Three couples stayed here in September. The house was well stocked and included Kleenex, TP, spices, condiments, coffee and more and everything you needed for cooking. The inside was very clean and had a beautiful view of the lake. The third bedroom was very small so one of the couples stayed downstairs in the kids bunk beds. It worked because they had their own bathroom but wasn’t ideal. The outside area is beautiful but the needs some tender loving care, especially the decking. The rental agency doesn’t respond but the owner does and is very nice. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good but they had plenty of outdoor equipment to use.

Our stay was great. The property was exactly as described - in fact a bit better. The cleanliness, amenities and ease of use were all pleasantly surprising. The small minor needs we had were immediately addressed by the property manager, Christine. We cannot praise her attentiveness enough. We had a fantastic week.

Great week spent on Torch Lake! Short drive to rent a boat slip in Torch River to keep our boat in the water. This place was perfect for families, well stocked for things to keep all ages busy! Nice outside area by the water or shade on the deck! We’ll be back!

None of the tv remotes work. The shower in the master is so small you can not even raise your arms to wash your hair. The 4th bedroom is in the basement and it is pretty cold down there. Lots of steps.

So beautiful! We definitely want to return during warm/summer months! We enjoyed it not be touristy right now or busy. Close to many lakes, rivers etc for fishing! Loved the beach house even in winter!!

We had a lovely time at this property. More than enough beds and bathrooms, comfy lounge and outdoor area. Great location for what we wanted. Check in was easy and quick.

I really appreciated all the little touches - there were many things available that just made the stay easier and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook while there. The fridge was pleasantly large and very clean. Christine, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and very easy to reach through texts. The kids loved the basement room, since it was like a big sleepover with all 5 of them in different beds (4 bunks and 1 trundle). The view was beautiful, and the bedrooms connected to the deck for easy access!

Wonderful property on Torch Lake. The bunk room in the basement allows the teenage kids to enjoy themselves and not disrupt the younger kids who were upstairs. Having 3 full bathrooms with 10 people was fantastic.

Unfortunately, this property is not photographed properly. Very tattered and worn down! When we arrived at 5:15 the house wasn’t cleaned from the last guests (very dirty)! I contacted the property manager and she did try to contact cleaners. She personally came and told us to leave for 4 hrs. No one gotten back to me from Evolve regarding this matter. Very upset how I was treated! Beautiful Lake though! I would go back but not this property!

We had a one week family reunion - the first one in 24 years where all aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews could attend.
The house on the lake was great.
The lower deck with fire pit was a fun place to hang out at night.
There was plenty of room; we played games and just had fun commiserating.
Great place

This 4-bedroom, 3 full bathroom home was perfect for the three families with kids that stayed a few days. The kitchen and living room were wonderfully appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The bunk room downstairs with its own full bathroom was great for the kids. Everything was clean and neat. We enjoyed the back deck for lounging and sharing meals as well as the lower deck by the lake. Everyone enjoyed the paddle board and kayaks that were provided as well as the evenings making s'mores over the fire pit. Of course, you couldn't ask for a better view of Torch Lake from the decks including a great view of the lake from every single bedroom! Wow! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Unbelievable view of the clearest lake water ever! The house, dock, and host were amazing! Definitely recommend for a great private vacation!

Geat location with a private Torch Lake shoreline area with outdoor amenities galore: kayaks, paddle board, basketball court, bikes and more. I had never seen so many fun board games in a home! The beds were nicely made and decorated with a nautical theme. The bath and kitchen towels were new and fresh and carried the nautical theme, as well. Note: I don't think the pics reflect the updates.
The size of the home was perfect for my husband and the boys. It could easily and comfortably accomodate 2 small families. Oh, and each bedroom has access to 1 of 2 decks and a great view of the lake. The only caveat, my husband is a big guy, so he couldnt use the rv sized shower in the masterbath. He had no problem using the newly remodeled bathroom on the lower level, that had a large shower.
Also, Christine (the best host, ever!), and the owners were very accomodating and available to answer all my questions.
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a large group from little ones to adults and teens. Everyone of us had a blast. Christine was available if needed and the house had every amenity needed/wanted including things like an ice machine along with kayaks and paddle boards...board games...the place even has an Alexa and a Nest.
The beach and the dock And the fire pit are amazing. Couldn't have asked for anything More.

