It was comfortable, convenient and value for money

The location, the staff, it was clean and comfortable and good value

The shower was tepid even on the hottest setting. It was a bit tatty in places in the room. It would’ve been helpful to have a second beside table and lamp.

We keep returning

As we've stated in our numerous reviews of the Station Inn,we can only speak highly of this establishment, the staff and the room. Due to over indulging in the numerous bars we visited the previous night,we decided to forego the normally delicious full English breakfast and opted for scrambled eggs and toast,this proved to be a good decision as the eggs wet perfectly cooked,so creamy and light.Thanks chef. See you next month.

Staff are some of the most helpful, good-natured we've had. Good food!

The breakfast was amazing! The staff are beyond helpful and accommodating. Between food and staff, the inconveniences of an older building (no lift; narrow, twisting stairs to upper rooms; no parking) were more than adequately compensated for. The location is a bit awkward to access but once unloaded and situated, it made for a pleasant stay.

The Staion Inn exceeded our expectations, great value for money

The Rooms were clean, quality bed, furnishings and bathroom with shower, all very good. Great staff and breakfats freshly cooked to order. really good

no car park associated with the pub but pleanty of car parking easy walk.

Would definitely stay again when next in town

If you like a good breakfast good location friendly helpful staff and clean comfy room station Inn should be your choice

Comfortable, welcoming stay

Warm welcome by friendly staff. Room was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. Very quite and bed was very comfortable. Excellent range at breakfast including full English freshly cooked breakfast.

Super welcome but poor quality overnight accommodation.

The staff were very accommodating, from checking in through to our time in the bar area and breakfast in the morning.

The room was cramped and furniture was cheap and badly put together. Our daughter's bunk bed was very wobbly and our double was very springy. The room was quite cold, as was the whole pub, except for near the bar where there was an old gas heater. The restaurant was a good size but too cold to sit there to eat our evening meal.

A friendly well run stay

The location, friendliness of staff and quality of food and service was excellent. Beds were comfortable and we were even allowed a free late checkout which was much appreciated 👍

Room was a bit small and stairs a bit steep but all the good points more than made up for that.

I would book there again

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Lovely Ladies, very friendly. Breakfast and Sunday lunch was very good, plenty to eat and well cooked.

We took one look at the Station Inn and said no way. We stayed in the newly opened Travelodge. A much better idea.

The idea of staying at the Station Inn.filled us with dread.

Very enjoyable, if your not looking for the Savoy, book here!

It ie a Victorian building, as I expected. Though very old fashioned it is run 99% all women who are brilliant and ever so helpful, one part time man on a Sunday. Perfect place for a one night stop over. Meals are excellent, breakfast is brilliant. Lovely helpful staff, I will definitely use again. Thank you ladies!

The Station inn Hexham.

My brother and I were in room 3, it was a sweet little room with excellent tea/coffee facility's and a fantastic bathroom and shower facilities. The Staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. For what we paid it was truly exceptional for value for money. A hearty well done to the Station Inn. We will definitely be staying again.

A decent place to stay

Clean, spacious, great breakfasts and staff, close to train station

A small quibble but some of the plug sockets didn't work or the bedside lamp. Of the plugs that did work none were near the bathroom. AS there was no mirror near a socket I struggled using hair straighteners
