Best location downtown

We were in town for a service being held at the community center, so the location was perfect. The beds were really comfortable and when we struggled a bit with the code to the door we had immediate help.
We really enjoyed our stay!

We were in Jacksonville for a family wedding. Duncan Cottage was the perfect location for exploring Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Great restaurants nearby. Cottage was clean and inviting. We felt right at home with the 50s vibe.

This is a comfortable, old-style cottage in a wonderful location. There is a nice backyard with patio set and bbq. The shower isn’t set up for tall people and the very old dishwasher wouldn’t work. We had a nice stay in Jacksonville

Rental process went smoothly. House was easy to access. Parking space as advertised. Quiet neighborhood except if there is a fire as it is near the fire station. That did not bother us but once. Kitchen was pretty basic but it had everything we needed. Would recommend.

Quaint
This property is simple and quaint, it was just what I required with 2 bedrooms so that my grandchildren could take turns staying over, they loved it's coziness.
It had everything needed for a lengthy stay!
I hope it will be available for my next visit!

Very comfortable, pleasant stay
A very comfortable lodging, in a great location. Very god WIFI along with a gas barbecue in lots of space made for a pleasant 2 month stay. The owner who lives next store is very helpful and friendly as is Deanna the host.

Cozy cottage- great location
We’ve been in this comfortable 2 bedroom for a month. It’s well appointed with a cute back patio and a barbecue grill which we used nightly. We enjoyed excellent hiking right out the door. Internet speed was a reliable 40bps, more than what is required for movie streaming. The cottage is structurally sound and is in a great location in the center of the village, just one block off rt 238, so it’s quiet. The owner is next door is very accommodating and the host Diana is always promptly available.

Property needs a thorough cleaning
Property is well appointed and everything works. Cleanliness is a major issue. It is apparent that there has only been surface cleaning for some time. Major dust issues behind furniture that is easily moved, dust under items on end tables, behind doors cobwebs. Major cleaning issues in bathroom. Corners and around shower are filthy. Floors have major squeaks seems like there are foundation issues. Dishwasher works but makes a tremendous amount of noise. Washer and Dryer work well. Outside of cottage needs significant cleaning.

Adorable house, excellent location...couldn't have been better!
We truly loved our stay in this adorable little house! The house had everything we needed for our stay and it was super-clean and comfortable. The house sits one-block off California Street, so we had easy access to great restaurants and shopping. We visit the area regularly to see family, so we will be back!
