Front beach
Location of the villa is far from the main beach resort. 5mins away if you will walk. It is so hard to call the hotel attendant, I need to call via mobile then they will inform the hotel attendant to assist us but it takes so much time.
Not air conditioned room. It says on the posting that it is air conditioned but there is fan only.
No complimentary water and glass to use.
Not secured. No security guard on the main gate of the villa and on the gate of the beach. Anyone can enter the gate.
Beach is swimmable but it is not white sand. Don’t expect too much on the beach because it is with stones not white sand.

The place is cozy and aesthetic! They are nice and accommodating.
We don’t feel safe, since there are other people who are not staff that bugging us while we’re staying. We only have one staff that can accommodate which made us worry in case something happens.

I liked that the staff DANICA helped us with our needs, very helpful. I liked that it's in front of the beach and closed to Amami restaurant which serves very good food!
It is next to another resort that has videoke and sometimes plays loud music. I hope also there will be a kitchenette and a grill outside, so guests can cook since its a bit far from the other restaurants.

Spacious up and down rooms. Beachfront. Accommodating staff. Privacy. Accessible to tourist spots when using a motorcycle.
Limited choices of breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a serene beach resort that truly embodied tranquility. The rustic charm of the surroundings, coupled with the soothing sounds of the waves, created a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.
The staff's friendliness was exceptional, making me feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch to the experience, elevating the stay to a memorable level.
The resort's culinary offerings were a delightful surprise. The food was not only delicious but also showcased local flavors and fresh ingredients. Each meal felt like a culinary journey, complementing the overall ambiance.
Overall, this quiet and beautiful beach resort provided a rejuvenating retreat, where the combination of rustic charm, friendly staff, and delectable cuisine made it a truly enchanting getaway.
That I couldn't stay longer

The location, next to the ocean, is ideal. Quite surroundings, and friendly and helpful staff.
The bungalow is a 5-10 minute walk from the main property and a 10-minute drive from White Beach which is where the nearest restaurants and shops are located. No wifi (a blessing and curse). Restaurant had a limited menu when we visited.

This review is for the bungalow only. The bungalow is very simple, facing east. Basic built out of bamboo/wood. It has 2 floors, with a rerrace on each floor. Sit and listen to the waves..enjoy the view. No TV, no AC, fan only. It has a hot water shower, a small fridge, and a kettle. The bungalow is on the beach. 30 feet away from the waves. Go out on the sand after 10 ft walk.!! Gorgeous setting. At night, watch the fishermen go out fishing. If the tide is low, you can walk to White Beach. There are small grocery places up the road, baked goods place to the left as you go out, and small food place to the right. Of course, Amami has its own restaurant a bit away. There are mosquitoes nets on the beds, but take mosquitoes repellent before you go. If the simple stay doesn't suit you, book a room in the villa on the same property behind the bungalow. It has much better/good amenities with the same views. There is an excellent facilities caretaker on the grounds. It is overall very good place and I highly recommend it.
I liked the simple and basic bungalow. Some people may not like it. Choose before you go. Villa? Or bungalow? VIlla? Or bunglow?? ..choices..choices!
3.7
it's private and has its own beach
it has a dining area for guests with complimentary water and coffee
I also love the staff, they are warm and friendly
it's quite a walk from the resto but very manageable

Very nice and very private place. Very calm place.
Can cook food all you want.
Expensive trike fares going to tourists spots. Not travel friendly for those travelling without vehicle.
A little bit far from the famous white sand beaches.

We liked the style and the spaciousness of the villa. The living room and the veranda were great spots to lounge and relax together. It was definitely a plus that the rooms were all soundproof. The kitchen and their fridge was also big enough. Their kitchen was close to complete. We only needed to bring our own big knife, condiments, ingredients, and our espresso machine. It was a great idea to rent out all of the three rooms to have the whole villa for ourselves.
What we liked the most was the location. Definitely no oil spill in sight. The water is perfectly clear here and smells good. It must be because the surrounding area wasn't crowded. The water was a bit murky at white beach and Luca's, but not in front of Amami Villa. So, we swam all morning until 11 AM while it was high tide. There was a good sandy stretch of beach where we mostly swam in and there were minimal rocks underneath. The rocks were smooth so it wasn't so much of a problem but they could still improve this by relocating some of the rocks and stones at the shore to reveal more of the white sand underneath. A lot of the rocks were pretty so we took some home.
Danica, the in-house staff was easy to reach out to and took care of all our requests. Their villa is reasonably priced and we might go back. We also liked how Filippo helped us with our booking. Overall, it was totally worth it to spend the time to ride the ferry to reach this destination and spend a bit more to stay there for three nights.
The beginning of the ramp going down to their parking spot was too high and scratched the underside of our Innova. They explained that it was to keep the water out when it rains. We think the car is still okay but it would be nice if they put two ramps for the tires to help vehicles avoid that steep part.
There were some sea urchins on the beach. Good thing some of us brought goggles. It wasn't all that bad because they were only at the rocky parts and they were pretty to look at together with the various corals, fish, and seaweeds. We just made sure to avoid them and that was so easy because the water was perfectly clear. We still enjoyed the beach and would go back.
They could also improve the bedding and towels. Some looked old and needed replacing.

