Private and cozy, this three bedroom, 2 bath mountain cabin is the ideal destination for your next weekend getaway or family vacation. This home is located in the private community of "Pineloch Sun" just minutes from Lake Cle Elum, the Historic town of Roslyn, and Suncadia. This cabin features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a cozy living room with woodstove, a kitchen with bar area, a loft rec room with big screen tv, air hockey table, a large entertaining front deck with gas BBQ grill and firepit, and a hot tub under a private covered back deck.
****Winter Access: Gate to Pineloch Sun development is open effective 3/10/24!!!
**Nov- Feb/March/Winter: If gate to our development is closed due to snow, there is a parking area, and a 10-15min up-hill walk (1/4 mi-1/2 mile) to the cabin property, or a 2 min snowmobile/side by side only ride. During the winter months when transportation by car is prohibited, there is a winter taxi service in our community to get you up the hill to the property in a heated ATV with your belongings in tow! Upon booking we will provide you contact info for you to inquire about pricing and scheduling. Seasonal access typically late Nov.-Mar., and is dependent on level of snow, safety is priority and is determined by our HOA. Please send us a message with any questions/concerns, and we will respond w/in 24hrs.**
Once gates close, they remain closed during the winter season (Nov-Mar) and will only re-open if the roads become bare and there is no snow in the forecast. Check website for development gate closures: www.pinelochsun.org

Sit back and relax around the cozy wood stove while you enjoy your coffee or favorite beverage on the plush reclining leather sectional that seats 6-8. In the upstairs loft area, view your favorite Netflix/Amazon Prime program on the 65” Smart TV while snuggling on the new Lovesac sectional that also seats 6-8. An assortment of DVD's, VHS's and Xbox games for all ages are also provided for your nostalgic enjoyment. Dining table seats 6-8, with an additional 4 at the Kitchen Bar.
The home is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, including unlimited wireless internet access, wood stove with firewood and fire starters provided, a gas grill, ice maker, washer and dryer, & wall heaters in each room. Prepare your favorite meals in the kitchen, fully stocked with plenty of cookware, stemware and newly installed stainless steel appliances which include double ovens.
The main floor has two bedrooms,1 bath, kitchen, living/dining room, a hot tub and a laundry room. The primary bedroom has a King bed and the Second bedroom nicknamed, "the bunkbed room" has 2 bunkbeds. There is one bathroom on this floor. Upstairs is the Third bedroom with a King Bed and a Queen bed. There is one bathroom on the second floor. The entire family will enjoy spending time in the upstairs Loft Area, complete with a large TV, sectional, board games galore and air hockey!
Relax and enjoy nature and wildlife on one of two entertainment decks. The front of the cabin boasts a 450sqft deck with seating for 8, perfect for entertaining a group. It also has a portable firepit for smores and could become the evening dance floor if you wish! The covered back deck boasts a HUGE private year round hot tub, and a high table that seats 4 for happy hour in the warmer months.
Cabin in the Woods is located less than 5 minutes away from Lake Cle Elum, (it is a mile from us, so you can walk there!) where Speelyi Beach offers excellent swimming, fishing, boating, floating, kayaking, water skiing, jet skiing and just relaxing on the beach. You can launch a boat there, or Wish Poosh is just a mile down the road. Additionally, renters are welcome to use the outdoor tennis/pickle ball courts that our community clubhouse offers complimentary to our guests. Just bring your rackets and paddles! Less than 3 miles away is the Old Number 3 Bar and Grill, and 5 miles away in the cute town of Roslyn is the oldest bar in the state of Washington, The Brick Saloon. You might also recognize it from the hit T.V. show, Northern Exposure! The Brick is a family friendly establishment so bring the kids, and Village Pizza, Roslyn Mexican Grill, The Coal Chute, Basecamp Books and Bites, Red Bird Cafe, Roslyn Mercantile, and the Roslyn Candy Company are all family friendly places to also enjoy.
Suncadia Resort is just 6 miles away (10min drive) and offers three public championship golf courses, Swiftwater Winery and Hoist Restaurant, Portals restaurant at The Lodge, as well as tennis, basketball, kayak rentals, frisbee golf, biking/hiking trails and Glade Springs Spa! Suncadia’s parks and trails, kayak rentals, and ice skating and tubing in the winter, are all available for public use. Salmon la Sac is about 20 minutes away and offers hiking, cliff jumping and swimming holes galore in the summer and cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Lazy river floats, fishing and river rafting are also availalbe. (Cle Elum, Yakima, Cooper Rivers)
During the Winter you’ll enjoy cross country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and the state’s premier snowmobiling right out your cabin front door! Snowmobile rentals are available at Cascade Playtime Sports and The Last Resort. Skiing is 30 min away at The Summit Snoqualmie Pass, or 2 hours to Mission Ridge.

