We came back to Tokyo after a week in Osaka and Kyoto. They remembered us and upgraded our stay. Super nice and helpful staff, good English speakers. The room was just as modern and cosy as last time, it just had tall, double ceilings.
Nothing, really :)

location a bit far from train station

The whole experience is very well thought out, excellent staff, service, food and the rooms are beautiful.
4.5
Loved the staff, the hotel style, the shower, room was quiet at night & the mini bar
Room 16 The bathroom shower area could have done with a better clean and the rain shower head went everywhere as it must be clogged
4.5
The room is spacious and tastefully designed and decorated. The staff were definitely a highlight of this stay - extremely helpful, cheerful and informative and helped to make various restaurant reservations.
The bed was slightly hard and while the design of the room was interesting - some parts were not ergonomically great for example the sinks were quite low and narrow making it difficult to use it, the racks at the toilet where toiletries are to be placed is also low and hard to reach. However, the location is awesome, while it is 4 mins away from train station, the neighbourhood where k5 is in is tucked and nestled in an area of nice preserved buildings making it quiet and exclusive and the nihonbashi neighbourhood is not touristy at all making it an excellent option if u prefer to be away from hustle and bustle of Shinjuku or Shibuya. The area is also peppered with great cafe scene of small coffee roasters, brunch spots etc. v nice to explore the area.

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff. We stayed there for a special occasion and the staff made brilliant little touches that made the occasion even more special. The room and the hotel itself is very stylish and really comfortable.

Perfect place. Design. Quiet.
Amazing room and staff.
Breakfast
4.5
The area is quiet, a 5 minute walk under the train. There was a lack of synchronization between the menus presented to us at the reception and what was in the mornings. The breakfast was good and surprising. It is noticeable that the dining area is managed separately. The staff quickly dealt with any request or problem. The room is amazingly designed, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is excellent - the power of the current needs to be improved. Overall an excellent experience. Thanks for the treats and sake! good bar
It is possible to improve the cleanliness of the concrete floor, water flow and coordination between reception and food.Their bar is excellent
But there is a price list on the door
There really isn't any drink that matches the price list
Everything is different on the menu

The design of the room was exceptional, we loved the furniture and layout. It was super clean throughout our stay and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They checked each day when was a good to clean the room and helped us with getting bicycles and taxis when needed. The bar was terrific too and the downstairs restaurant by Brooklyn Beer was really nice; the food was mexican inspired tacos and quesadillas and was a nice break from Japanese food. Vinyl player and amp in the room was a great touch and really helped set the mood. The books and furniture in the room made it feel homely as well. Overall images didn't do the room justice.
It was basically a 10/10 stay, not much we didn't like apart from the restaurant was closed a day we were there but the staff offered to supply us breakfast from a local cafe.

Fun and eccentric hotel in a nice area of Tokyo. The decor is amazing. We liked the plants in the room and the huge bathroom. The room is large and well-equipped. The staff was nice and helped make restaurant reservations. Thanks !
It was not possible to pay cash for the rooms. The single bed was small for 3 people (1 adult, two kids).
Service was slow at the Tacos' restaurant in the basement, but good food.

Everything was excellent. Probably one of the best hotel experiencea I've had. The look and feel of the entire hotel is very cool. The experience was unlike any other hotel we stayed at. Super sheek. The service was great. Everyone at the hotel as super helpful.
There is also a very popular resto tied to the hotel called Caveman. Loved it.
There is not much of a view. But we're in the city. So you shouldn't expect much to begin with.

Boutique hotel with great design and thoughtful touches in the room. The record player was awesome. Staff super friendly and helpful. Cafe, caveman restaurant and the cocktail bar were great. K5 is a great place to stay after a busy day exploring Tokyo!

This property was INCREDIBLE. Everything - from check in, service while we were there, suggestions of where to visit and even that they went the extra mile when we arrived late to contact our dinner reservation - was utter perfection. and don’t even get me started on the room! the room itself was expertly designed, offering way more convenience than the photos hunted at. we had a spacious room with a desk, a record player, the ability to amplify our own music, customizable lighting levels around the entire room, and even items to wear in the room. Truly, this is one hotel I cannot wait to go back to! my next trip to Japan will have a short stay in Tokyo but this will be where I return to. Absolute perfection!
I loved everything about the property! if I had to offer one critique it would be that the room service drinks menu wasn’t entirely current. But that’s being very picky.

I cannot recommend K5 enough, the staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable and easy. From helping us print visa stuff for our next destination, to giving us umbrellas when it was raining, they could not have been more helpful. They even waved us off at the door when we left! The room was perfect, the PJs were part of the reason why the second day we couldnt drag ourselves out of bed until lunchtime (that and the jet lag!). I don't normally stay at the same place twice, but if I come back to Tokyo (and I plan too!) then I would definitely stay at K5 again.

The design was the perfect mix of luxury and Japanese modern architecture.
The walls are surprising a little thin, so you can hear the chair above moving or the record player from other rooms. Breakfast, although delicious, was also one of the most expensive breakfasts that I've ever had at a hotel.