Wonderful 4-bedroom, 3 full bathrooms. Perfect place for our 3 families with kids to stay. Great view of Torch Lake from every bedroom! The kids loved the bunk room in the basement with their own full bath. Well appointed kitchen. Cozy living room. Loved the decks. Great fire pit for s’mores every night. We loved the kayaks and paddle boats on the beach for use. Enjoyed Beautiful sunrises every morning from the deck. Beautiful lake views. Quiet, friendly area. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time!! Kids had a lot of fun on the “mini beach.” House was comfortable and had all the amenities needed for our family! Torch Lake is gorgeous - went to Charlevoix, Elk Rapids and Traverse City while there as well!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved being able to swim and go on UTV rides. The adults love kayaking and bonfires using the beautiful fire pit. We took many excursions to Traverse City and 1 to Leland. My brother really enjoyed being able to use both the gas and charcoal grill. Overall it was a great trip!

Family getaway
We had a fantastic time and the house rental was beautiful. Everything we needed was furnished there and everybody enjoyed themselves immensely. There was only one small drawback and that was the bad smell from the hot water.

So much fun!
This property was beautiful and very well
Maintained. There were board games, floats, kayaks, tents, plenty of kitchen supplies, etc. there is not much of a “beach” but with water shoes all 6 kids (ages 4-13) had a blast (it was also the perfect depth). We fit 6 children, 4 adults and an infant in the house and we were all comfortable. Overall wonderful.

Great Location, Beautiful Views, Much Less Than Expected "Beach"
Do not get me wrong we had a great time mostly because of the company, beautiful views, and great location. We rented this home for a long week and left a few days early. Maybe we got crazy and rented too long or maybe it was our twins that would not sleep. There is no way to give them their own room without sacrificing a room for an adult. The property is listed for 12 people and only has two bathrooms. The master bath is small with a maybe 24” by 24” shower which is ridiculously small compared to my 26” by 10” dad bod frame. The hot water heater is 40-gallon which is appropriate for 2-3 adults not 12. For that many people a minimum 80-gallon tank is necessary. Funny story I had to shut the water off to soap up and once I dropped the soap, I left it on the ground. We lost 7 bars of soap this week. Some say the soap is still there till this day. Joking. Because my wife picked them all up and yelled at me. Outdated kitchen and bathrooms provide minimal but necessary amenities for the week. Kitchen utensils are placed in any available drawer and are not matched with other appropriate utensils leaving you searching until you make your next drink or find some of the loose cigarettes my toddler found. The owner and the maintenance person were extremely responsive and nice. The maintenance person stopped by quickly to replace toilet seats that had broken, replace the refrigerator light bulb, and put batteries in the smoke detector…in the kitchen. Anyway, the abundance of yard games is fantastic, and our daughter loved them. Another significant unexplainable event was the massive number of fruit flies throughout the kitchen and master bath. The refrigerator is undersized for a week of groceries for a family of twelve especially here in the USA where everyone is mostly overweight. But seriously the fridge is not the appropriate size. However, extra coolers solve the issue including the provided cooler that is also not listed in the amenities section of VRBO. I personally think the most significant disappointment was the complete lack of beach. 100 or so feet of beach access to me means I can access the water from the beach. Which you cannot. There is a steep hill and a 4 ft. drop to the water. Water is only accessible from the provided dock. Because the dock access is somewhat steep it is not appropriate for small children (>1 yr to maybe 4) or elderly.

Beautiful view
This house was nice with a beautiful view.
The location was great, peaceful, and perfect for taking a kayak or raft out onto the lake.
Note the entrance to the water is rocks and not sand.. which is the only thing we would have changed (if we could) for the kids.
Plenty of yard games and a big fire pit.
Perfect place to unplug and enjoy the water!
