It's like a little garden courtyard. When you are in your Casita it feels like you're the only one there. In the mornings you can hear the birds and see butterflies and hummingbirds.. we have stayed here a couple of times and is the second reason why we love Patagonia.

Patagonia is such a great place to visit. Definitely go to breakfast at the Gathering Grounds and visit Velvet Elvis for their pizza. The restaurant is located 100+ year old adobe building that has been beautifully renovated and decorated.
We went for wine tasting. Our 3 top wineries we visited were Dos Cabezas - great wine and pizza, Rune - wonderful views and wine finally Los Milics has one of the top rated tasting rooms in the country with outstanding food and wine.
We enjoyed our stay in the unit. Unique property with 4 casitas in a setting with lots of trees and flowers.
A couple of suggestions regarding the unit. At check out guests are requested to wash their dishes. There is no dishwasher. When we took out the dishes they were greasy and had not been cleaned properly. Would encourage Host to check dishes before next guest checks in. Both beds are very firm which many people like. But I would suggest a foam topper on one which would give guests choices.

This home was small but very comfortable and efficient. The area is beautiful with a short drive to the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Service and check in was excellent. Unit was clean but a little dated. Grounds excellent.

Was a great stay, cute place with a great feel. Cleaning instructions were very doable and not over the top. Wish a little better job of dusting/cleaning had been done prior to us arriving, but it didn't affect the stay at all. Great place to stay to experience lake Patagonia, Sonoita, and Nogales!

Nice 2bed 2 bath with all the basics. Clean, good wifi, quiet. A bit small but bedrooms are comfortable and there is all you need, including laundry on site (although not in unit). Convenient to town.

Stay was cool option after initial parking fiasco. The property has parking up front for all its tenants which is about 4 /5 spaces and one of the spots is taken by a host. However, something to think about if you are sharing an apartment with another couple, it gets tight - might not have a spot. If you plan on bringing a side by side to explore you will need to park on the Main Street 1st couple minute walk from the house and one neighbor gets angry if you park by their house. The compound has a round a bout for unloading but also cannot use it if you have a trailer so plan on walking all your stuff from the main road or shuttling if you have someone else with you with a smaller vehicle. As said above the place is small and cozy. Did find a handful of ants on the counter near coffee maker and a couple spiders in the bathroom. Our couch was also similar to outside furniture and was broken upon arrival. Not really a way for two couples to lounge on especially being broken. Harder to relax together and watch tv. The trash cans are all bathroom size (even in the kitchen) so plan on taking trash outside of compound often (small inconvenience but good if you need to get steps in). The pictures were a little deceiving the outside picture of the casita you are actually using half of that building, because you are connected to another tenant. There are dogs all around you and many times we ran into other dogs loose and not in their properties because gates left open while walking dog. Never ran into aggressive dogs with our dog so that was nice. They do however like to bark if they hear any noise. Once we got past all of this and learned to live with everything it was small and a solid stay option.

We checked in at 3pm, and immediately found multiple spiders in the bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas, roaches in the bedroom, ants in the bathroom, and what appeared to be rodent feces in the bathroom. I messaged the host twice informing her of the situation and received no reply. I called twice, leaving a message around 3:25pm, again stating the issue and asking to resolve the matter with a refund, but no reply. The host texted around 8pm with directions to the property, but had yet to acknowledge my previous messages. Evolve, who manages the property, contacted me around 8:45pm, and after reviewing the photos and videos of the insect infestation and what seemed to be rodent feces, they issued a refund ASAP. VRBO was very apologetic as well, and as soon as they saw the photos, they told me I would be getting a refund. When we left at 3:30pm, we ran into a woman who identified herself as a tenant in the unit next to ours. (This is also misleading — the house appears to be its own unit based on the photos, but it’s actually a duplex/split unit with a shared wall.) We asked the woman if she knew where we could find the host, and she pointed to the house next door and told us she was home! Since we didn’t have instructions to knock on her door and I felt it was inappropriate, I did not confront her. Hosts like this should be banned from VRBO, and companies like Evolve should be ashamed of themselves for misrepresenting properties like this.

This was a comfortable little duplex cottage on a property full of cottages. We enjoyed being there and having friends visit. For some reason I thought the cottages were further apart and our dogs were more reactive than usual because they weren’t. There is also another property overlooking this place with dogs so at times all of them were barking! We walked them on a leash so there were no problems. Restaurants were close and birding and hiking fun. The owner was helpful.

Very nice/rustic getaway in Patagonia. Perfectly secluded and quiet, yet close enough to town and an easy drive to Sonoita for wine tasting. Very friendly and accommodating hostess. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for sharing your place with us. We had a nice relaxing time. The grounds were very peaceful and quiet. The apartment was very roomy and clean. Close for us to make the Daily trips to the Lake to spend time with our family that was camping.

The mural-decorated and art-filled casita features up-to-date furnishing and is very comfortable. In addition to a patio with a table/seating, the casita is situated on the edge of a central shaded gathering area with barbecue and seating. Very relaxing!

