It was very interesting and unique, definitely an English Cottage. The home has a nice kitchen to fix meals. Very quiet and quaint neighborhood. Mins from restaurants, movie theater, and shopping.
When I first arrived it was very dark. There was no light on outside, however the owner quickly remedied that by installing a new light.

Very reasonable price therefore very good value for money. Very Clean . Very "homey" with "personality".
Great Friendly Property manager/ owner.
Quiet central location. Internet and cable TV worked Great. Bed was nice and Firm.
Gives an old classic, high end neighborhood feel for the city.
Best for multi night stays to experience Greensboro; Best for Solo Traveler.
Not your typical "convenience" Hotel, but no major problems. Read Room Descriptions carefully.
Hours of access to Hotel can be limited at check-in -- No "main Lobby".
I hurt my knee before the trip and failed to consider the Cottage-Home does not have elevators;
My Nice Big Room meant 2 floors of stair climbing. Many printed "rules" to read and no eating in rooms
( Excellent Floor One shared kitchen w Refrig and food/beverage storage + utensils available ).
No quick highway exit access and Maybe Not the best place for a (arrive late) one night "sleep and go".
Some rooms are very small (no TV? ), but duly noted in the the room descriptions and priced accordingly.
Parking off side/shoulder of quiet road opposite of cottage is a little awkward.

The room was cozy and comfortable. It was like being 'home away from home.' Keith generously gave us access to his home, from the kitchen to the laundry. We could cook in the kitchen and had our own shelf in the fridge and pantry. There was plenty of room to relax and socialize. The location was superb for shopping and dining, and the walking trail in front of the house ran along the lake was ideal for a relaxing stroll. This is a definite repeat!
There was a bad rainstorm during our stay and the road flooded. However, as soon as the rain stopped, the water receded quickly and the road was clear.

I liked that I could get a good morning walk into downtown. I liked that it was quiet and the staff was very friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. There is a free Trolley that takes you around town. Keith has a binder with all the information you will need.

It was budget-friendly and close to the city center.
The bed wasn't comfortable for me, but i guess you get what you pay for...

This stay was an absolute steal! A lovely, cozy room in a beautiful house. My sister and I laughed really good for an hour reading the funny puns/jokes the host had in the binder!

Very good price considering the cute neighborhood and its close proximity to downtown.
It's a loud old house so bring ear buds if you are a light sleeper.
Bathroom and shower floor was not as clean as one would hope.

It was like coming home, very cozy; only wish the stay could have been longer. Many thanks to Keith for his patience, the instructions were concise.
I would have slept better if I had discovered the source of a constant drip, found early in the morning in the hallway shower.

The location is great. I really liked the host Keith. He was quite pleasant and welcoming.
I have no complaints.

Clean, quiet, inexpensive place to sleep between 12 hr shifts. Keith is awesome!

Room was comfortable, lots of amenities (most of which were clean) price was fair, and location is great too
Owner was very unpleasant to deal with. Had a small misunderstanding with him over which room I was supposed to be staying in, which he decided would be best dealt with by arguing with me and calling me a thief, after angrily pounding on the door while I was showering and getting dressed. He also constantly (very non-discreetly) hacks up mucus, which can make it pretty difficult to eat while listening to it. House also has paper thin walls, so if you have an active housemate that night, prepare to hear everything they’re doing.

The house was located across the road from a beautiful path/park. I wish I'd had the time to go for a walk.
I was only a few minutes down the road from where I needed to be for my event.
My room was clean and the perfect size for a single traveler.

Lovely neighborhood and older, large, historic home. Good value for the price paid. Although I am used to having a fitness center and free breakfast as I normally stay at hotels. The home was quiet, has free laundry, free wifi, free kitchen and refrigerator access and you are also able to have enjoy the dining room and kitchen to fix meals. My room had a nice sized tv with a private bathroom. And there are also TV’s in the living room and kitchen as some rooms do not have TV’s. There is also a walkway, park just across the street where you can bike, access a playground, etc. Restaurants are a short drive a way and There is also food delivery available. The owner lives in the basement of the home and responds quickly when needed.
The only thing I did not like was not being able to eat in my room but I do understand why he does not allow it. I do think this should be noted so that people are aware before they book. I have social anxiety so this was a challenge for me but I did not have any issues when eating in the dining room as it was usually empty. I have also owned an older home so I do understand.

Great location, comfortable room, well equipped kitchen. Everything was clearly explained in the instruction folder (plus some pretty funny jokes and puns:)

It is Ina quiet location, and the room was very comfortable and cozy.

The price I suppose.
Room so cramped I could barely walk around it. Rooms packed together so I could hear every sound the people next to me made. Sneaking around in the dark not wanting to wake anyone else. Trying to figure out which key was mine because the room that I reserved wasn't listed in any of the emails and there were two possibilities.

Very pretty location, near the downtown, yet quiet, tree-lined. One fellow guest, interesting person who was cooking his dinner in the well-stocked kitchen. Keith has organized refrigerator and cabinet space for each guest, with full use of the kitchen.

it was in a good area

The location was convenient to downtown by car and to many restaurants nearby. It was in a park-like setting with off-street parking. However, it was very comfortable and relatively quiet.
The place was a bit outdated, but that was part of the appeal of an older English cottage. The room could have been a little bit cleaner, there was dust around the baseboards.