I like the villa but unfortunately when Electricity is gone we spend whole day nothing water, electricity even fan is gone . So dissapointed.
Whole day we spend no electricity, no water, either fan is gone . So dissapointed and toilet looks old .

Villa is nice but when electric is gone no water, no fan either so disspointed but some day is nice .

We loved the location it’s not crowded - it’s beach front property just 2 mins walk from the bungalow.
The staff are difficult to reached. The resto is a bit off from our accommodation, if you request to deliver the food in the room they charged 100 pesos as delivery fee. The food serving is small. We order 4x sinigang and they deliver it in plastic, and no bowl. The bungalow doesn't have AC - pls make sure to double check before you book to avoid disappointment.

beautiful beach view
no restaurant near by

Staff are very responsive and helpful; specially Danica.
They very quick on responding on our text/ questions.
Also the pizza from the restaurant was great
Some areas of the house like rooftop are not clean.
3.7
The beach in front of the house and the services
Should be clear in the description that to access the restaurant we should walk around 400m by the beach or around 700m by the road. If it is raining is more difficult. The way to go there is very dark so we need to use a flashlight to walk.

Staff , Private location , Private Beach
Sewage type of smell coming from the toilet

The Staff are brilliant! Jam, thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality and Hem, 😁 of course the amami beach resort staff, Tin who made my perfect margarita, jaz for my lovely mango mojito. the food was amazing! my son loved all the food we ordered.. thank you to amami villa staff Ms. Danica for preparing our room and for being comfortable with me, i felt like we knew each other for long time😃 cant name all the staff who has been wonderful during our stay. I love the quite location, the exterior design is very nice but could still get better.
i cant think of something, if i put up the amount i’ve paid, it is a good value. Well ok, the front beach was blocked by another property reason you cant see the beach direct from AMAMi resort, would be good to change some of the plumbing equipment in the bathroom as mainly the shower heads, the room i stayed there was cozy, just the shower functionality and water pressure has to be checked. In AMAMI villa, it definitely needs some exterior decorating like hanging lights on the trees, would make the place more pleasing at night and makes u want to stay outside. Nothing to complain that made our stay uncomfy,
3.7
it’s huge
supposed to be a private place but they’ve added a hut in front which they’re also renting out. the staff said they’re building additional huts at front of the property

location and it's privacy
*can't use the TV, not working.
*unreachable the staff, we called many times but no immediate response. It takes overnight for them to respond.
*no water supply during our last day. It's hassle for us to go to another available room just to take a bath.
*expensive food and taste doesn't fit the price
*late check in. They only clean our rooms when we arrived.
*Missing items in the inclusion of our booking such as, hair dryer, shampoo, soap and other toiletries.
*Flush is not working in Queen suite.

The place was beyond our expectation. Beach front was right outside the garden, and it was not too populated. It seemed very private. We will definitely stay at Amami Beach villa again when we go back to Puerto Galera. Staff were very accommodating, and you can have food delivered to the villa from their restaurant. Overall, the stay was amazing.

Having access to a kitchen was a life saver. Management was very friendly!
We enjoyed all of it!
3.7
Peaceful surrounding, with privacy
Poor housekkeeping (sticky floor, smelly bathroom, dirty lavatory), itchy couch, mosquitoes inside, low water supply in the bathroom coz no water pressure , super thin blanket, bedsheet is too old that it looks like so dirty✌✌✌ the surrounding is messy, sweeping and weeding is badly needed🙂
3.7
Location
There was a foul smell comung from the bathroom inside our room and water pressure was very low

I like how accessible the beach is to the house. It was really what we wanted. Amenities were also complete. It would be a good place for a family as well.
When i had problems with my booking, the staff was very accommodating and answered all my queries. The food was also good.
We had problems with the booking but we managed to come up with a solution.
The driveway was a bit steep.
