About this house rental
Renovated between 11/19-1/20 this home is one of the most modern units of the 64 at Fox Ridge. Currently there are two floors of updated space including a spacious living room with views of Holiday Valley that are only surpassed by those from the chair lifts! The galley kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook meals for a crowd including a waffle maker for breakfast and a fondue set for apres ski. The wood treatment is from a local barn built circa 1840 and taken down by hand before being repurposed @ Valley View. The table top was custom made by a local craftsman and made of reclaimed White Oak along with the step to living room and loft. The loft railing was replaced with a support beam from the same barn. A variety of games, books and puzzles can be found in the media center and were curated to create engaging connections and create lifelong memories. When the day is done and everyone is exhausted the sleeping arrangements will be sure to please. The large master bedroom on the second floor enjoys plenty of soft natural light for a gentle morning wake up. You may not want to get out of the Thuma King Bed w/ Serta hybrid mattress and the softest sheets you’ve ever experienced. 42” smart TV recently installed! A large closet for extended stays and a handsome full bathroom is located in this room as well. A loft w/ a queen & armoire is located by walking through the master & overlooks living room. Don’t fret- the same Thuma/Serta combo is set up for a good nights rest here too. You’ll find a private bedroom off of the living room which has a triple bunk bed to sleep up to 5. The views from this bunk room are spectacular! The smart TV will have you binging on whatever your guilty pleasure is if the weather just isn’t cooperating. All the apps at your are fingertips including Disney+, Netflix, Showtime, Prime, HBO & Spectrum cable. But hey- get out and explore the Aspen of the East! Whether it’s a hike, a hamburger, a massage or a movie- our in house guide will ensure your experience in EVL is the best it can be!
By the way, with a brand new high efficiency furnace and central air conditioning you'll be comfortable in a blizzard or a heat wave. The tank-less water heater will provide an endless supply of hot water so everybody can hit the shower then the town so fresh and so clean.

Cozy beds and clean. Nice place to stay. We enjoyed ourselves. Refrigerator wasn’t working properly, host replied and said he reached to the repair man but we were there for days after that with it not being fixed as the repair man never showed up. We did end up having to throw a bunch of food away because it got too warm. We really enjoyed our time just really bummed about the fridge.

We had a great stay and the property far exceeded our expectations. Well appointed with everything we needed, very close to the ski slopes, and a lot of room. Tim was an amazing host and we'd definitely stay again if traveling to the area. This was a gem and we'd highly recommend.

Family holiday stay fit well with the property. Great view of the New Years Eve Fireworks display. The condo had all the amenities needed. Would have been a little better if there was more snow, but we were able to get out and enjoy regardless.

The modern/barn feel of this townhouse was wonderful for my Bridesmaids to get ready in for the morning of my wedding. it was very spacious on every floor. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and wonderful with information we needed.

Perfection!
We booked this for a family ski weekend, instead of spending money on each other for Christmas and boy was that the best idea we’ve ever had, and this place was what made the weekend so special! Tim was incredibly responsive, the property was exactly as pictured (very beautiful!) and you can’t beat the location - we had 6 adults and kids aged 5, 3, 2.5 and 6 months and we were able to find spaces for us all to sleep comfortably and to spread out. We hope to book this place again next year and make it a tradition - I would recommend this place, and Tim, over & over again - thank you!

Phenomenal Property
The pictures make this place look great, but they do not compare to the in person view. Fantastic views of the ski resort, plenty of space for everyone. Definitely a great place to relax after skiing, and Tim is a fantastic host, easy to communicate with and quick to respond!

Skier's Paradise!
We loved our time at this wonderful townhome! The property was immaculately clean - truly, the cleanest property we've ever stayed at! There was plenty of room for us to all spread out, an incredible basement area for relaxing by the fire after a long day of skiing and a well-stocked kitchen. Seeing the ski hills over at Holiday Valley was a great backdrop and you can't beat the location to the hill! Fantastic property and we'll be back!

Perfect retreat for St. Bonaventure Family weekend
We found this property to be perfect for our needs as it is well appointed, stylish, and yet we felt like we were at a retreat nestled in a beautiful ski resort and next door to an awesome town Ellicottville NY. we really like Dina's. We were thirty minutes from our daughter at SBU and the family festivities and a quiet retreat when we were done at the end of the day. Tim is a great communicator, and he was proactive checking in making sure we had everything we needed, and we will try to stay here again. GO Bonnies!

Great Rental

We have been renting VBRO locations in Ellicottville for 7 years now for our annual ski trip. This was by far, the nicest, best location we have rented and I will book it again early to ensure we grab our next year dates! We had 3 adults, 4 teenagers and 2 under 10. We loved the set up. Tim was awesome about us checking in just a bit early so we could get to the slopes. We had everything we needed. The beds were all good. My older kids took the triple bunks and bumped their heads so I would recommend putting smaller kids there and letting the older ones take over the downstairs which was a fabulous space for our teenagers. The bathrooms had hot water, was perfect for what we needed. My only recommendation and it is small is adding some additional silverware. The condo holds a lot of people but we ran out of forks for dinner with 9 eating all at the same time. No biggie. We used the kid ones but adding some more would be helpful for larger groups. We called for the shuttle successfully to get to/from the slopes. We couldn’t reach them Saturday after our lunch and walked back. It was easy but our gear was still at the lodge so we walked in our ski boots. No issues. Very quick. We were surprised that we heard no one else in the condos next to us. That was nice once we crashed after a long day of skiing. The decor was updated, homey and fresh. The remodel is fantastic, space fantastic, location fantastic! We will be back!

