Stylish hotel with a good price.

Modern hotel with modern rooms and bathroom. Stylish. Amazing a/c. Super nice room staff.

Location wasn't close to any sightseeing in Karachi, drivers didn't really know how to find it. Also, bathrooms were super small, hard to turn around in the shower without knocking something over.

A gem of a place to stay in Karachi

Hotel Excelsior has been a gem of a find. It was such a great place to be in during my 2-week stay in Karachi. The location is fantastic with the Atrium Mall, banks, Paracha money exchanger, eating places and health clinics all at walking distance. The hotel staff will book taxis for you and assist with any requests, all with a smile and no fuss. The hot and cold breakfast has everything and the catering staff were very helpful. I only had a salad in the attached Karachi Brasserie since I was visiting family and friends every day but it has a good menu. The cleaning team (Saima and Talib) dealt with any cleaning requests in an efficient and friendly manner. It was good to see that quality checks were done afterwards. In all, I recommend Hotel Excelsior to all my friends and family now and will book again on my next visit. I wish they would open in other cities in Pakistan. Interestingly, locals in Karachi also commented that the Hotel Excelsior is a great place to stay in terms of the location and rate.

Maybe a small air conditioned gym with a few cardio and resistance machines, some free weights and stretch mats would make this hotel even better especially for business people and regulars.

It was mostly a pleasuring experience for me

The staff was so kind and the hotel was clean, tidy. Also the location is great since it’s in the city center. In addition, Iqbal from the reception helped me with lots of things such as early check-in and taxi service to the hotel

There are 2 points that could be improved. First, there should be hot water in the room shower. Second, the food variety at the breakfast should be increased.

Affordable....great value for money.

The location is ideal and the hotel is located bang in the middle of the shopping hub which includes Bohri Bazaar, Zainab Market, Atrium Mall is opposite the hotel and then ofcourse Clifton area.

Breakfast can be improved....the buffet spread mainly had Desi food. Would be nice to include a variety of cereals, fruits and sausages

The staff was not very professional in handling guests and had to spend 40 mins checking in, the hotel facilities very basic and not enough for a comfortable stay. The bed in particular was very poor along with the breakfast served and the non hospitable staff made me uncomfortable

A good experience

It is a perfect place to stay near the city center. It's value for money and the rooms are nice and well decorated.

I think that the Bell Desk is understaffed. It takes a lot of time for Bell Bos to come to the room in the morning to pick up luggage for checkout.

Amazing property

The hotel location is very good everything is walking distance. The staff are amazing very friendly I cant remember everyone's name that made our stay comfortable. Rabia, Usman, Riyaz, mona lisa, akib and not to forget the management Ayaz Khan it was a pleasure to meet him we had a lovely chat and heard the story of the hotel. Also the restaurant Karachi Brasserie had some delicious food and cant fault it, staff were very accommodating. I will definitely recommend Hotel Excelsior and will be back soon insha'Allah.

Towel and bedding can be looked at as some have stains. Although they are clean and smell fresh.

Great option to consider

Mona Lisa was super accommodating, she was very sweet and addressed all our queries. She got us the room to our liking and compensated us for the vehicle they sent us for airport pickup. The room we got was spacious, and easily accommodated 3 people. The hotel was newly built, though small, but everything was new, neat, and super tidy. Reception is 24 hours which again is a plus, as they try to address all issues as soon as possible.

The wifi was very bad. Breakfast options are very limited, could easily improve and increase variety.

It is one of the best hotel i stayed in Central Location City Karachi. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the Staff. All the front line staff at Reception Specially Mr. SAFDAR and the whole team of the Hotel are working hard to Exceed Customer Expectations. All the Staff are incredibly helpful and generous with their Exceptional Customer Service will surely come back again. Great stay, but a little over my budget.

The location was central and very convenient. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Adding seasonal fruits to the menu could certainly increase its value.

Except for a menu of the hotel's food service, no information was available within the room about the hotel and its facilities for the guests.

Good but over priced for such type of service.

The floor in the bathroom was not clean. There was strong smell in the room, after complains they just put aroma spray as a solution. Without changing room. Restaurant service was very slow.

I have never seen the ridiculous and cheap management in all my hoteling life as they have. They seriously are cheap and ridiculous, I booked this property on booking.com went to reception and due to some reasons I didn’t check in, lobby was smelly, room that I visited were smelly, I started exploring new options on booking.com while waiting in the reception lounge, after almost an 40 minutes, I requested them a glass of water, they said I should use restaurant we don’t serve water to outsiders. How ridiculous this behaviour is, you don’t serve glass of water to a guest who came to your property after a long drive of 20 hours from lhr, seriously bycott this poor and cheap people,

Very Happy and pleased with our stay

Utrolig rare og hjælpende, hele vejen rundt. Renlig og sikker. Very helpful staff, best recommendations from us. Clean rooms and bathrooms, everything you need is in the Room. Comfortable beds and good Air conditioning. The restaurant Karachi Brasserie provided excellent gourmet dining.

Breakfast items could be better with more variety. Would have liked an extra step outside the entrance

It was very clean.

Fruit basket otherwise free has been charged. Even plates asked were charged. Only MS saiba was thorough gentle and helpful lady gave us extra care.

1. The bed sheet had stains 2. Extremely poor behaviour by staff at checkout. Heres the story, I checked in at 11pm, slept and woke up to leave early at 9am. The lady at the reception told me they are going to check the mini bar. I said okay, you can because I haven't had anything from there. She called someone at that floor and he told the lady that I had consumed lays and 2 cans. I was told very politely that she should check again and match with the list. Why would I lie about that. They did not have any method to check or a list to verify from. She kept blaming me and it felt as if I was a thief. It was very disrespectful. Ultimately their manager came and they took it in writing that I had not used the mini bar. I told them if I had not left the room, and they think I have used the minibar they can easily find the leftovers. Never faced such disrespect from any hotel of this sort in Karachi. Very poor

Overall it was a good experience

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was very cooperative. They provided me the room of my own choice. Breakfast is fine too

The bathroom could use some touch ups as the shower area is very congested, Also there were issues with hot water supply

I always stay at this hotel due to the very good service provided by the team and all the facilities are excellent. Whenever I asked for any extra item like power extension board, iron, extra tissue box or small drinking water bottles they were quick to provide and mostly free of cost. Satisfied so far

Overall experience was good. The staff was very friendly and cooperative.
