It seemed clean and tidy, we were only here for one night but the location was okay, about a 15 min walk to the Centro.
We booked online and the price was $34 USD, I thought this was reasonable for one night in a private room. When we arrived it ended up costing $50 USD as they add a cleaning fee on which isn’t clear upon booking. I do not believe this property is worth $50 a night. The water pressure was awful for the showers, it’s still a fair distance to walk anywhere and there is no reception area for check in or check out, we had to leave around 8am and just had to leave the key in the door as there was no one around to talk to.

Very convenient location
Good AC. Clean.
On budget so far from the sea

The view was amazing on the terrace above, it looked out to all of the area and gave the impression that the house was the highest point; it was a nice location to take pictures.
The communication made it difficult to reach the location in a timely manner. The hosts are nice however their directions sent me to the other side of town and it took me over 2 hours to find them plus when I arrived the only parking is the alley which curves around and gives no protection from passing vehicles to hit your car.

The hosts were very kind and the place was clean.
The location isn't great. Be prepared to travel for amenities.

Close to the airport. Staff were good.
Very basic, with the smallest bathroom I've ever seen.

The room and bath were clean. The people smiled.
The tiny hole of a room we had was NOTHING like the photos. The wifi did not work in the room. The public room was incredibly noisy from the family and not terribly clean but I had to use it because it was the only place with decent wifi. Parking on the steep and skinny street made us feel uncomfortable.

The view from the rooftop deck made everything worth it! Nothing fancy here as you get what you pay for. Basic needs were met. It's what you'd expect for this area in Mexico and for the low price. Beds were comfortable enough with 2 pillows each and wonderful soft, heavy blankets if needed. Facilities were very minimal and clean. WIFI was fast and dependable. Shower was warm (not hot but not cold). Towels were provided. Location was fantastic with the art walk only a 5-10 min walk away! Also, Walmart is a 5 min walk and Playa Hotelera (not ideal for swimming) a 1.5 mile walk away. Uber is easy and cheap to use also, though shuttle service from hotel is available to and from airport if needed.
Nothing the hotel could control but, the dogs barking outside were loud and didn't stop all night. This is common everywhere nearby. Same with the roosters lol. The communal kitchen had minimal options- one fork and spoon, 2 bowls, 2 plates, a microwave, fridge, and electric kettle. Better than nothing but not ideal if you're trying to cook for yourself. Staff was very nice but does not speak English FYI.

The place was quiet and there was plenty of room but of course you have to pay extra, is close to the highway and there are supermarkets around
The person that welcome us just received the money and point at the room, make sure bills has nothing written or won't be accepted, the shared kitchen need to be cleaned because I saw a taco at the table for two days in a row that I have to throw it away once I knew nobody will claim it 😬 the last day I have to ask for toilet paper due there was no more even though they clean everyday and should notice, I think the last day on my way out the person that I pay on my first day was outside and don't even care to say anything just a simple goodbye maybe I'm asking for to much but that's something you expect everywhere you go because that will made you go back

The place is great, bed is very comfortable and Isamar is so helpful! Best staff.
It's just a little bit hard to find when you arrive at night since there is no sign, but not a big problem. We arrived late at night.

The room was exactly what I asked for.
My toilet didn’t have a seat.

The location was central to shopping, banks and local cuisine.
If your not a walker might not be the place for you, it's on a slope probably the only frowny lol

Isamar was a fantastic host. Thank you so much!
This is a great location with so much within walking distance. We are travelling on a minimal budget so it was perfect. It was very cool to be far enough away from the resorts that we could experience the city.
The city is loud. Bring earplugs if you are a restless sleeper ;). We had no problem.

Location is not too bad, somewhat close to the town centre. Internet is good.
Overpriced, a lot of hidden fees (about 55% more). The shower had roaches.

The room was a lot nicer than we expected, clean and comfortable. The staff gave good suggestions on where to go and what to do. Close to center with lots of cheap food places around and close to main road and bus station
The shared bathroom is between three rooms so it got a bit congested. The kitchen is just a microwave and fridge so you can heat food but don't expect to cook

Location
No hot water in shower, and the water pressure is so low, like drizzling from the faucet! I booked a luxury suite for one night but felt it was the worst hotel experience ever! The staff refused speaking English and kept being useless…

I am a woman in her mid-thirties and I traveled alone. I heard from friends that Cabo was relatively safe, and I was hoping that was true! I enjoy walking, so the distance from the center of downtown to Familia Sosa Suazo was not a big deal to me; the scariest part was the aggressive dogs I had to pass at the bottom of the hill. The room was clean and tidied every day (they must be using pesticides because one day I saw a dying cockroach and by the time I returned it had been cleaned--cockroaches are just a fact of life in certain areas, but I felt like they were clearly managing them well!) I felt the young woman who helped me was always speedy in her replies and was helpful to get me anything I needed. My biggest priorities were: 1) safety 2) cleanliness and 3) price. This location certainly met all of those needs!
The most challenging part of my stay was definitely the bathroom. I am slightly taller than your average American woman, at 5' 8" and standing over the sink was definitely an obstacle. It wasn't anything that would keep me from renting there again, but it might be worth noting if you are a larger-than-average person. (Attaching a photo for reference.) I also struggled to get warm water from the shower. This wasn't a huge deal to me since I had always been walking for miles by the time I was ready to shower, and so the cool water wasn't entirely unwelcomed.... but as a person who tends to prefer hot showers, I did spend quite a few minutes, multiple times, trying to figure out how to get hot water from the spout. Oh! One other thing to note--the internet connection wasn't particularly noteworthy. I had envisioned possibly relaxing after long days of walking by watching a movie curled up in bed, but the connection certainly wasn't good enough for that.

Air con was great with how hot it is outside. the location was good, a 15 min walk away from the town centre which was helpful. bed was comfy. friendly staff.
when we arrived,we was informed that the shower was broken. this was fixed within a day but was inconvenient. staff apologised for this. One night, we came in at around 1am and was conscious of being quiet for other guests sakes. within 10 minutes we got a text from the staff stating that we was being too loud. she was referring to the squeaky bed frame which was loud every time we moved. didn’t really think this was our fault.
also, a bit difficult with only having 1 bathroom between lots of rooms as we found it hard to access this without anybody already being in there.

Very friendly host, very helpful. There's a rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view. There's a fridge and microwave you can use, and some basic kitchen equipement. This was a nice bonus for us to be able to eat our own breakfast. Enough restaurants within walking distance (especially good taquerias!). Airco was good, beds were comfortable. Everything we needed after arriving in los cabos, before starting our roadtrip.
Walking tot the center would be a good 20 mins, but we had a car and so it was easy.

My son said he felt safe in the house, loved the big room and friendly helpful hosts. Great private shuttle to airport.
