Welcome to Ohio Cottage, a 4 bedroom house on the bluff in Spokane's popular Kendall Yards district. Take advantage of all Spokane has to offer from this beautiful home within walking distance of major Spokane attractions, excellent eats and sweets, local coffee, wine and beer, shopping, gourmet grocery, and even a spa. Walk out the front door to the Centennial trail for miles of running or biking, a Lime Scooter ride, or a stroll to Riverfront Park (1.06 mi). Sip your coffee (plus delicious fresh donuts, if you're feeling hungry, just steps from your door) on the private back patio with stunning views of downtown Spokane. Take in a show at the Spokane Arena (1 mi) or the Performing Arts Center (1.3 mi). Or simply curl up on the couch and binge watch your favorite show, read or play games. This home has a unique character, with a customized design to make the most of each room’s best features. Beautiful windows capture the stunning views. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful touches such as guest slippers and chocolates. Situated in a beautiful neighborhood, peaceful location, but close to local restaurants and amenities offered in downtown Spokane.

This Kendall Yards home is situated in a lovely part of Spokane near everything we wanted to do and see. An unexpected night market and music concert just blocks away plus yoga studios, great eateries, nature walks and more make this an ideal location. The home is clean and Liz and Elliot have provided everything you could possibly need in a "home away from home". There are lovely views of nature from all windows. Just a heads up to anyone dealing with ambulation or stair climbing issues, that there are stairs to negotiate, a couple flights. However, there is a sturdy smooth banister which made that safe for me. This is a five star vbro and we look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay at Ohio Cottage. It was clean, comfy, had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family, and was most importantly, was well air conditioned during a heat wave of 104°.

The house looks small from the outside, but is spacious and welcoming. There was not a single thing lacking for our stay. The kitchen has every cooking item we could have needed. Every bed was comfortable. The laundry room is quite large and the washer/dryer in excellent working order. The back patio was our favorite place to sit, and we had a few deer visit during our stay.The neighborhood is lovely, and the owners even provide bikes and scooters for guests' use. Instructions and information are readily available at check-in, and are clear and easy to understand. We loved the many decorative touches as well. An absolute 5-star property and owner.

We stayed at the Ohio Cottage for 5 nights in mid-June. What a charming and unusual house! We were surprised to find it was built in the 90s--it has the charm of a 1940s home but is totally modern.
Although my husband was born in Spokane and I lived there for several years, we have never really seen the city from this angle. It was fun trying to identify familiar landmarks from this side of town. We wished we'd brought our binoculars. Of course, being close to the restaurants of Kendall Yards was super convenient, as was the access to the Centennial Trail. Movie buffs can easily jog on over (down?) to the Vision Quest house AND the Benny and Joon house.
We had plenty of room for ourselves and our two adult children. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and very clean. The bathrooms were spacious and offered all we needed. We couldn't hook up our Fire TV Stick, but the house offered a Roku with access to most of what we'd have watched anyway. We enjoyed many hours on the patio.
Communication with the owner was easy and straightforward.
We would definitely stay here again if we travel with a group.

This home was perfect. It was very clean and nicely decorated, with plenty of room for 5 of us. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were spacious. The location was perfect with beautiful views in the back and a lovely park in the front. Quiet and serene! We could walk to the city along the Centennial Trail which was literally right outside the door. The host, Elliot, was super nice and responsive. We loved it and hated to leave!

Love this property! So close to everything! Located just across the street from the continental trail with bikes, scooters and skate boards to use.
House itself is so much bigger than it looks from the street. Views from every room are fantastic!

The location of this lovely home could not have been better. We walked the trail, visited shops and enjoyed the bikes that were kindly provided. Each room had a beautiful view. We cannot wait to return!

We loved this home. It was a great location with a cute little park across the street and within walking distance to the bakery. The house was clean, well stocked, and very inviting. The mini splits in every room was a nice surprise. Every guest was able to adjust the temperature to their preferred temperature. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house in Kendall Yards. On the Centennial Trial - they have bikes and scooters for your use! Donuts and Crepes just a 3 minute walk and a little park just across the street! The house has comfortable beds and it’s layout provides privacy - upstairs has two bedrooms with a little play area - perfect for a family! Downstairs has a primary bedroom - perfect for the grandparents! It also has a main floor bedroom. The house is very clean with views overlooking the Spokane River! We loved it! Liz and Elliot are superb Hosts!

