About this cabin rental
If your dream mountain vacation has the luxury, privacy and high-end amenities of an exclusive resort, but none of the crowds, lines, and noise, you'll find it and much more at Falcon's Lair. Boasting phenomenal 180-degree long-range multilayered mountain views stretching from Georgia to North Carolina and Tennessee, with cathedral ceilings and enormous windows to frame them, this tri-level showplace truly has the wow factor.
High on a mountain just eight miles to the restaurants and shopping of downtown Blue Ridge, the cabin overlooks the Toccoa River, a popular destination for rafting and tubing. The Blue Ridge Railway passes through the valley below, and you can hear the train's whistle as you slow down, unwind, and shed the stresses of daily life at this fabulous retreat.
Constructed of fine woods, live edge siding and natural stone in a contemporary rustic style, the professionally decorated cabin is both architecturally stunning and homey, with a warm, welcoming ambiance that will make you feel instantly at ease. On the main level, the beautifully furnished living area is dominated by a soaring 25-foot wall of windows overlooking the deck and a stone gas fireplace stretching to the ceiling. The 65” ultra-high definition TV is equipped with Blu-ray and DVD player and soundbar. For lovers of retro tech, there's a Victrola replica turntable in the loft above, with a vinyl collection to go with it.
Adjacent the living room, the open kitchen is a cook's dream, with solid wood cabinets, granite countertops, stainless KitchenAid appliances including a gas cooktop and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, an icemaker, mixer, blender, drip coffeemaker, crockpot, toaster and all cookware and serving implements you need. There's room for six at the dining table plus four at the breakfast bar. Or you can fire up the gas grill and dine outside as you take in the view from the deck, enjoying a spectacular sunset. You'll also find plenty of comfortable seating areas, two stone wood-burning fireplaces, a 65” TV, a seven-seat hot tub, and a fire pit to gather around.
For indoor fun, head downstairs to play billiards, cards, board games, cornhole or watch sports or movies on the 55” TV in the game room. It's outfitted with a stone gas fireplace, wet bar with wine fridge and icemaker, and a whimsical rug and pub sign, adding to the playful atmosphere.
At bedtime, you'll slumber in comfort in one of three master suites, one per level, that feature king beds, luxurious bedding, large walk-in closets, 43” TVs and deck access. The main level bedroom has a fireplace and a spa-like private bath with garden tub, shower, double showerheads and seat. All three en suite baths have granite counters, vessel sinks, toilets and showers. A tankless water system provides hot water instantly to the cabin's five bathrooms, which include two powder rooms. Queen sleeper sofas in the loft and game room bring the sleeping accommodations to ten.
Among the other notable features and amenities at Falcon's Lair are WiFi, cable TV, a laundry room, ceiling fans throughout, and a pet-friendly policy. You're welcome to bring up to two small dogs with you as you relax, recharge and enjoy special moments with family and friends on your one-of-a-kind mountain vacation.

The home was lovely but the outdoor area/furniture was very dirty. We really wanted to enjoy the outdoors but it was too dirty to sit out. I started to clean the sofa cushions (tons of bird poop) but my husband made me stop.

Took my nephew and a few of his friends white water rafting over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful cabin here. Well equipped and windows and views for days. Very spacious place.

The perfect home to relax and regenerate. There were little touches, which is a treat. The home is gorgeous and the view, spectacular. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come again.

This beautiful and well appointed cabin was very conveniently located right off route 5, 5 minutes from McCaysville and about 15 minutes north of Blue Ridge. The view out the back of the cabin makes you feel like you’re well off the beaten path but the driveway literally sits just off route 5. The cabin loft and upstairs master bedroom offer spectacular mountain views. The outdoor fireplace with big screen tv make for a very lovely fresh-air binge watching venue. The hot tub was in perfect working order and had no difficulty keeping a constant temp of 104 even in the chilly winter temps that we came to north Georgia for. Outdoor tv remote was inoperable but the rental management company sent someone out stat to problem solve the issue. My only constructive feedback would be to have hooks/towel bars installled in the bathrooms and leave a dozen or so hangers in all the closets. Also, it would good to ensure all the remotes and lights are working in advance as there were several light bulbs out as well. The cabin could use a few more spatulas and grill utensils as well. Would definitely recommend checking this cabin out!

This place is spectacular. We went to look for cabins to build. After staying here, we want this place. It is the most beautiful place in the mountains. What a view, and everything is high end.

Everything was wonderful! Very comfortable cabin for nine adults. The age range of our group was 22-82 and everyone was comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. We hope to come back to Falcon's Lair in the near future.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had everything we needed and more available. Great location and close to all that we did with our children. This place was the perfect place for us and we are already planning for another trip back! Highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful, relaxing home!

The house is welcoming and warm. We had wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday! The kitchen was lacking in measuring cups etc... So cooking was challenging but we still had a great time. The views were beautiful.

First of all the house and lay out and view was incredible! It is unfortunate that our arrival was delayed due to the cleaners still being there. We had no firewood and had to wait 1.5 hours for it, after calls.! Then the hot tub didn’t work and we called and they said someone would be out the next day and gave us a lot of items to try to fix it on our own. We attempted those things and that night they didn’t work and we sent kids to bed very upset, but they guaranteed that they would
Follow up and send someone out the next day, which never happened. Thank God the troubleshooting helped and it was working the next day! Beautiful cabin , views and imenities, however management company needs alot of work!