Favorite Place in 7 years skiing!
We have been renting VBRO locations in Ellicottville for 7 years now for our annual ski trip. As good as advertised
My family stayed here for 17 days in Jan-Feb 2021, working and schooling remotely during the day and skiing at night. The townhouse, the location, and the owner, Tim, were all top-notch. The unit is as nice as it looks in the pictures (the barnwood is a great touch), but even better, as there is now a fully finished basement area that doubles as a rec-room and extra bedroom for up to 4, with a brand new sleeper sofa, a Murphy Bed with new mattress, huge tv, dartboard, laundry room, ski-locker area, and full bath with heated floor and walk-in shower. The townhouse (now essentially a four-bedroom) is remarkably well-stocked with dishes, linens, blankets, games, cookware, utensils etc. -- other than buying food, there was almost nothing we needed that wasn't there. Tim is super-responsive and nice -- he literally wrote back within a minute of pretty much every message I sent, and did everything he could to provide helpful information and respond to my questions. The location is worth noting: yes, it is right across the street from HV (you look out the window onto the slopes), but it's not really walkable for skiing (as we'd hoped) because of the terrain and elevation: you'd need to trek down a steep, snowy hill carrying ski gear, or walk along a busy road. But HV runs a free shuttle that will come on call, so it's not a big deal -- and you could walk over during a summer stay. Finally, the wireless was flawless -- three of our four were zooming away all day without any problem. All in all, just a great experience, and we would for sure stay there again.

Wonderful trip
We absolutely loved our stay! The townhouse has everything you need and so convenient to the slopes. We loved the basement and the extra space! We were able to enjoy cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, as well as the convenience of everything right out our door! Tim was wonderful to communicate with and got back to us quickly! My kids loved playing darts and the games that were provided. We will be back- we loved it!

Perfect location, great Thanksgiving stay
We loved our stay for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Tim is an excellent host, and very responsive. It was great to walk to the mountain for hiking, great place for hill workouts (for us runners!) and the hotel spa was a five minute walk away. Hope to stay there again when skiing is underway. Kids rated this one of their favorite vacations ever!
After 6 months of Covid lockdown, we needed a getaway. Our family of four (two kids ages 9 and 6) drove the 2 hours from Rochester to the adorable town of Ellicottville and enjoyed every minute of it. The townhouse was clean, spacious, and perfectly appointed. Super easy to find, to park, to check in, and to access everything. The kids were thrilled with the 3-person bunk bed. We couldn't believe all the kitchen utensils and supplies available (coffee and French press), olive oil, salt and pepper, all the basics we needed to save some money by eating in. There was shampoo and soap in both bathrooms, a hair dryer, toothpaste, laundry detergent, board games, a Lego set - so so many things that made our stay fun, comfortable, and easy. We walked to the Holiday Valley resort each day and enjoyed swimming for hours, drove up to the Sky High Adventure Park (a little pricey but worth every penny as we had SO much fun), and drove out to various parks in the region for hikes and picnics. There is a grocery store in town (Tops) for stocking up, but we enjoyed every meal that we ate in town as well. The showers could have used better pressure, but that was hardly an inconvenience. Really enjoyed our stay and the kids are already asking when we can go back.

Hidden Gem!
We had an amazing 9 night stay at this unbelievable property! The home was upgraded and beautiful, with spectacular views of the slopes and sunsets. The amenities nearby were such a perk, a 5 minute walk to the pool with diving board and slide, a beach bar for snacks and cocktails and some outdoor games, and then a short drive up a hill to an adventure park complete with climbing trees, zip lines, a mountain coaster and more. Resort living while being in the comfort of an amazing townhome with plenty of space outdoors to roam and explore. This place Was also was stocked with family games, a big screen TV with Netflix and DisneyPlus for movie nights and a triple bunk bed the four kids couldn’t get enough of. A drive to town was only five minutes away for dinners, dessert, and a brewery! Close enough to Niagara Falls for a day trip, which we did, but the kids still said their favorite activities were those we did at the resort! The owner was very responsive to email and was available if we needed anything, which we didn’t since this place had everything we needed! Can’t wait to come back again in the winter! We miss this place already. Thanks for a vacation we will never forget!

Perfectly sized, smartly renovated townhouse with all the necessary features for a great getaway.
Well-designed, thoughtfully chosen furniture and decor that’s rustic, modern and refreshingly uncluttered.
Tim quickly responded to all of our inquires and was very thorough and informative. He was super friendly, very helpful and shared his insights on the best things to do and see in the area.
We felt so lucky to find this place. We were so comfortable and the location is close to the best of what Ellicottville and neighboring towns have to offer. Highly recommend!

Family Ski weekend
Two families stayed here over the weekend - we were all novice skiers and this our first ski weekend trip. The place was amazing and was super convenient for everything we needed. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 adults (two bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom) and a bunk bed room downstairs for 4 girls. Breakfast was easy with all the amenities in the kitchen and we were able to walk to the slopes both days by 9am.
Also, Tim was an excellent host. I had some questions about the reservation and he was incredibly responsive and was very willing to be flexible to accommodate our changing need. Everything worked out perfectly and we plan to be back next year!
