We absolutely loved how much room there is to spread out or all gather together. The decks, the gorgeous huge yard & tennis court/basketball court is amazing for getting out energy & letting kids run! We appreciated that the kitchen had everything we would ever need to cook or bake & really loved not having a huge check out list! We will 100% try to rent this house again.

The house and grounds are lovely and very-well kept. Lots of space. Plus very convenient to grocery store, the beach, the redwoods, and city life.

Six of us spent 4 nights here. Took advantage of the great outdoor space and BBQ. House is well equipped and game room was fun even for adults! Plenty of room to spread out and privacy with multiple bedrooms. Neighborhood is great - quiet and centrally located to visit eureka, Ferndale, Trinidad, Prarie creek redwoods and Fern Canyon (with reservation). I would rent again when up that way.

This place has everything! My entire family loved everything about it! Starting from the spacious cozy rooms to the tennis courts! We’ve never had a more enjoyable vacation. Something for everyone to enjoy. The beach is minutes down the road. The sun comes out but you get the cool ocean breeze all day. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your paradise with us.

House was clean and comfortable on the inside, the outside BBQ area was awful, would not use it at all.The wooden walk aways are in terrible condition, handrails will give you splitters if you use them for support. House siding in front is torn off and laying on the lawn by the side deck. Enjoyed the tennis/ basketball court. We left the property at 7am, didn't know we were supposed to report our time of departure.

Our stay was so fun! There was room for everyone and the house is quirky-cool and comfy. We loved walking around the neighbourhood. We saw goats! chickens! Red lizards! Friendly, fluffy doggos. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The beds are cozy and the shower on the bottom floor is the bee's knees. Best. Shower. Ever.

Great location close to everything in a quiet neighborhood. .. great house for our large family. kids and inlaws. Plenty of things to do for the kids plus space for people to relax and get away from the main commotion of the house. The outside kitchen was a nice perk. The BBQ grills were amazing.

My family and I have stayed at this house for many years, and have always loved it! We were so excited to see it back on VRBO. Property is plenty large, lots of space for everyone to hang out together or take breaks as needed. Lots of outdoor space, although it was poor weather while we were there. We really appreciated that we didn’t become inundated with rules and/or procedures to exit—we could arrive, take care of the property, pack up and leave without extra stress. Everything was well kept and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Too many stairs for seniors & house could use some updating. Great location.

The house is nice overall. The wallpaper/drapes/carpets etc are dated. It has everything needed for a short stay and is perfectly comfortable. That said, the windows all need screens particularly the 'balcony" bedroom. It gets hot (even on 70 degree days). Opening the window to let in air also lets in flies. Also, it would be good to have some alternative bedding for hotter days when a big duvet is too much.

Lovely House and Grounds. We had some trouble with internet hookup though, ie, spotty for some of us. Also some windows lack screens and various other relatively minor issues which will hopefully be fixed. All in all a very nice place to stay.

My family of 3 and my brothers family of 4 stayed at the house for my cousins wedding in town. This property worked out perfectly for us. There was enough room for everyone. The little kids loved the game room and the older kid loved that there was a tv in his room. Everything was clean and comfy. Check in and out was a breeze. All our family who stayed at hotels in town were jealous of our accommodations. I would definitely stay again.

We had the best time at the Grren House (nicknamed by my grandchildren) in Mckinnleyville. There was so much to do at the house games for the adults and children a short drive to the town and beach and very private. It was clean and we loved it. Would definately go back. My granddaughter didn’t want to leave she cried for 15 minutes

We enjoyed the house, the property and the town. Only problem was the master bed & bath for someone who walks with a cane. Bed way too high and bath slippery when floor gets wet. The stairs to get to another bedroom was not an option.
Not enough plates, glasses & silverware for 6 people.
They could go to Goodwill even and buy some more sets. We had to do dishes after every meal.
Also used 1 of the laundry pods that were supplied and it ruined 4 different white/light colored shirts. Don't know what was in it. Should bring your own just in case.
We really loved the outdoor kitchen and cooked 4 meals out of 6 on it.
The weather was warmer than we anticipated which was a nice surprise.
6 Rivers Brewery at the bottom of the hill had good food and beer!! Very different but good shrimp po'boys.
If you bring a dog or have kids, watch out for the skunk. We actually saw her twice in the back yard, once with her 2 babies!
There were a few cobwebs and dust, but on the whole things were clean.
So many things to do in the area. We drove to the Ave. of the Giants and enjoyed the giant redwoods. Also went to Agate Beach and hiked to the beach, what a hike! Nice beach though!

Spacious comfortable home for our family reunion. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and outdoor kitchen was a plus. Beautiful landscape and views. We will be back.

