Lovely Place to Stay!

The atmosphere was amazing! As soon as we got there we sat by the fire pit and relaxed. It was a wonderful addition to have a s'mores kit available to guests. I indulged and had a couple of marshmallows which I hadn't done in years. The little touches and unique decor was a great thing to add to the overall experience. We took a walk around the little forest area for mini golf and the courtyard. Each area had cute or interesting things to look at. The room was exactly what we needed and the beds were very comfortable!

The only downside was the shower. It was pretty tiny. Keep hitting our elbows on the walls while showering. Unfortunately nothing can really be done about fixing that. But even with the small bathroom it wasn't enough to really bother us. We would gladly stay again!

We will return to this wonder by the Sea.

Great environment Wonderful activities for the entire family. Focus was enjoying our stay there. We loved everything about this hidden gem along the 101 in Lincoln City Oregon. Our only regret was not finding it sooner.

Shower was a little small but understandable as to why.

Anchors Away; a funky cross of ecclectic ocean vibe with amenities for the whole family!

We had an amazing time! I have shared pictures and told everyone I have seen since our stay! We could have stayed much longer, just enjoying the fascilities and family friendly, layed back atmosphere.

I would have loved to have a place to cook in my room but it was definitely not a dislike.

This was the best hotel I stayed at compared to many. I felt like a human instead of an income.

I appreciate that I was treated like a human rather than simply a profit source. The free and open access to laundry facilities and clean towels was very helpful. It was nice to be trusted rather than automatically viewed as a potential criminal.

Will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area

It was a great motel with lots of little extra touches, especially for the kids. Lots of things for the family to do for free including mini golf, a game room, fire pits, and smores package in the room. There was also a restaurant on site. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Wish it was closer to the beach.

Great place, we will stay again when in the area

The fire pits and smores were more than we expected and an excellent way to relax at the end of the day. Everything about this facility was great.

Tammi should not interact with customers

Room was clean and well furnished and the woman, Samantha, who we initially interacted with was absolutely lovely and very helpful! They also had lots of amenities, with free coffee pods you could grab so you didn't need to call the front desk for more, etc.

They have an app-based check-in system that doesn't work; another group checking in at the same time as us had the same issue. They then have a red phone you can use to contact the front desk (which is hidden away in a side room), but that didn't work either. The woman who we finally tracked down, Tammy, who was apparently the manager, YELLED at us that she'd already checked us in. Super aggressive energy, and really not an appropriate way to speak to another human being, let alone a guest of the hotel you're pretending to run. We almost left the property because of it and were prepared to find somewhere else, but thankfully Samantha was there and was very kind. Still, whoever owns this place needs to either hire someone with a bit of sophistication or train Tammy to let her know that you do not abuse your customers. We will never ever stay again because of this and it's too bad, because with some better management it would be a great spot...for now, it has RV park down by the river vibes.

It was a wonderful place for a family to stay!

We loved the common area with the fire rings and play area! The amenities room was lovely! Also the wooded area in back was great!

The games in the game room were all broke! And the chess game in our table in the room was missing parts also!

A very pleasant stay, and a great place for friends traveling together.

lots of character, creative, lovely grounds, food was good, room was comfortable. the outdoor eating/congregation area is

some rooms have very small shower stalls, no room to bend over. this last room had a tub/shower, so room to bend over. Ask for one of these, which make living quarters complete and wonderful.

Wish we would have had more time! So many activities, coffee room and game room! the entire property is so well thought out and accommodating to all families! On our list to come back and stay more to enjoy the facility!
