This spacious cabin is brimming with entertainment options, from a foosball table and board games inside to a private hot tub and multiple decks overlooking the tranquil forest. Fire up the gas grill for an outdoor feast or gather around the wood-burning fireplace to unwind after a day of exploring. Cap off your evenings around the firepit, roasting marshmallows and stargazing in peaceful seclusion.

As a guest, you’ll also enjoy access to the CARC Membership, which includes a pool, hot tubs, and a fully equipped gym.

While the cabin offers a secluded escape, it's just a short drive to the area's top attractions. Spend sunny days at Deep Creek Lake State Park (six miles away) or hike along the scenic Swallow Falls Trail (six miles in the opposite direction). Whether you’re hitting the slopes at Wisp Resort, enjoying year-round fun, or exploring the charming town of Oakland with its golf course, museums, restaurants, and shops, everything you need for a perfect getaway is close by.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 13 night limit on reservations per local regulations. Reservations over 13 nights are prohibited and cannot be honored.
WiFi is provided, however, you'll have to use WiFi calling in order to have cell service at the home.
Firewood is not provided.
Per HOA restrictions, no alcohol is permitted on the community dock.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great cabin. Would rent again in the future if going to Deep Creek Lake. Weather did unfortunately not cooperate, so could not take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit, though both looked lovely. Lots of towels and bedding/pillows. WiFi worked and plenty of TV’s. Comfortable beds. The only negative was that the water pressure in the main floor bathroom was so slow that it was almost unusable (upstairs and downstairs as well as kitchen was fine). Should be easy to adjust by property owner.

PROS: Beautiful house with LOTS of space. Close to the lake as well. Owners provided some supplies to help get started (trash bags, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper) which was a great help. The hot tub was really nice as well. All beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of bath towels as well (bring your own lake towels) CONS: Would have been nice to have to have instruction for how to get to the lake with their "3 minute walk" (It is down a short walk down the road the house sits on, onto the main road down past a house. Confusing because there is a wooded lot straight in front of the side road that we initially thought we needed to do but still not bad walk, just a lot of stairs so not handicap assess-able) a few remotes did not have batteries, Washer leaked, only one burner on the grill worked, the leaving instructions in the book were not the same that were emailed to us so we ended up having to go back after we left to strip the beds. If I had an option of giving a 4.5 review I would!

This was a wonderful house to rent for our 4 day getaway to Deep Creek with 7 adult family members. The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was spotless inside, there were plenty of clean towels. The beds were comfortable and the master suite was the perfect retreat! The house is located in the woods with a quiet road in front which you could see through the trees. The road did not detract from the quiet setting. We saw a bear the last day wandering through the trees and along the road.

This property was perfect for my sister’s surprise 40th birthday party!! Well stocked and spacious, not to mention super clean. I would suggest bringing more toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. And you really do need 4WD if there is any snow or ice on the ground! We would stay there again!

Rented this house for a short winter getaway from Pittsburgh. Skiing, reading, cocktails with dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the layout of the house, the crackling fires and the quiet feel of the wooden/cabin. Every bed was memory foam quality. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. We’d like to return to this particular property in the future and cannot compliment Vacasa enough for their management!

Nicer than the pictures, this is the perfect house for a getaway. Well apportioned, new, and very clean. We had a great time. Wifi could be spotty at times trying to stream a video, that was the only issue. Loved it!

Great location, good amenities, cabin was clean, roomy with very comfortable mattresses. Had a great family get together with the hot tub and outdoor fire, everyone enjoyed themselves. Only concern was low water pressure when showers were simultaneous.

Our two families had a great time (5 adults and 3 kids). Plenty of space for everyone. Very well-appointed as far as kitchen items, comfy beds, starter toiletries and ample bath towels. Short walk to boat/lake access and close to everything. The dishwasher died during our visit and they fixed it in a jiffy. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!

Two families (four adults and four kids) stayed at this house, and there was plenty of room. House was very clean and well stocked. Hot tub was nice and clean, and was a huge hit. Location was terrific - surrounded by trees and felt private, but a short drive to the slopes. Would definitely stay here again. One note of caution - the listing is serious when it says you need 4WD in the winter. It is a steep, small road to access the house.

Had trouble getting in because we were given a number and then told to hit the “check” which isn’t available. After many tries we found the right code. After each wrong try we had to wait for some time. Not a huge deal but would have appreciated the exact symbol. Everyone enjoyed the house and loved the grounds.

Spent the 4th of July weekend there plus a couple days more. We loved it. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. Was very clean upon arrival. The only downside is that there is no service in most of the rooms and the stairs to go up and down the dock can be challenging for some. Other than that 5 star stay. Definitely recommend!
