Magnifique

Le gîte 308 est situé dans un jardin magnifique. Les propriétaires ont le souci du détail. Le lit est confortable, la chambre et la salle de bains partagée très propres. Nous pouvions malheureusement ne rester qu'une nuit (sans profiter de la piscine) mais nous recommandons cette maison à 100%. La ville d'Oka est charmante aussi.

I loved that this place was exceptionally clean. Marie was so sweet. She had the place all done up with beautiful lights outside. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it is beautiful. The lake is so peaceful. I would stay here again if I'm in the area. This place is sooo quiet. Tucked away in a quaint little oasis. I have zero complaints. Nothing but great things to comment. I will say and inform ppl that we did have to take a little ferry, which surprised us, but it travels back and forth every 15 min, from 6am to 10pm and it's only 13 dollars. It was completely fine 🙂 it was worth it.

No dislikes at all.

A great place to relax away from the big city noise and stress

Very nice and quiet place to visit, it is comfortable and relaxing, away from big city noise and stress. The hostess is very friendly, welcoming and considerate. I would come back for a longer stay in the future.

I was only transiting through the area and had a very brief stay. The only thing that I did not like was mosquitos close to the lake and the outside air quality due to wildfire smoke, but that had nothing to do with the property.

Great little gem!

Great place to spend a couple of days! Amazing owner, quiet home and walking distance from Oka village and park. Nice swimming pool, owner makes her own delicious bread and is very helpful in helping explore the area.

Nothing. The bathroom is shared but in a "this is a family home" way.

Lovely stay! Our room was very nice, everything was clean & the house and garden full of lovely details. Nice breakfast. Lovely house-cat. :) would come back, its worth a stay!

Our host was very welcoming and arranged gluten free ingredients for a breakfast. The view is breathtaking.

A wonderful stay at a wonderful location.

The host was very welcoming and let me in in the middle of the night - much later than I had planned because of the border delay. The yard has wonderful trees and is adjacent to the river. It has tables with chairs available for the clients to rest in the evening. It's very close to the Oka park.

Nothing, liked everything and am happy to have found such a place. Will stay there again when in Montreal.

It is the perfect getaway from the city. Marie is an exceptional host, she went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The property is beautiful and it exceeded our expectations.

A lovely stay. Wanted to stay longer!!

Marie-Michele is a lovely host. She gives good advice about the 'must see's' and walks in the area. We had a great time staying here. We regret staying for only one night! We enjoyed the view, the breakfast and the house and room were beautiful. It has a great admosphere. We will definitely come back here if we visit this part of Canada again!

Quirky. Friendly. Possibly best in hot sunny weather.

Most friendly welcome and delicious breakfast. Spectacular view across the river, though to get the garden view you have to go into the garden!

Walls a bit thin; no shoes rule in house. Room didn’t have the garden view.

Perfect stay

I think the most interesting and charming experience of our stay in Oka was Marie-Michelle and her Gite le 308. We felt so welcome, and she really pampered us. We arrived late, and there was no restaurant open. She prepared an exquisite sandwich with vegetables from her garden. She also served us carrot cake, home-made of course. What juice do you want with that? Carrot? Apple? Orange? Same experience was expecting us in the morning. The breakfast, along with standard items, was rounded up with home-made things. I thought I ended up in a five-star resort not in a B&B. Then there was the house, the history, the stories, and finally the garden (which includes a mini-swamp, if you can believe that) and the location, everything summed up to an exquisite experience.
