I will warn anyone to be careful about considering this location. Stay at your own risk

Upon arriving the screen door was stuck open. Reported it and was told it was broken by previous guests. Walking in the door you could immediately smell marijuana, but it really was only in the living room/doorway area. Coffee and coffee pot were provided, but only had sweet and low for sweetener. It was very warm up stairs especially when we were sleeping. Thermostat was programmed and I wasn't sure how to change it. Overall, it was decent place to stay for one night.

Nice place.. wasn't crazy about not having cable tv

The place was really nice but smelled like cigarette smoke and when I contacted the owner she never got back to me about it. It wasn’t the worst thing that could have happened but my husband has asthma and my friend is very sensitive to cigarette smoke

The townhouse in Cary had quite a few issues that was brought to the attention of the property manager:
1. The dishes and dishwasher itself were dirty, requiring us to hand wash everything upon arrival.
2. The washing machine doesn’t work. It fills with water but doesn’t spin and cycle properly, leaving the clothes soaked and dirty.
3. The couch is worn with pieces of the faux leather coming off.
4. At random times, there is a very strong marijuana smell in the home. The property manager placed an air purifier in the kitchen, however there smell continued to permeate throughout.
If you are thinking about renting this unit, please take caution. I don’t want to see another family go through the same issues that we had to endure.

This was a very spacious home that met all our needs. It was very close to great restaurants and shopping, and also not too far from things to do in Raleigh. The bed was very comfortable, and overall we enjoyed our stay! There were a couple of things that were slightly less than ideal during our stay. One was that we expected it to be cleaner than it was. When we got there, there was a wad of used paper towels crumpled up on the front table, the floors were not swept or vacuumed on the first floor, and there was hair on the bathroom floor around the tub that wasn’t from us. Second, there were a couple of times during our week-long stay where we heard the next-door neighbors yelling and slamming doors because we shared a wall with them. It was not at any late hour that this happened, thankfully. But it was a bit distressing at times to hear the arguing and slamming noises. Third, we frequently could smell strong marijuana smells and cigarette smoke from next door that must have come through the vents or something. At times it was almost nauseating. Overall, though, it was a good experience and met our needs for this trip!

Short Story: Easy check in. Spacious Unit. Allergies/Smoke Sensitivity beware. Sketchy 420 friendly neighborhood. Unable to stay, had to leave to hotel.
Long Story:
Check in communication was good, door was kinda broken. During initial check in owner was very helpful and prompt with responses to questions. After dropping our luggage off and heading out for dinner we returned around 10:15 to a strong odor of marijuana inside the unit, probably a neighbor. We alerted host and requested a refund because we were not able to stay with the odor/condition. In the 15 minutes we took to alert owner and vrbo customer help, people in our party experienced headache/contact lens irritation/asthma attack symptoms. The next morning the host responded to our concerns stating they would go by and inspect the unit and contact us by end of day. 24 hours went by and we reached out again to the host requesting an update and a refund. Host was unable to recreate the conditions (in her midday inspection) of odor and did not grant request for refund. There is some cross contamination of airflow between neighboring units, resulting in the unit being a secondhand “hotbox”

this was a great location and a great stay. my host was awesome and couldn’t have been nicer.

I have mixed emotions about this property. The location is fantastic and the host's response times were great. She responded quickly to questions and checked in during the stay. However, the actually property isn't as great based on a few factors. It's a middle unit in a townhouse and the property is quite old. Lots of squeaky floors and very thin walls. The coffee pot was very dirty so we didn't even end up using it. In fact the overall cleanliness wasn't great especially based on the big cleaning fee. The biggest gripe was the water pressure in the only bathroom with a shower. I've never experienced such poor water flow. It was honestly kind of hard to take a shower. If you're not looking to spend a lot of time in the house, then it's a good stay purely based on location. The price is fair based on the size and the age of the unit however, the overall cost wasn't exactly affordable and the cleaning fee is way overpriced based on the size and "cleanliness" of the unit.

The space was amazing. Stayed a week and had a great time using it. Communication with Emily was easy and she made prompt replies. Will definitely be using it again.

Shower had basically no water pressure, mattress topper falling off bed, walls are paper thin (we heard every breath the neighbors took), neighborhood was sketchy, toilets had to be flushed twice, however property was very clean. We did not communicate these issues with the property manager because there was nothing that she could have done to fix them. The listing should have been honest, and it wasnt.

Horrible old neighborhood; neighbors were very loud ; especially after midnight!! Fights, loud voices, and banging noises from them. every NIGHT STARTING AT MIDNIGHT INTO WAY HOURS OF THE MORNING.
No hot water for a day and a half. Had to fix the issue ourselves with the "smart energy device"
Back sliding door was broken; hard to open and relock.
Front door bolt was missing. Place did not feel safe.
Only one towel was hanging in the bathroom for use. Had to hunt and peck in all the closets for more. Not very accommodating or felt welcoming.
Left the establishment early due to an unfortunate accident; tried to get a refund for an early exit; owner wont give one.
Bottom line is this place is horrible; it's nothing as to what the pictures online look like. I highly recommend NOT STAYING HERE. PIECE OF CRAP !!!!!

This was just what we needed, and so restful to be in a clean, tidy, modern townhome. It's closer to all the stores and services on Walnut St, which was also very helpful to us. We would definitely stay again!

Townhouse was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space and fast enough internet for my children to participate in remote school. Great location; easy access to stores and highway.

Delightful townhome
We stayed in the townhouse with our three sons (15, 13, and 10) while visiting family in NC. We had plenty of room to spread out and appreciated having the extra half bath. Hope to stay here in the future.

Cute condo in the middle of everying!
Emily was a pleasure to communicate with. The neighborhood was so close to everything! There are so many restaurants everywhere and Raleigh was only about 30 minutes away. The house was so clean and it was spacious. Anytime I had a question about anything, Emily was only a message away. Staying at Emily's made the weekend a breeze.
