Recently refurbished three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with, arguably, the best view of the full length of Woolacombe beach and the closest holiday apartment to the wonderful sands.
Recent upgrades include: New kitchen; New flooring and carpets; New “zip link” bed in guest bedroom providing flexibility as a twin or a king size; New beds and furniture in third bedroom; Upgraded fibre broadband; New sofas; Reappointed ensuites.
Just along the Esplanade from Woolacombe village stands Hartland House; most regular visitors to Woolacombe will recognise this landmark building in a prime location opposite the main three-mile sandy beach. The apartment has an allocated parking space in the grounds and there is a great communal outdoor space with sun loungers and table and chairs overlooking the beach. Oceanview is a stunning three-bedroom, three-bathroom, first-floor apartment with the most superb sea views which makes an extremely special place to stay when holidaying in Woolacombe. Certainly, all is considered and catered for internally.
An internal hallway gives access to all rooms which lead off it. It is on one level once inside the first-floor apartment. As you enter the living area you are immediately struck by the view and it takes your breath away; so close to the beach you can hear the waves roll over the sandy shoreline, just magical!
The delightful newly refurbished open plan kitchen, diner and living room has a fully fitted new grey gloss kitchen at the rear, sofa seating and TV in the middle and a dining table and chairs plus built in window seat at the huge window to fully take in that view.
The kitchen benefits from an integrated fridge-freezer, double Bosch ovens, Bosch halogen hob, extractor, full-size dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, coffee machine, and microwave. In addition, the kitchen is fully stocked with smaller appliances, crockery, glassware, saucepans, utensils, etc (and even a full-sized kitchen mixer ready for baking!).
The fabulous master bedroom with king-sized bed looks out to the front with amazing views across Woolacombe Beach to the sea and sands of this iconic bay, literally paces away! It has full ensuite facilities, TV, substantial built-in wardrobes and has been recently recarpeted and redecorated. The second double bedroom, which can set up as either a king-sized bed or two twins at the rear of the apartment (please let us know how you want the beds when you book) also has a full ensuite shower room plus new furniture and carpets. The gorgeous bunk bedroom, again situated at the front of the property, has amazing sea and beach views. This bedroom enjoys exclusive use of the large family bathroom with shower over bath and also has a built-in wardrobe.
Outside there are delightful communal decking and patio areas to the side of the building complete with a private lock up shed (now easily identifiable) where wetsuits, beach gear and bodyboards can be stored. Wooden loungers and outdoor dining table and chairs make this sunny area ideal for spending the day when you are not wanting to be on the beach. The views, as you would expect, are outstanding from here. The owner has posted a video on YouTube demonstrating from “bed to beach” in two minutes!
There is an allocated parking for one car in the grounds. Parking is at a premium in Woolacombe and if further space is required, we suggest using the car park at Mortehoe, only a few minutes away – you can buy daily or weekly passes or pay when you park at the meter or by using the RingGo parking app. In lower season, it is possible to park on The Esplanade directly outside the property as well. Short term parking is available opposite throughout the year. Please contact us should you need further help.
A £200 security deposit is taken on a pre-authorised card and refunded four days after the holiday so long as no damage occurs.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in an apartment in Hartland House, and I cannot think of a better place to stay in Woolacombe. The view of the beach is just breathtaking!
The apartment itself was immaculately clean, and comfortable and had everything we could need as a family of 4 with two teenagers. The kitchen was very well equipped.
We would definitely return!

We had a superb week in apartment 3, arriving around 4.30 on friday to find it in a spotless condition, a welcome pint of milk in the fridge was a great touch to have tea to rid us of the dust of the road. A generous bottle of prosecco was also a pleasant surprise, and we could relax with the wonderful view from the lounge window, directly over woolacombe beach, bathed in mid-september sunshine. The shops are within 5 mins walk, and Londis had just about everything we needed for our daily provisions including newspapers. It's a real bonus having three bathrooms or shower rooms and toilets, which means, as a family, you don't hinder each other in the course of your ablutions. Everything in the kitchen appeared to be pretty new, and all the gadgets worked well, including the coffee machine , and pods, which thrilled my wife, being a connoisseur.
I only have two small niggles ; We had a problem getting the TV in the bedroom to work, and we struggled with the key box by the front door. One other thing to be noted is that the steps up from the road at the front are quite steep, and the handrails are broken which really should be fixed as it is quite dangerous.

We have been coming to Woolacombe for 20 years and Ocean View has to provide one of the best views available from the beach front properties. It has also been tastefully refurbished and is the best equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in, anywhere! It felt like our every need was thoughtfully catered for. All this combined with the fact that the waves lie only a stones throw across the road made our holiday in Woolacombe this year pretty near perfect!

Very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean throughout. 2 double beds with ensuite (one front facing overlooking the beach, the other one at the back with no view and the third bedroom was alos beach facing but equipped with bunk beds so realu only suitable for children
Living room was beach facing with very pleasant window seat and a brand new kitchen with island unit facing into the living area
The only draw back is there is only parking for one car, we parked a second car in Morthoe for the week at a cost of £32 which ws very reasonable but a nightmare to access

Wow!! Wonderful view, wonderful place.
Very clean, loved the window seat. Lots of luxuries provided (including coffee machine and milk frother!!)
Great location yards from the main beach and close to the centre for shops, restaurants, surf hire etc.. We thoroughly recommend the Sri Lankan curry on the beach at Barricane.
Super to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for our group of 6 . All beds and bedding lovely. Full use of communal outdoor area available.
We had 2 cars - only one space comes with the apartment - but used the overnight parking up at Morthoe which was easy enough and applied for a 7 day permit (or can pay by the day using RingGo app).
Easy booking through Holiday Home Hunter and very helpful.

Great location and accomodation
Oceanview really does have an ocean view! Woolacombe's great big beach is 60 seconds walk away. The accommodation is comfortable. The showers, heating, kitchen appliances all work well. Worth noting that Oceanview is in an apartment complex that asks you not to bring your beach stuff into the apartment, so you have to figure out how to find and access the right outdoor storage hut. Otherwise, everything is straightforward.

Great location, great views and very comfortable.
Ocean View really does offer a wonderful and convenient location with great views over the vast expanse of Woolacombe's huge beach. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well serviced with warm powerful showers. Two bedrooms have an ensuite shower and the apartment also offers a pleasant bathroom. You'll have to share one common space for kitchen, meals and lounge/TV but that isn't a really a problem for a holiday that has so much outdoor potential.
A couple of very tiny niggles that did not affect our holiday. One tap in the second ensuite shower room doesn't seem to work. The Sky TV setup is a bit complex and unnecessary as most of the special stations are unavailable (a newer Freeview TV would be simpler). We couldn't find any instructions for surfboard storage but worked out that the key (marked Apartment 4, although this is Apartment 3) in the tray unlocks the bolt for the third (ie middle) storage shed of five at the very back of the garden and not the smaller sheds with numbers on them. Not really a problem. The flat has plenty of taps, the TV can be figured out and the storage shed is very spacious once you find it.

Great rooms with a fab view and great location
The apartment was situated in a fantastic area on Woolacombe Beach. Located right across the road from the beach and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes.
Rooms were really spacey and fantastic high ceilings with comfortable furniture and fittings.
Beds were really comfy and all with an en-suite except the small 3rd bedroom.
Fab family bathroom.
The apartment was of a clean standard but could do with a lick of paint.
Great for kids.
