I was charged $80 cleaning fee but I was told I had to take out the trash, clean my dishes, and not leave a mess. What's the cleaning fee for then? I told this to Booking.com who then contacted the property, and the property told Booking that they wouldn't charge the cleaning fee. They did. I then contacted Booking to say this, and they tried contacting the property who said they'll give me back the cleaning fee. I waited for it to be done, and it was never done. Eventually, Booking said there's nothing more they can do and to contact the property directly.
I did and then was told there's no record of returning the cleaning fee. I screenshot all my conversations with Booking to whoever I was talking to, and they said they'll ask the manager. They did and said they're not returning it because "We apologize but we can only refund the unstayed nights. Also any issues reported on the day of check-in will be addressed right away. But we didn't received any upon your check-in all you issues were sent on the day of your check out so no refunds will be made. Thanks!"
What?! If that's the case, how do I have screenshot proof that Booking talked with them about not charging the cleaning fee? Ridiculous. What a lie.
Besides the cleaning fee scam, the rooms were very old, beds were caved in, blankets felt dusty. Definitely not a homey feel, not clean. There weren't any tables in any of the rooms to work on, and none of the ceilings had lights, just old lamps. It was a really worn-down place, would not recommend at all. Kitchen didn't have many items, barely any utensils (forks, spoons, knives), no basic cooking essentials like oil and salt, nor any good cutting knives. Really terrible amenities.
AND the property asked me multiple times to leave a review. So here it is. Stay away, lying property managers, totally not worth it. Would like Booking to take this off the site, this is ridiculous.

No!
The location seems not safe.
When I got in, I didn't find the thermostat, the heating system doesn't work. It was very cold inside and we can't control the temperature. It would be very difficult to stay overnight without heating. After a very short stay (1 hour), we decided to leave.
This is the worst experience for me!

my apartment was the first one, ground floor from the parking lot. parking space right in front of the apartment.
The loud screaming/crying children and mom upstairs.

Really liked the location. Communication the the property owner was very easy and he was very pleasant.
It was not adequately described, beds were not comfortable, no table, lamp was broken, light switches didn’t work.

They did not offer breakfast. It was in the middle of everything.
The neighbors smoking weed.

-cheap
-near walmart and town but not in it
-had (more) shampoo, pots… etc. unlike hotel
-not clean when we arrived, dirty dishes were put away, dusty, crumbs, etc.
-owner asked we do cleaning before we left even tho we were charged a cleaning fee and it was dirty upon arrival
-many items around the place were either very outdated or very cheap or worn

Good Communication. Access to property (door code) provided in a timely manner - contact throughout the visit.
Property could use some updating and a deep cleaning. Handle loose on fridge, microwave led panel unreadable, washcloths and towel dingy. When we arrived, we noticed a hole in the wall in one bedroom and something that looked like soda splashed on the wall in the living area (which we cleaned up). Took pictures and contacted host. The apartment sleeps 4, but only has seating for 2 in the living area (sofa) and 2 stools at a small table. Nothing to eat at for 4 people.

It was in a perfect location for us to visit downtown and visit resturants nearby.
It was not well kept. It had holes in the wall, baseboards were very dirty. No blinds or part of the blinds were not there.
2.5
The bed was comfortable.
There were various flaws. Holes in walls, holes in the closet in the spare bedroom, no access to the main bedroom closet, TV only set to Roku and Vudu. Refrigerator would not cool right...had to leave our food in coolers. Too much noise from the street below. No dining room table.

Pretty much everything except the loveseat and the tv. Even though it was close to the highway we couldn’t here the traffic nor people running in and out of the other units.
I was charged a $59.00 booking damage and I would like to know why. The loveseat. It wasn’t very comfortable. It needs a bigger tv for the size of the room and a different dining table. It wasn’t perfect but it suited our needs.

Clean and in a great location. Like staying in a spacious tiny home. It is a an Apartment complex. We never saw anyone staying there, So it was quite and in a good location. Beds could have been better.
Beds could have been more comfortable. Master bed was better than 2nd bedroom.
4.5
It is affordable and located minutes away from a police/fire station and the highway. Less than 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and the Aquarium. Less than 30 minutes from a Super Walmart and other shops. We felt safe. There were no disturbances or startling noises. Two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with dual basins. Full kitchen and nice sized living room/dining area. Hot water shower and cold a/c.
There were some incidentals found upon our arrival that I brought to the host’s attention. I do hope will be taken care of for the next guests. Changes that need to be made for the guests’ convenience. The master bed was comfortable but the 2nd bed where my daughter’s slept was not.