Our family enjoyed exploring gorgeous lakes and trails while staying at Ann Marie’s cabin. She was super responsive when we had questions about the house. Beds really comfy and we loved cooking meals. We will return!

We had a great time over the 4th of July weekend overall. The house was lovely and was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and having the upstairs AC definitely helped given the temperature outside. Maybe too many ORVs driving up and down the street outside, but only a small blip in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We wanted to have quality time with friends. This cabin was ideal for our stay House is clean and enough beds and the sleeping space. Kitchen is good and pantry is full with spices and required materials. Bathrooms are adequate.
Beautiful natural surroundings but needs car to move around and for grocery. Although grocery stores are plenty but far. Clu Elum lake is beautiful and nice to walk on the white sandy shore. Car can go upto the water.
Suggestion. Lower label bathroom shower curtains magnets not working. Needs few extension wires

Our family of four and our dog spent a wonderful couple of days at "Our Cabin in the Woods". The cabin had everything our family needed for our escape from the city. The hot tub on the back deck was a favorite. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy and there was plenty of firewood for the wood stove and fire pit. The location was great for exploring the area. We'd definitely return.

The cabin worked great for our diverse group that ranged from retired to elementary school. Plenty of room to divide up and do our own thing. The wood stove and hot tub were great. Access to snowmobile trails are convenient, we only took a wrong turn once.

The cabin was perfect for our family of older teens and adults. Plenty of things to do on a wintery week. Games, hot tub, hills to sled on, trails for snowmobiling billing not far away, even an Xbox for the teens. The layout of the rooms was perfect for us, giving the teens a private space for playing games and watching movies while the adults could visit downstairs.
The house was furnished with everything you could need and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. The option to hire a snow cat to help us get from the parking lot to the house was perfect and reasonably priced.

A group of four of us had a great stay in the cabin! The kitchen was well stocked to make meals and we enjoyed having two comfortable living rooms areas to hang out in. The hot tub was a nice touch for the chillier evenings too. Proximity to the lake and other hiking trails but also amenities in town. Really checked all of the boxes! The host was super easy to communicate with too.

Great location for where our activities were scheduled. Plenty of space for our 4 adults and 2 children. The game room was a bonus as well as the AC in the upstairs bedroom. Ann Marie was kind and quick to respond to all our questions ahead of time. The cabin had ample staples and plenty of extras. The hosts have thought of everything! There were a few housekeeping issues but not show stoppers. The beautiful cabin is in the woods so cell service can naturally be spotty and wifi was as well. We’d stay here again for sure! Every year we take our dad, who is approaching 80, to a different location for a long weekend getaway.. This one didn’t disappoint. It had the feel of camping but with all the luxuries. We spent many hours on the deck, eating, chatting, napping and more eating. Lake was nearby. It is walkable to the lake…about 20 minutes one way or quick drive. Hot tub was awesome and was a great way to end the day. Nearby towns were unique and fun to check out. Would love to come back and explore the area a little more. Highly recommend!

This cabin is lovely. Plenty of room. Lovesac couch is super comfy. Throw blankets and squishy pillows everywhere you need them. Fireplace keeps house toasty with minimal effort. Kitchen well equipped enough for me to make a rustic pizza completely from scratch. Beds are HEAVENLY. Big TV upstairs and speakers downstairs that we hooked up to so we could listen to our spooky podcasts. Only mentionable downside was the trek up to the property since the gate was closed. Even knowing in advance that it was closed did not prepare most of our group for the uphill climb. Ya live ya learn. Thanks Anne

The property was great, the cabin was well stocked with lots of extra's. We spent the weekend with our adult children and everyone had the BEST time. The check in and check out was easy. They had set everything up for guests who came to visit. We were beyond happy with the accommodations and definitely want to return. The location was beautiful and our trip in total was perfect!! Thanks again to the host as we loved it.

My wife and our two small dogs played host to my parents and my sister and her family (including 2 infants) for the holidays this year. We decided to take them to Leavenworth to experience the magic there this time of year, and this was a perfect place to call home for the trip. It was everything we needed and a quick hour drive into Leavenworth. The cabin has everything you need and the hot tub was a really nice touch at the end of the day.
Anne Marie was super responsive and even let us check out late, which was greatly appreciated.
One thing to note, if planning to stay here during the winter months that we didn't see right away when booking, is that you will need to have cash on hand for the ATV taxi service that will take you and all your belongings up to the property when the road is closed. It was $25 per trip, and with a group our size and with all the stuff you need for two infants, we needed two trips.
All in all, it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be back!

Cabin has everything you need, amazing blankets and pillows. All you need for a great visit, even had sleds for kids. The walk up hill is exhausting lol next time I'll bring my snowmobile, the snow taxi after 10pm costs 40 dollars but we used it once. Will def be back next year, thank you so much!