The property is great but not well designed for older folks because it is split level. The upstairs bedrooms were good. The downstairs was hard to heat so in order to get the downstairs warm you ended up overheating the upstairs. The master bedroom bath had issues. The shower doesn't have a door, so it was hard to keep from getting water on the bathroom floor which made it very slippery. You had to jiggle the toilet handle after flushing or the toilet would run. It was our 60th wedding anniversary and a family gathering, and we enjoyed our time there. We would stay again but it would be better in the warmer months when you can enjoy all of the amenities.

Loved the area. The house was perfect for our daughters birthday. Beds are comfy.

This is a wonderful home with plenty of room for the entire family. We had a family reunion here and everyone had a great time. The outdoor kitchen really makes the space feel even larger.

If you plan to stay at this house in the summertime, be sure to bring floor fans since there is no AC and the property management doesn’t provide any. The windows are difficult to open and many of them don’t have screens on them, so plan on lots of flies when trying to cool the house down.
There were six of us and not enough silverware without having to wash some before each meal. Overall, the kitchen is not well stocked.
The living room furniture is old and not very comfortable for those that have bad backs. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen bed while the back bedroom has a king, which makes no sense.
The view of the ocean is minimal, but could be better if some of the bushes were shorter. The lawn was mostly weeds and there were weeds growing out of the gutters and up through the deck.
The ventilation fans for the outdoor kitchen have mold all over them. We had to place a rock under the small refrigerator on the deck to make it level to allow the door to be opened better.
Overall, this place needs a lot of TLC.

The house was large and took care of three couples and one single as we motorcycled through the Redwoods. Would be great for families as well.

The property was perfect for our group, we loved the house, the area and the neighborhood. However the day we were scheduled to arrive we got a message that the dishwasher was broken, then we got a message that the freezer on refrigerator was also broken and that they had moved in a small second fridge for us to use for ice. The message said that we would get a 25$ a day rebate for the days it was broken. Then we found out the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms was broken. The repairman for the fan arrived mid-week but neither the fridge or dishwasher was fixed during our week-long stay. I've tried to contact Vacasa about the rebate but have received no answers.

Beautiful neighborhood, lovely property and great location for our needs!
My son was getting married at nearby winery- this home was a great space for us to shuttle back and forth in preparation for the big day!
Thank you for hosting us- your home was terrific!

Based on the grandchildren alone (ages 2 and 5) I must give the Estate 5 stars. They were enthralled with the kid-size video game console. The tennis/basketball court was great for their bikes and the adults had some exciting BB games too. In fact, the awesome property manager, Joanne, even bought a new basketball for us when we couldn’t find on the property. It was great to have so many bathrooms and spacious bedrooms for everyone.
The kitchen was well stocked with all you need to make meals and keep it clean too. We probably didn’t get around as much as we could’ve because we were all having so much fun at the house! Also, thanks, Vacasa for keeping in touch so well in every step of the process.

There is enough room for everyone to
Have space at this rental. It was clean, organized, and local management was responsive when I needed a coffee grinder. Thank you for a fabulous weekend with my family! We hadn’t seen each other in a while!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. We chose this home because it has as nearly as many bathrooms as bedrooms. One of the "bathrooms" downstairs is only a restroom. The pictures on webpage are very accurate for the most part. If you're going for the ocean view, don't expect much. Basically can only see ocean on clear day from the upstairs bathroom window.
The outdoor area is great. Loved the tennis court! The stairs are uniquely situated making it seem mystical. Outdoor kitchen is nice.
Of course every place is not perfect and if you plan to do a lot of cooking like we did then you may wish to take kitchen towels and washcloths. Otherwise the kitchen is well supplied with cookware and dishes.
We had an issue with the freezer not working well. When we contacted Vacasa they responded almost immediately. Very friendly customer service. The house was very clean and there isn't a long list of chores to do at checkout. Definitely hope to come back sometime.

Great stay!
The house is wonderful. Tons of space and a beautiful yard. It is in a great neighborhood. It was a very comfortable home that was perfect for a family. The tennis court was the cherry on top.
The property manager was very good at providing helpful and timely communication/instructions.
I would definitely recommend this home. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!!!
I would stay here again!! My toddler loved all the whole house! They had great stuff for kids, the yard and tennis court were her favorite. The outdoor kitchen was great, we wish we could of ate outside but it was cold.
I only had two issues and they were minor, one I wish they had a smart tv or Netflix. The satellite TV was dated, it was hard to navigate, but honestly we only had time for a movie, we were to busy exploring the beautiful area.
Then I’m sure this is vacasa who supplies the toilet paper but 1-ply?? I know that seems like a strange thing to complain about but when your staying at a nice place you’d expect better quality items. Like I said it won’t effect the rating just something I noticed.
