This place was an excellent stay. The top features of this place is a little beach perfect for kids to play at, a paddle boat and a canoe that was there during our stay, and the great house with wide open windows that allow for excellent views and feeling you're in the middle of nature. This location is secluded and very naturey, at the end of a 5 minute drive on a dirt road to reach the lakefront. The kitchen has excellent appliances.

Positives- House and property had plenty of room for our reunion to be together while being able to spread out when needed. Large porch was perfect for quiet moments, sorting fishing tackle and still had room to enjoy the rainy days we had. Location was also close to many area attractions. There were a few instances I reached out to homeowner and he was quick to respond. Also, great campfire space, volleyball court and extra outdoor stuff provided by homeowner.
Negatives- Evolve took days to respond to our early emails. The responses did not address our questions. (We just waited for homeowner to email us closer to first day). We also had to do some light cleaning that was missed. Home info was out-of-date for trash pickup which caused some confusion.
There is something magical about NH sunrises/sunsets over the lake while listening to the Loons. Overall a positive experience. Definitely 5-Star recommended. We will return again for sure. Thank you!

My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The house was spacious and clean and plenty of room for our group of 11 people. The 25 acre property was very private and the beach and dock on the lake was endless fun for everyone. The kids loved swimming to the raft, fishing and paddlbiarding. We loved gathering around the fire pit each night as well. We had a wonderful, peaceful retreat at this stunning property.

Beautiful lakefront cabin. Very spacious. Teenagers loved the volleyball court and paddle boarding. Adults and kids enjoyed the swimming. Water very easy to get to. Great place for family bonding. Many nice places to visit in surrounding area. Owner and cabin manager very pleasant. Would go again.

Wonderful place. Very peaceful. Lots to do on the property and in the surrounding area.
Wonderful family vacation. Loved the cabin, scenery, and lake. We all swam, boated and played a lot of volleyball. We also did some cool hikes and other touring in the area. The cog railroad up Mt Washington was great, and we hiked the Lost River trail. Teenagers (6 of them, ranging from 13-20) were never bored and want to go back, as do the adults. Owner was very willing to communicate with us, and made our stay very easy.

Perfect Lakefront Vacation
We needed to unplug and reconnect and this lakefront home allowed us to do just that!
The grandkids enjoyed swinging in hammocks and watching boats go by! They swam off the dock and from the beach to the swim platform. The dock was my serene morning yoga studio!
We put the kitchen to full use cooking meals together and enjoyed the outdoor dining table. The fire pit got lit every night!
The bedrooms were all comfortable especially with the lake breezes coming thru the open windows.
We enjoyed outings to all the local attractions as well as the Polar Caves, Mount Major hike and The Castle in the Clouds.
Our favorite meal out was at The Common Man in Ashland.
Todd was very helpful in sending pre check in info and answering questions.
We hope you enjoy your vacation here as much as we did!

A secluded getaway
Driving through the woods we arrive at an awesome updated residence. The property was very private and perfect for a long overdue get together for long time friends with no worries about disturbing neighbors. Upon arrival the house was impressive with a nice covered porch. The inside was modernized, very clean and with a well supplied kitchen with a center island and a table that seated 10 people comfortably. The outdoors, even for being secluded in a wooded setting, was well maintained with a volley ball court, outdoor shower, a small private beach with a swimming platform and canoe that the owner graciously allows the use of. There was a small and a large camp fire pit that allowed for an intimate campfire or a family and friend get together. The owners were very gracious and if we had any questions they always responded fairly prompt. They made our vacation very pleasant. We all agreed we hope we'll all be able to return in 2022.

Great but....
The house was perfect and well described. Well equipped. Beautiful views from fabulous porch. Two dishwashers turned out to be one dishwasher and one trash compactor. Beach was disappointing and not really a beach. Canoe available but no life preserver so was not useable. Biggest drawback was the dirt road and driveway which is lengthy and requires an SUV and limited our desire to easily leave property to explore the area.

It was a great house, especially for our family. The children loved the third floor.
Again the house was perfect for us. Wonderful water activities, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. It was perfect.
Communication with the homeowner was also very smooth. He got back to us promptly and answered all questions. He was genuinely interested in our having a good time.
EVOLVE, the property manager was difficult. They were slow to respond, slow to answer questions. They were very slow with a COVID alternative. Furthermore they have a NO REFUND policy for deposits. Other VRBO houses we have stayed at gave deposits back up to 30 days before checking in.

Beautiful secluded house on Pemwegasset Lake
The property was fantastic both inside and out. Everything anyone could want. The only negatives were the company that managed it , Evolve , and Maid in the Lakes - the local contact. They were worthless. The owner was wonderful and responsive , however we were not able to contact him directly until we arrived.
