My wife and I, along with my two daughters and grandchildren stayed at the Queen City Cottage for 4 nights. We needed to add an extra day at the last minute and Marissa was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean upon our arrival and entry was a breeze. It's a bedroom, 1.5 bath, with extra bathroom in basement in laundry room. Location wa great! Restaurants and shopping minutes away. Outdoor space was tranquil with table and chairs under covered back porch. Wifi was fine, TV had live channels and Roku for Netfilix and others. House was warm in the cold weather. You do need to climb stairs to get into the house, so if traveling with elderly, keep that in mind. Wasn't a problem for us. Marissa was very responsive to our inquiries, and was a great host.

no safe entry to access. There was no way to get to the front door as it was all grass to the front door and went up a very high slope. The back door, which is considered the best way to entry has a brick walkway that is twisted and has parts broken away with no hand rail to walk up it as well as over grown plants. entry from the driveway is into an unfinished basement you have to climb stairs with unsecured hand rail into the house. From back door you are on a landing that is approximately 18 x 18 and the basement stairs directly at landing. Property is big enough for six people. Futon is in main room and collapsed upon opening. no Roku plug or account to access The house has only window units and we’re not in upon arrival. This is a one bathroom. In unfinished basement toilet in laundry room with no privacy and all exposed walls. Scary. Great stock of towels and kitchen. No working light in kitchen. Owner did not answer when I asked for help upon arrival. Took photos but cannot upload. Disappointed with lack of honesty of property bc it has much potential. Needs work.

Stay alert upon entry or you will end up in the basement. Second bathroom was a toilet in the basement laundry room.

We stayed here while our daughter graduated from college. It was well furnished and very convenient.

Prop Mgr/Owner unresponsive to our safety concerns. Contacted on arrival & STILL no response! Would have worked w/ owner for reasonable resolution, but NOTHING! Only access in has broken uneven stairs & path,no rails -"2nd bathrm" in dirty basement has unfinished walls, floor, exposed pipes & wires & toilet w/no room for legs to sit! Can't be to town building codes Had to walk uneven, unlit dark stairs past piled up junk. Not usable for our child or even adults, especially at nite. VRBO should also address safety issues immediately, be more responsive & help attain a refund for us.

charming little house perfect for a small group. beautiful backyard space as well. host is good communicator.
the half bath listed is a bit quirky; it's somehow the most and least private half-bath i've ever seen. our group enjoyed the space.

Great location. Surprised by the amount of noise from the road throughout the night.

We had a nice stay at this Vrbo. It was easy to get to and get in, communication with the owner was easy. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath all clustered at one end of the house. The kitchen and living space were a good size for a smaller group. There is a great outside space!

Holiday Getaway
A charming house across the road from the golf course and convenient to Poughkeepsie. Not recommended if you want to cook for the family. The kitchen is small with limited dinnerware.

Nice house, plenty of space
The house was very clean and overall we enjoyed our stay. The outdoor space could use more lighting and there seemed to be a lot of beetles everywhere. An additional bathroom would also be great if you are with a bigger group of people. Poughkeepsie itself isn’t worth the trip, but it’s a good house to stay in if you are planning on exploring the area outside of Poughkeepsie.
