Great location with the village literally down the street, looked newly upgraded, clean, private, easy check in and check out, friendly staff and a big living room couch that was so comfortable, I ended up sleeping on it for 2 of the nights.
They said we’d get a door code 24 hours before checkin, but instead, I got a message saying I must check in IN PERSON at their office, which was open from 4pm to 8pm. So I had to rush like crazy, get off work early and speed to try and make it there by 8pm (from San Diego). We got there at 730pm and they were closed, so I called and got a door code…lot of stress for nothing.
Too many repetitive things to read and sign (it’d probably be easier if I just booked it directly thru Vacasa and not Booking.com). The checkout instructions had a few bullet points and did not say anything about taking our trash somewhere.
No firewood, weird powdered soaps/shampoos, no coffee/sugars, etc.
They’re dog-friendly and the ad makes it seem like there’s a closed off backyard, but it’s just partially closed off, so we wouldn’t have been able to let the dogs out without a leash.
I saw a complaint about the blinds that was from a long time ago and they still have fixed or replaced any of them.

This house is really within walking distance to the Village on Big Bear, less than 5 minutes. House is a nice size for 4 adult people. It is stocked with necessities for a short stay. Would rent again.
It needs a few interior fixes, one shade on slider door is broken, better pots and pans with matching lids for cooking and a functional broom. The yard has allot of dirt so sweeping during stay is necessary. The second bedroom needs night stand tables. The yard needs clean up and the driveway needs more rock to fill in several potholes.

There was no breakfast, but the location was very good.
Was told that the office opened at 3:00 pm. Got to the office where a sign on the door said didn't open until 4:00 pm. Waited until 4:15 and called a number that was on the door. An employee called back and said that the office wasn't open and that she would meet me at the house. From that point on the stay was good. I booked through Booking.com website where it gave me the price for the night I agreed and it immediately sent me to a site called VACASA. That where the problems began. When I hit accept there was an extra $175.00 dollars added. I couldn't back out and think this is a scam of a business. By the time we checked in to the house it was almost 5:00 pm and checkout time was 11:00 am the next morning. Didn't give us much time to enjoy our stay. We wouldn't stay with VACASA again.

The location is great, just 2 blocks from a street lined with shops(Pine Knotts Ave). The home itself was nice. Not much on the outside but the inside is modern. The check in/out process was easy. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.
The fridge/freezer makes a periodic popping sound. Its kind of an issue while trying to sleep. The bottom bunk bed makes a lot of noise with movement.

Very comfortable and quiet place, conveniently located within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops at The Village.

The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom had soap. Close to town
The listing said there was laundry on site and there was not. There was trash all over the yard and crumbs in the counters.
We have not been contacted about either of these issues the main reason we booked this place was for the laundry.
You have to check in at another location which is a hour walk away unless you have a car which we did not. We also had to take the trash out which is a mile away from the house.
For $360 it did not meet the standard for such a high priced accommodation.

The location was great, the property was quiet and nice.
Be careful not to come in winter without chains, all the driveway was covered with snow and also the cabin's door, they didn't clean the driveway and we had to park our car almost on the street and walk down to the cabin, we drove more than 2 hours to go to Big Bear and we didn't need chains in the roads, only you will need chains to access to this driveway because the owner didn't send nobody to clean ( this is funny), the power was out many times and one whole afternoon and next day we were without power in half of the cabin, the tv didn't work for a day. At night everytime the cars drive outside, the lights went directly to the cabin's windows, they need different curtains to block these lights. To get the key they gave us a wrong code and it was frustrated.

I had to check in at the office to get the key code and sign paperwork. receiving an e-mail with the code would have been better, along with using an e-signature.

There's a large complex under construction next door. Won't be the same next year😥

Plenty of space and modern decor.
Couch was stained and floors could’ve been cleaner. Don’t think the A/C worked but the fans worked out.
