Our family loved the access to the water! We had a blast playing and fishing on the lake. We also appreciated the ease of check in and the quick response from the host to any questions or issues we had.
We knew that this was a cottage or camp so did not expect something fancy or super modern. It fit our needs very well.

Loved this spot. The lake was beautiful. We had a wonderful time even though the weather was bad a few days. The cabin was so cute and decorated very nice. The kitchen was stocked well. We had everything we needed. Loved hearing the loons at night. It wasn't too far from Camden that we visited frequently. I hope to come back there some day.

This is an adorable cottage. Slept all 6 of us easily. Very small, but does the job. While not the cleanest of homes, its character and setting are fabulous.
The host was wonderful. Responsive and helpful! Even let us use their paddleboard on the lake. Made for some lovely family memories.
The only "hiccup" was over laundry. Although the description says that there is coin operated laundry on the property, there is not. There is a laundromat a couple of miles away, with limited hours. It worked for us, but definitely misleading.
Otherwise, this was a wonderful place to vacation and I would book this home again!

Although it rained all weekend we enjoyed a very comfortable stay and visit with friends. All the comforts of home in a lil camp. Being lakeside is a perfect way to relax. Thank you so much

This charming cottage set right on Sennebec Pond is conveniently located in Union with easy access to the surrounding coastal towns. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for when we cooked with what we found at the nearby Beth's farm stand... don't miss their strawberry shortcake! We enjoyed the sounds of the loons in the evening while making s'mores over the fire pit.

My wife and daughter had a wonderful stay here. The property was exactly as depicted in the description and photos. It was exceptionally clean upon arrival and provided a very comfortable stay. We were able to cook breakfast easily and ate it with a lovely view to the lake. The Common Market grocery nearby was excellent and provided us not only food, but a recommended local mechanic when we had a bit of car trouble. All in all a great vacation...

Quaint, clean, lovely accomodations and everything in kitchen we needed to make a royal breakfast. We had just come off a schooner sailing trip and we're missing our bathroom and shower. Indeed, home sweet home! Recommend!

We rented this cottage for a couples weekend with friends. The home was perfect for us as it had three bedrooms so we could each have our privacy but yet be together. Having been life long friends who usually camp together we wanted a place with a few more amenities than a campground. This was the place. The lake side house had everything we wanted, waterfront access, fireplace, outdoor dining and quietness.
From a day of kayaking, to watching the bald eagle fly across the lake, to sitting around the fire pit at night it was quiet and tranquil. There is nothing like listening to the sounds of loons calling each other across the lake.
We have marked this place as one we would definitely come back too.

Best of both worlds-lake and ocean!
We really enjoyed our stay at this lake cottage--It was perfect for our needs! It was very clean, and the cottage had everything we needed to make it a memorable trip (great views of the lake where we were able to dock our 14 foot boat). Additionally, comfortable beds and couches, fully equipped small kitchen, firepit sitting area outside). What my family enjoyed most was the quietness of the area, great fishing and sunrise/sunset viewing from the deck. Also, it was a really easy 10-20 minute drive to Camden/Rockland/Rockport for the ocean beaches, dining and shopping. Owner was very easy to communicate with to answer any questions we had about the area. We would love to rent again next year!

Best of both worlds
This was a fantastic rental for the type of vacation we were looking for. As a graduation present for our son who loves to fish, we were able to keep our 14 foot boat right on the dock. Great fishing and boating on this beautiful lake! The lake house was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we were looking for. Gorgeous views of the lake, quiet area, nice place for an outdoor fire. What I enjoyed most was that we were able to have peaceful days on the lake and then drive only 10-20 minutes to Camden, Rockland and Rockport for the ocean. We really enjoyed shopping/dining by the ocean! Couldn’t have asked for a better Maine vacation. Having both the lake and the ocean together in one trip made for countless ways to have fun. My boys and I would love to rent this property again next year!

Great place to stay!
Our group of five loved this cabin—it had everything we needed amenities-wise and plenty of space to hang out in the living room. Would echo other reviews to read the fine-print about not being able to drink the water—we made it work, but something to note before booking. The stove is also an older model and could be updated—was not the easiest to work with when we cooked-in, but the mini-splits were great for staying cool on the hotter days, and the lake is beautiful.
Overall super quiet, restful place to stay, and conveniently located if you don't mind driving 25 minutes to Camden or Owl's Head.

Peaceful and quiet, about what we expected
We were quite satisfied, quiet and peaceful, a bit out of the way. Overall met expectations and would recommend. Everything worked and the place is quite well stocked. However the bathroom toilet and shower is quite a cramped space, not going to work for big people. Also, read the fine print and bring your own drinking water.
