5BR 5.5BA. Beachfront. Pool. Right across from Waves Grocery. Perfect location. Perfect place. Accommodates up to 18 per side, 36 in both!

This listing is for the Sundancer's EAST Unit: 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, sleeping up to 18. I own the west side unit too (and there is a connecting door in the main living room). Inquire if you need 10 bedrooms! Even better than a 10 bedroom home: 2 of everything (except the pool, and of course the refrigerators: you'd have FOUR fridges!).

We own the Sundancer East, Sundancer West, or you can book them together as a 10BR as Sundancer East & West!

Sundancer is a beautiful duplex located directly on the beach of the Gulf! Open the back doors and enjoy sun, surf, and sand!

Location. Location. Location. Right on the beach, The Sundancer duplex is in a terrific location: right across the street from Waves Grocery, a restaurant, ice cream, and more! In season: S&S Seafood is open. Order up some shrimp, corn, and potatoes steamed (I choose cajun, of course!). The pool on Sundancer is beachside, fairly sheltered, fenced, and open to the sun, and there is a lot of space under the home (on concrete) to escape the heat and sun if you need to do so!

Each side has 5 bedrooms

2nd Floor N Master BR: King
3rd Floor S BR: King
3rd Floor Middle BR: King
3rd Floor N BR: Two Triple Bunks (single over full)
4th Floor S Master: King

Additionally, there are Queen Sleeper Sofas in the 3rd floor lounge bonus room as well as in the 2nd Floor (main) living room.

ALL King bedrooms have their own en suite bath. The bunk room and bonus room QSS share a common bath.

Each side has TWO, yes two, master bedrooms, one on the main floor and the other on the 4th floor beachfront, each with a tub with separate shower.

TWO REFRIGERATORS
Two? Per side? Yes two. Because you won't want to stay somewhere without an extra fridge once you have had them.

POOL
Big. Private to the two sides of the duplex: no sharing with other places nearby. The pool is open all year. It's a big 25x14x3-5' Rectangle Lounge chairs are provided around the pool. The pool is NOT heatable. You will find that to be rare, and clearly noted in a listing, and usually involve a per night surcharge. The pool is, however, open all year.

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though!

PARKING
There is available onsite, offstreet, parking for at least 6 midsize vehicles if you use space under the home and stack well. In duplex units, please be neighborly about this.

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, GRILLS ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have both drip coffee makers and Keurigs as well.

PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends at many locations. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Approval in a duplex location, especially for peak weeks, generally is only available for guests renting both sides of the duplex. Please inquire.

Really big group? I own 4 duplexes side by side. Can handle just about any group size!

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving on the beach in Sundancer. It was clean, lots of room, and everything we needed for Thanksgiving meals. We loved being right on the beach, and right across from the store and restaurant too. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. Accommodations were great, weather was perfect, and a few of us never left the property! Plenty of grocery stores were close by, including a Super Walmart. Nice to have a pool for when the kids tired of the beach.

This vacation home was just perfect for all of our family !!! There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of play room for the kids too !! The property was clean, neat , and happy !! We would beach in the morning and go to the pool in the afternoon !! We also loved the location !! It was close to everything and especially the little store across the street !! End of summer vacation with family and friends, and a last minute change of plans on where we were staying brought us to this house. Everyone wanted to be on the beach and this house delivered. Plenty of space in the house for everyone to have their own area and even more. Literally just steps to the beach and it was much less crowded than the public areas. Our group decided to eat out every night so we did not do much cooking, but it looked as though the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Communication with the owner and check in was easy with no problems at all. We had a great stay, and would recommend this property!

We loved our stay in the purple house. The house was in a great location. Across the road from Waves that made it easy to pick up anything you needed. West enough that you have more space on the beach. Pool was great to share with just one other family. House was spacious enough large group didn’t feel on top of each other. Everyone could have their own space. We would love to come back!

This house is in the perfect location! It’s not on the main, busy drag but still close enough to get to all of the restaurants, shops, and excursions you want to do. The house was great for our family of 14 (infants to adults). We loved having the private pool and being steps away from the beach. The house is a little outdated and needs some maintenance work done, but overall is a great place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The bedrooms were very spacious, and the extra bunk bed room was perfect for our group. The extra refrigerator was also a bonus! We appreciated the amount of communication and access we had to the management company.

We enjoyed our stay spending time with our family during the Thanksgiving holidays. The Condo was nice and we like that area. The complaints we had was the floor was dirty when we arrived, the mattresses were noisy, the appliances and linens were old.

Loved the property. We would definitely choose this house to stay for family vaca again. Only complaint I could think of would be might could do a better mattress, or a mattress topper. But if there was no change I’d still be happy to stay again!!! Wonderful owners as well!!!!

We loved how big the property was for accommodating our large group of 6 adults, 5 teenagers and 1 child. The pool right off the deck was wonderful and the short walking distance to the beach was perfect. Not too far for pulling all of our gear out and getting exhausted. The location to restaurants and shopping is great! What we were not satisfied with was how the property was just not clean. A half eaten pop tart left on a dresser, the floors feeling like they haven’t been swept in days (and we had just arrived) and the spill that wasn’t wiped up well on one set of steps that just collected dirt. For what we paid for the week, I would’ve expected better. The mattresses were a lot to be desired as well; and very dirty under the mattress pads. I’m very glad we brought our own sheets. I wish I would have read the reviews better to see that we could’ve called to have someone come re-clean the place and keep coming back until we were satisfied; especially since we paid so much for it. Our family had a great vacation and enjoyed being together in this very big house. Like I said, the location to the beach and to restaurants is perfect! I just hope that going forward, a better job is done in making sure that the cleaning is looked at further.

The house and location were fabulous. Couldn't have asked for better place and management were on top of everything. My only complaint/issue was the cost. I paid a lot so my family could be together after the China virus and gov. lockdowns. I know, big house, great location, kept in tip-top shape, first week of vacation season, you expect to pay, and we got what we paid for. So, let me withdraw that complaint and put another star up.

This is a great house for large familiesWe were very pleased with the layout of the house everyone has their own bathroom which is very nice when you’re entertaining 14 guest. The house could use some updating as far as some of the furniture. Also I know it’s impossible to keep but a few more pots and pans would’ve been nice as well it wasn’t a large variety. But it would not keep me from running this house again the owners were excellent to work with the maintenance staff was quick to respond to any repair or issue that we may have had. Highly recommend