This lovely sunny home was perfect for our family gathering. Comfortable beds and great kitchen. The three levels gave each of us privacy,I and the lower floor kitchen, dining and sitting area perfect for getting together. We had a wonderful time attending the ANCC tournament and staying at the cottage. Cottage was just 1.1 mile from the arena allowing us to walk to and from - also close to downtown. Kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to cook meals to reduce cost. Overall it was a perfect weekend. Thank you

We had a small family gathering in Spokane and wanted a place near Riverfront park.
We found a gem here, a comfortable, clean home with beautiful views.
The Centennial trail is across the street along with a fun play area for the kids.
The kitchen is large with plenty of room for cooking.
The house has easy access to I-90 and is at the end of a street with plenty of parking.

My husband and I (from Port Angeles), our son, daughter-in-law and grandson from Dallas, and daughter and son-in-law from Loveland CO, all stayed here over the Christmas holiday. We were delighted and excited from the moment we stepped into this absolutely lovely cottage overlooking Peaceful Valley and the Spokane River. The location was close to Kendall Yards and downtown Spokane as well as several great restaurants. We were also equal distance from my folks and my sister so it was easy to get together with family.
The Ohio Cottage is one of the cleanest and most well appointed vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. There is a wonderful play area with games and toys - the blocks were our grandson’s favorite! Additionally, instructions were clear and concise, from running the washing machine to using the fireplace. If there was a question, the hosts were quick to answer and help.
I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a memorable stay for all of us.

Went for a long half weekend with buddies for a bachelor party. Place was perfect, great location, clean, comfy, pretty much everything we needed to cook, stay, hang out and have a home base for our outings. Anything you need is within about a mile and it is all walkable. Will rent again for sure. To the hosts, we meant to replace the garlic powder as we used the last of yours. Didn’t realize until we were 5 hours away. Sorry about that. Everything was excellent, highly recommend.

The home was great. Had everything you could possibly need. My wife left her Diabetes Tester in a drawer. Owner found it and mailed it to our home in Arizona. The home is across the street from a walking path that follows the river.

We had a multi-generational group celebrating a birthday. This was the perfect gathering spot.
The house has plenty of privacy for bedrooms but also space for group cooking, eating, and playing games.
We walked to Riverfront Park as well as a few times around the pretty neighborhood block.
The 2 cafes 1/2 block away were fantastic for coffee and donuts.
I highly recommend this cottage for a quiet stay with fantastic views, plenty of room, and easy access to the walking trail that will take you to several restaurants or the Park.

We stayed here 3 nights for my sons baseball tournament at Gonzaga University. Location was great. Access to centennial trail couldn’t have been better. We brought our e-bikes and we’re able to bike to the games. House was immaculate clean and well taken care of. Plenty close place to eat. Park across the street for littles. Amazing view of the city.

We had a family reunion in Idaho and we couldn’t have picked a better home to stay at.
The owners are so engaged, gave us great recommendations. I love unique coffee shops and one is literally a block away from this home.

Our family stayed at the Ohio cottage for a 2nd time and the house was as wonderful as we remembered. The location IS outstanding, but this place just has a cool personality and has everything you need for a fun, relaxing visit.
About the hosts - they are outstanding! A "welcome to Spokane message", easy check in, a mid week message to make sure all was well, and an easy checkout. After our 1st stay, I made two minor suggestions and was so pleased that both things suggested were there for our visit this time.
We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at the cottage in Kendall Yards. The location is ideal close to coffee shops, niche restaurants and downtown. The view is amazing and you are right off the Centennial Path. The property is nicely landscaped, the kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable! We definitely look forward to returning in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were very comfortable, the house is lovely and drinking my morning coffee on the patio was so peaceful. The location is convenient to restraunts and activities. Would recommend this house to anyone staying in Spokane. The owners respond quickly and are easy to work with.
