙏❤️🙏

This super nice house was great for my family. The pool and tennis courts are right next door. The beach access is right across the street. The neighborhood has a gate, which keeps traffic to a minimal. My daughter learned to ride her bike. The beach was not crowded. The house was clean and had everything we needed and more.

The entire environment was beautiful....peaceful...clean...accommodating and very welcoming. The view was absolutely breath taking. Easy access to the beach and pool in an upscale neighborhood. The house was definitely the best choice I could have made for my family and will book again...!!!

Everything from booking to check in to check out was as simple as it gets. This house was amazing. It’s locates in a private gated community and I didn’t realize how convenient the location of this house was until I saw other people traveling by golf cart or walking to the private boardwalk to the beach that was literally right across the street from the house. Only people in this community has access. It is also right next to the community pool everyone else has to get to. Plenty of sleeping space. The house has almost everything you need for an amazing beach experience so please look in the garage and take advantage of the tools there. The outdoor showers helped a lot with keep sand outside. The only issue we had was the washer did not work but I called and the property owner came the next day with plenty of towels. We really appreciated that. There is a 18 min drive up to where restaurants and stores are but we came during the COVID-19 pandemic so we didn’t need to go anywhere after we got groceries, so the trip was PERFECT FOR ALL of my family. We plan to come back soon.

We absolutely love this place.... enough room for kids to run and play, close to beach for easy access!! Pool right beside house which was awesome!! The house was very clean and elegant!!! Not out dated at all... we WILL stay here again next year. The convenience alone was worth every penny!!
