About this house rental

Beautifully appointed 1930s home just two blocks from Swedish and Craig hospitals in old Englewood. On a very quiet street in a quiet neighborhood on a corner lot with large, fully-provisioned kitchen, two full bedrooms with king or queens beds each with their own full bathrooms (with the third bedroom set up as a quiet office), and really awesome large backyard with full patio lounge set for the warmer months. Large, private detached two-car garage in addition to plentiful street parking as well.

940MB fiber upload & download internet throughout, Sonos sound systems both upstairs and in the family room downstairs on 4K 55" TVs, and Chromecasts on both for all of your streaming needs! Electric fireplace in the basement family room as well to keep you cozy. Tons of cute restaurants, bars, music venues, and shopping within a few blocks. Both Craig and Swedish hospitals are easily walkable, just two blocks away. University of Denver (DU) is 2 miles/5 minute drive.

Accessibility: This is a ranch home with a basement. All bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, office, and living room are on the main level with no stairs. The laundry room and family room are downstairs in the basement with about 12 stairs down. The front entrance has nine total stairs up from the street onto the path and onto the front porch. There is one step up to the front door from the porch into the living room. From the detached garage, there are two steps down to the backyard and then one step up into the kitchen.

Long-term stays welcome! 10% weekly discount (over 7 days) and 20% monthly discount (over 28 days) included in price automatically.

Surveillance devices for security purposes at all entry/exit points to property: front doorbell camera, driveway camera, and side gate camera facing sidewalk.

Please note: this home has a whole-home swamp cooler instead of traditional air conditioning. It works great in Colorado’s dry climate, and is more energy efficient.

Host fee of $180 is the Cleaning Fee that is passed directly on to our husband & wife cleaning team! That way we make sure the house is spotless for your arrival and you aren't charged more than necessary for a longer stay.

We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the home. We were able to easily work during the days, and attend to our other tasks in the evening. The house is well situated and had evrything we needed. We will definitely stay again.

April was so fantastic to work with and the communication was fantastic. I traveled with my older parents, and it was the perfect home. April thinks of everything and then some. I felt as though I was staying in a friend's home, not a rental. I literally have never stayed in such a beautiful, well-equipped home. We were there for my son's DU graduation and it was nice and close to the school. I highly recommend Colore for dinner. Great Italian restaurant nearby. The backyard was beautiful and has a big outdoor couch for naps or reading. I cannot say enough nice things about this property. Thank you so much April! I would absolutely rent this again without hesitation!

We thoroughly enjoyed this nicely remodeled older home. We were treating our grandson to a high school graduation trip to Denver. The home is in a great location with easy access to Denver and the surrounding area. Nice, quiet neighborhood and plenty of space. We especially enjoyed the patio area out back. Having snacks and coffee were a special bonus.

I've stayed at many vacation rental properties, some obviously neglected by their owners. This place is quite lovely; clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Kudos to this owner for caring about the property and their guests' comfort.

This house is adorable and extremely well equipped! The host provides anything you may need from snacks to Keurig coffee pods. The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. Showers are equipped with shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The house is located a 5 minute drive from DU, which is exactly what we we were looking for as we (my parents and I) were visiting my daughter. April communicated with us throughout our stay and provides clear, easy instructions for the house.

The property was lovely. It was well furnished and had everything you needed. There were snacks coffee and so much more. It made us feel like we were at home. The location was excellent as we were so close to the hospital. We walked everyday. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lots of nice host touches and the home was well stocked with supplies. Very luxurious and comfortable for the 2 of us, especially the extra living area in the basement. Great location for our planned activities in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to restaurants.

We had a great stay at this property. April made us feel welcome in the home, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the snacks, coffee and cold drinks that were available to us. It was also great to have soaps, laundry detergent and other supplies available. The house was clean and well maintained, and tge location was great. We would definitely stay at this home again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host has thought of everything from the snacks upon arrival to the chargers by the bed. The decor is lovely and the location can’t be beat. We dined at several places on nearby Broadway and enjoyed the proximity to Denver University for graduation. It was the perfect place and way better than any hotel. We highly recommend it!

Adorable, roomy without being vast. Well appointed, thoughtful. April was attentive & kind. Loved sitting on the covered patio with morning coffee & hearing the subtle, rare bawk of the neighbors chicken; quite comforting, we loved it. Our points of interest were in Aurora & Littleton. Gray Pearl was a wonderful location.

Loved this house - it was perfect for us. We stayed at the house while moving my son out of his University of Denver dorm. It was perfectly situated halfway between DU and the storage unit. Easy drive to everything. House itself is charming, comfortable and quiet. Backyard is a little sanctuary. Loved the downstairs entertainment room - my son was able to stay up late watching sports and it didn't bother the sleeping adults. Well stocked kitchen with the most amazing selection of organic teas ever! The host was extremely responsive to questions. I'd highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area.

"Perfect" best and accurately describes this property in that there are no aspects of the property that require improvement. The property listing was accurate, all communications with the property manager were without flaw, and the house and associated amenities were the best we've seen in a VRBO rental. Ultra clean and comfortable; in a quiet location. The Property Manager did not overlook a thing. Now that we've found this property, we will definitely travel to Denver more often and rent this property. Outstanding.

the first evening we were coming back from dinner my wife tripped over a slab in the front walk that was raised an inch or so above the one below it She banged up a knee, had cuts in a hand, and came within inches of hitting her head on the upper slab.

We found this classic remodeled house exactly as represented in the VRBO listing with all of the necessities and many extras. The host was extremely helpful and informative also. The house is close to restaurants and grocery stores, a short drive to Denver, and great location for our visit with family. We would highly recommend this house.

The size, cleanliness, comfort, decorations and (very importantly) the stove and cooking utensils were all as described . I had been concerned about the outside noise, since the house is close to Craig Hospital, and there IS outside noise!! However, it is quiet in the house. The house is so well insulated that the outside noise does not penetrate!! This was our 5th trip back to Denver since we moved away five years ago. We have stayed in 5 different locations and not one -- except this one -- has met our needs. We will stay there again.

Had a very nice stay in this up to date home. Very clean with large, well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. East facing Covered patio was good for hanging out during our summertime stay. The owner was very easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again!