Cabin was very beautiful, clean and comfortable. Honestly we have never complained about a rental but for the price paid, we would have expected a few things such as, communication that there was going to be LOUD construction of a new cabin next door, LOUD and smoky tree excavation and land clearing just 100 feet in front of house deck, scheduled NOISY firewood drop off at a time other than 6:45 am, hand soap dispensers in each bathroom. Updated furniture and just a few other things. Again, the cabin overall was very beautiful and we decided to enjoy our time away apart from the circumstances.

Beautiful!!!
Listen folks, if this one is available, don’t pass it up! By far, the most beautiful cabin we have stayed in with lots of special, thoughtful touches. First floor master for senior parents with limited mobility, gorgeous sunrise views, well stocked kitchen tools and utensils, plenty of ice in the fridge in the kitchen and ice maker downstairs at the bar (brought 2 bags of ice but did not need them!). It’s an easy drive to the gated property, with a limited number of well-spaced cabins for privacy. Near civilization— you don’t have to drive 20 miles to get to the grocery store, and inbetween the quaint towns of Maysville and Blue Ridge. Mercer Orchard is just a few miles down the road. “Escape to Blue Ridge” property management is second to none. Quickly sent someone to help with a fireplace pilot light and delivered a ton of firewood when we reported it low. The only drawback was that the road the cabin is on is not on a google map, so a simple hand drawn map in relation to the main roads would have been VERY helpful. Something we had messaged for in advance but was told we wouldn’t need if we followed the written directions. We ended up driving around for an extra hour before being able to orient ourselves with the landmark provided in the directions and ended up backtracking several miles back in on the road we came in on. Also, be sure to use your vehicle odometer to follow the number of miles from the landmark to the cabin street. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Falcons Lair is IT!

Fall Break for family of 4
Our family of 4 had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy this home. The home has decorator furnishings and is very pretty and comfortable. Deck and outside fireplace and hot tub are very nice features! We hope to go back sometime!

Worst vacation
Worst cabin expierience for our family. After numerous issues within the cabin, fruit flies, stains on the sheets, swarms of bees and wasp due to a nest in the roof (my wife is allergic), an very BIG ac issue that lisa and Jeremy knew about but decided to rent regardless.
This Management company that did nothing but lie and over promise and never deliver. They sent out a drunk maintenance man our first night and we had to ask him to leave. Amber from their team was rude after we had to call after hours. Jeremy talked a good game but never followed through with any of his promises and called to tell me he was handling other things for his own rental properties.
We ended up leaving our vacation 4 days early due to their negligence. Their was nothing luxury about this cabin and we will never rent another one that escape to blue ridge handles. And we will be sure to tell all of our friends too.

Beautiful cabin
We were so happy with Falcon’s Lair. 3 bedrooms for me and husband, 1 for Mom and 1 for our grown son. 15 year old niece slept on sofa bed downstairs and felt she had her own space too. Very clean and I am REALLY picky! Deck was so relaxing and we enjoyed all the amenities including s’mores at the fire pit, corn hole, hot tub and playing pool. We even elected to eat in the last evening to further enjoy the cabin. The only suggestion/warning I have is that there could be a few more towel racks in the bathrooms and when folks walk up and down the stairs it is very loud in the bedrooms even with normal walking. But if that’s all you have to complain about you have it made! Will say that you’re not terribly high up so in the summer you can’t really see down to the river but the distant mountain ranges are beautiful from the deck. Just lovely!

Beautiful New Cabin
The rental process was easy thanks to Escape To Blue Ridge. Very nice cabin with plenty of room. Had a wonderful time relaxing by the outside fireplace with the TV and the Hot Tub was great. Close to Blue Ridge and McCaysille. Topline appliances and a well stocked kitchen.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were only a party of four, but this house could easily fit two families or three couples perfectly. Our teenage boys took over the ground floor game room and bedroom. It was perfect for them to have their own space. My husband and I enjoyed grilling out every night and lighting a fire in the fireplace enjoying the evenings on the deck. We rarely ate out since the kitchen was large and well stocked. The beds were super comfortable and after a busy day we had no problem sleeping. The only thing worth noting is the accuracy of the location of the house on the listing-the address does not show up in Google maps since it’s a gravel driveway. The location in the listing shows that it is in Blue Ridge proper. The house location ended up being perfect as we were north of Blue Ridge about 8 miles and about 4 miles to McCaysville. We were able to be in Blue Ridge or Tennessee very quickly. Book this house-it’s a stunner and you won’t regret your decision!

Fantastic home with breathtaking views
My family stayed for 5 days at Falcon's Lair, and my husband tried to extend our stay. The property is new and is in pristine condition. When I first walked in, the place smelled new and the views are stunningl. The decor looks professionally done, and there are so many nice design touches. We played pool, relaxed in the jacuzzi, and enjoyed a lot of time on the back deck. I even took a yoga class on the upstairs deck. My husband and I did several hikes in TN that were beautiful and close to the property. I would highly recommend this home. I want to come back for a weekend with friends in the future.
