About this apartment rental
A grassed foreshore separates the Intrepid Building from the white sands of Shoal Bay Beach which is ideal for the kids to play.
Unit 13 Intrepid is a fantastic two-bedroom unit on the 1st floor and offers modern plantation shutters throughout and an open plan living area with spectacular water views to the headlands.
The fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of bench space, an upright stove, microwave and fridge/freezer.
The main bedroom has water views and access to the balcony and the renovated bathroom provides a shower, vanity and separate toilet. An internal laundry with top loader washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities are also available.
Close by and all within a quick ten-minute walk there are a variety of restaurants including Little Beach Boathouse, Halifax takeaway fish and chip shop, The Inner Light Tearooms and Diggers.
The unit provides a single lock-up garage and one open car space which is ideal for a 2nd vehicle or small trailer boat/ jet ski.

Pros and Cons
Pro: Location and views
Con: very uncomfortable beds and couches. All areas had very dim lighting. Only a bar heater supplied which continually tripped the power.
This unit is in a great location for beach holidays, and is a safe walk for families to Little Beach and Shoal Bay. Stay here if you don't mind the mattress springs sticking through the linen, and if the weather is warm. Don't, if you want to enjoy the views comfortably from inside, or the balcony, and need a good bed.
We left before the birthday we planned to celebrate, which we have never done before on a vacation.

Amazing view and location
The accommodation is very comfortable, close to the beach and shops and prefect for a family.
