it was quiet. Very nice friendly neighbours
It felt stark in the sitting room, no real ambiance because it was quite brown & bare. Settee too shallow and small.
No shower which I think should be stated on facilities.
The TV was very basic

Beautiful garden and very well decorated house
4.4
Great location and really well finished the cottage was immaculate
It really needs to have a proper shower facility
4.4
Great location and very cosy property with the bonus of a beautiful gardens with exceptional views!

We loved this cottage! Charming and cosy but with a clean, contemporary style. Compact but not cramped and so many lovely touches …. fluffy towels and coffee machine and pods were top of the list! 😍 We had a few questions about what we would find in the cottage/what we would need to bring and also an eleventh hour query about arrival time …. all answered super promptly and couldn’t have been more helpful. We hope to come back soon 😊
Nothing really!

Parking was the only problem as other local residents tended you use the allocated space which was not near the cottage.Otherwise everything was great

.
Bath only, no shower.

Pretty cottage, nicely decorated with some thoughtful touches
Good size rooms - although the table and chairs squeezed under the stairs does not work and is not really usable.
The kitchen is modern and has all basic equipment
Large two level outdoor area with seating and great views
Quiet location approximately 15/20 mins walk from central Hexham (there is a nearby footpath which is a short cut and brings you out by the bus station ) which has easy transport links to the Hadrians Wall sites. (If you don't have a car, be aware that the walk to the cottage is mostly uphill and quite steep)
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage
These comments are very much the same as numerous others which have been left on this site
The cottage was difficult to find, when approaching up the B6306 you need to turn left after Shield Court into Fellside
There is no shower and while it looks nice the bath is impractically small
There are unnecessary low hanging lights to hit your head on
The cottage could do with some maintenance, eg. the sofa and chairs have seen better days, bathroom light switch unreliable and the bathroom hot tap is very loose
Unable to turn off the led strip lights in the kitchen and bathroom and no reply from Hexham holiday homes when we asked
Freeview TV had poor reception on most channels with no streaming or casting capability (luckily we had a Firestick to stream)
4.4
clean well thought out and well equipped
a little further walking than we thought to town centre .
electrics lovely but a little confusing as how to operate small pin lights in kitchen and bathroom

- nice house, decorated by someone who cares and loves their own home
- nice garden view
- amount of birds, wildlife in the garden
- fireplace
- pigeon fanciers' pigeons flying around in circles
- texted man about passcode to get key on their mandatory app, did not get reply
- parking space not available next to the house when plenty of jealous neighbours never move their cars from their house, the car is just an accessory at the front door, causing zero parking space for people who actually use cars
- crazy neighbours fighting over parking spaces, an old man shouted at us on the night we arrived that we could not park
outside when we were just unloading.
- single lane, one way road crammed with houses and mad neighbours who are jealous, sad, selfish and competitive
- the same cars fighting for the few spaces available
- jealous people talking extremely loudly every morning at the same time every day first thing in the morning at 7am, outside the window to our bedroom, disrupting our sleep and peace
- house crammed with too much furniture when there is only space for two people when they say they can take four
- one bathroom
- ventilation was not good. windows open to the main road where people are walking. after ventilating a bedroom that reeked of teenage deodorant for two weeks, the smell did not go away.

Location was ideal, very tranquil but within 5 minutes your in a historical beautiful town, plenty of areas to dine, drink and shop. Or even better to browse though and look at History of the area
The lounge area facilities need updating, although sturdy the cushions / seats need replacing. Bath was to small although a nice feature couldn't bathe / relax easily
4.4
property was fantastic inside out outside space fully functional kitchen nice dinning area lovely bathroom
everything was fab only one suggestion lovely back garden lacking a hot tub
4.4
well equipped comfortable stone Cottage in a peaceful location with everything you need for your stay.
4.4
The cottage is clean, modern and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Great location for visiting Hadrian’s Wall sites, as it’s within easy driving distance.
The parking situation was a bit disappointing—you can’t park outside the property, you have to leave the car in a turning area down the road that has a “no parking” sign. It wasn’t far away, but it would have been nice to have parking spaces signposted, so you don’t feel like you’re leaving your car in a “no parking” zone.
4.4
Very cosy, well appointed cottage. Pleasing quiet outdoor space.
Enjoyed having full range of kitchen electrical white goods.
Signage for the parking space was confusing.
4.4
Location excellent for walking, transport links easy to access. Cosy cottage with a fantastic outside seating area. Luxurious bathroom and comfy bed.
4.4
Car parking while possible outside was really tight and on a narrow road.
4.4
Cosy cottage feel with great views from a terrace. Easy access to supermarkets, fuel and local shops.
Parking could be better. tight fit on the road and the turning circle which was supposed to be owned by the property was already full of parked cars
4.4
Gorgeous cottage, what's not to like!!

the cottage was beautiful, lovely views out the back window and a lovely decking area to sit in and admire it. the cottage was very clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. We would totally recommend
only down side is parking, we managed to park on the road further past the property
4.4
Perfect for a couple or small family. Well equipped house with comfortable feel.
Parking isn’t ideal with very limited local space typically occupied by residents.
4.4
the furnishings and view
The car parking was a lottery and when we arrived the next door neighbour (Victor Meldrew) came out to tell us we couldn’t park there as we unloaded our car… it took an hour to eventually get a space at the designated parking space due to it having 4 cars already parked in there!
4.4
Property pre communication. Fantastic property and standards.
Nothing.
4.4
Property as described and very convenient to town and local walks
Postcode given within this properties details is incorrect, thus struggled to find this property
4.4
Ifell on the decking as soon as i went in i went to explore fell flat on my back hurt my neck and got a large lump on my back as there was no outside lights and no warning saying it would be slippy it was black ice should of had a warning as i am really suffering now also it spoilt it for myself
4.4
the property was very clean, peaceful and good location for a walk into the town
can’t park outside property, had to park at the turning point which isn’t ideal when unpacking loads of bags etc
4.4
Didn’t have a key code sent to us
Needs a full set of glasses and wine opener , no parking
4.4
The cottage was really cosy and warm. A lot of trouble had been taken to make it look inviting and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely view from the terrace at the back; we were able to sit out one afternoon even though it was October.
I hadn’t noticed on the details that there was no shower, just a mixer on the taps, (although the bathroom was beautiful). It was a bit of a pain but certainly didn’t spoil our stay overall.
4.4
The cottage was very comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. Pleasant outdoor space but too cold to use in October.
Parking was slightly difficult but not a problem.
4.4
The property was beautifully kept and decorated, it was kept warm for us on arrival and everything was so clean and comfortable.
All the information we needed was provided prior to arrival and we felt at home straight away.
The address on the booking didn't lead us to the cottage itself so it was a bit harder to find and we did have some issues with the code to the lockbox not working (but this was resolved really quickly by the staff who were very kind about it)