We would have enjoyed our stay except that all the drains and toilets backed up. We had to change our plans and call for a plumber to come out. The owner said, "These things happen," when i asked for at least a partial refund.

Lovely and quiet. Beautiful murals on exterior of casitas. Close to restaurants, stores, and birding locations. In fact, we could bird watch on site and saw cardinals, hawks, vultures, warblers, chikadees, etc. Our host was on site and was gracious and helpful.

We were in Patagonia for a desert retreat 1/4 mile from center of town and the casita was a perfect location. The property is lovely and my spouse and sister and I enjoyed the well appointed lodging and the beauty of the place. Many thoughtful accommodations—from lighting by bedside to enough outlets for devices. —

Overall 3.5 out of 5.
Fairly clean. There was dust on the headboard of the bed but otherwise clean.
Fairly comfortable. The couch in the living room is really hard and the only way we could sit on it was to sit on it with pillows under us. Needs to be replaced asap. The beds were comfy but the mattresses were not great. Everything else was fine.

We found this great home that allowed us easy access to the Patagonia area. It worked great for two couples. It’s away from the main highway, we didn’t hear any traffic sounds; however it was close enough for a stroll into town to see the amazing art and history.

The property is lovely and peaceful. Well decorated inside and gorgeous artwork outside. Beds are comfy. The couch needs to be replaced. Please do this right now. The owner was very friendly. The management company is terrible. I sent two messages via the VRBO messaging system and neither were ever answered. I finally called and talked to someone over the phone the day before my trip.

Everything was super nice! Being able to get away for 7 days was just so nice ! Around the same price as a hotel except is a SMALL HOME . I absolutely loved the whole experience and I'm so happy I was able to bring my dog . Make the whole experience less stressful.

We enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay here. Convenient to town and good birding on the property. #2 was roomy and had everything we needed. Nice art and furnishings, although the couch (more like a futon) was way too low. We would stay here again. We were a bit surprised that there was a third house on the property with a permanent resident. She was quiet but privacy was not as we anticipated. When sitting on the porch of #2 you look directly at her sitting on her porch. Pictures of property need updating to add this information; also pictures were taken when bushes were smaller and yard looked a bit different.

Perfect retreat
My daughter and I were looking for a quiet retreat for our annual mother/daughter getaway. The casita was perfect and had everything we needed. The surrounding landscape was beautiful with many birds of different kinds singing. There was also a hot tub and grill to use!

Comfortable and well appointed
The casita was just right for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Pleasantly surprised that the small square footage never felt crowded. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a small Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Beds were comfortable and having 2 full bathrooms was great! Couches were comfortable but needed frequent pillow re-adjustments. Internet connection was spotty but we were able to use our hotspot to connect the TV in the evening. Livia was pleasant and accommodating, making sure we were fully stocked on water, paper products and linens. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

Patagonia Paradise
The property is beautiful and nicely maintained. The cottage was very clean and provided everything we needed. The front porch was a great place to hang outside and the hot tube was nice and hot with effective jets. Owner was very friendly and helpful as was a member of her staff.
4.0 / 5.0
The property was lovely and secluded. The owner has really created a beautiful oasis for guests to enjoy. The only negative feedback I have is that while there on Saturday, we were all sitting in the house visiting with each other before heading to our nephew's wedding. We wanted to sit with the door open because it was so gorgeous outside. There were contractors working right outside of Casa Paloma 2 and the drilling was very loud, making it difficult to hear. We probably could have shut the door, but being from Wisconsin, we really wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather. When we left for the wedding, I almost tripped over the extension cord the contractors had plugged into the outlet on our patio.

Delightful Garden Casita Getaway in Patagonia
What a find! We recently spent two nights at the 2 bedroom/ 2 bath Birdsong Casita. The delightful owner Livia greeted us when we arrived and answered all our questions about this delightful property. The Casita is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Her artistic touches did not go unnoticed. Spending time outdoors on the porch and stargazing in the yard were a bonus. We look forward to returning and exploring more of this incredible, eclectic part of AZ.

Nice Lodging, But ....
We liked our rental and enjoyed our stay for the most part. A few comments meant to improve : the front door was left open, permitting a large number of flies to collect in the rear bedroom; a call was left asking if there was WIFI, but received no answer - in fact there is free WIFI; the light bulb by the bedside in the Master bedroom was about 25 watts - usefless for reading; and, there were no instructions as to where trash was to be left.

Stay
There were a few issues with maintenance and cleanliness. The couch had lots of dog hair when you moved the pillows upon check in. The front bathroom had a broken toilet seat. There were cob webs and spiders in multiple corners located within the property. On a positive note, the location was good. Check in was easy. The bed is comfortable.

Beautiful area
Beautiful area! we stayed here with our two dogs and had a great time. It’s nice and quiet all the time. We had everything we needed in the house. Very nice kitchen set up and a front porch to relax. We went to The lake which is only 15 minutes down the road. Also went into town and got some pizza and breakfast one morning. highly recommend if you just want to chill out in the cooler weather and have some great scenery.
