Rickardos B3 Mablethorpe

Bed was comfortable & parking

Most of the lights didn't work couldn't find the bedding until last minute. The electricity was Expensive 2 days £12.67p few tea makes on walls.

Lovely little chalet

Owner had great commuication before and at check in. Easy check in.

Sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable but fine for three nights We have also not received deposit back after more than 48 hours. Have not heard from owner since check in.

Lovely chalet, great location. Great for young children.

The location was great, loved how the patio lead onto the grass with small play area. So great for children. Having a dishwasher was fantastic! Oven was gleaming almost looked brand new. Overall the chalet was very clean.

The sofa bed was stained and very uncomfortable, dipped in the middle.. think it was very old. Not enough room for 2. Bathroom was lovely.. however it was smelly and the shower sealant needs changing as was black and mouldy. Still have not received my deposit back, we checked out on 27th August and is now 4th September. On the booking confirmation I should have received this back 48 hours after checkout, I have messaged the host twice and have had no reply.

Very disappointed and miss leading , felt like I was being bleed dry of money.

It was clean and had most things.

It was absolutely freezing to the point I went to Lidl to buy a heater, Booked for £50 a night to be told I have to pay for the electricity which worked out £12 I wasn’t in the property more than 13 hours lol. I was also informed after booking and paying that I need to pay an extra £100 security deposit and it didn’t stop there . I was then asked would I like bedding and a towel at an extra cost again of £7 with a Sur charge of £2 absolute joke I could of stayed at the Hilton the money spent 😡

A very relaxing and enjoyable short stay

I hadnt been given the code for the security box and so initially we couldnt get in. A phone call to the hosts was all it took, quick response and code given.

Not being able to enter upon arrival was a little irritating, only because by this point the children were ready for toilets and food. Nothing more than a little inconvenience and we were inside pretty soon after contacting the hosts. Finding the location of the property was a bit awkward, but once we found a map with the letters of each group of buildings, we were able to locate our accommodation. The sofa pull-out bed was very well used and dipped alot in the centre. Getting in and out was a little awkward as the dip was central, so fighting to get up wasnt the greatest experience.

The only place to stay in Mablethorpe

Absolutely fabulous chalet. Exceptionally clean. All you could possibly need, a real home from home experience. Very highly recommended and will most definitely be booking again in the future.

Modern fresh and very clean. Delighted with the level of care put into small touches like tea and coffee etc. Very well thought out..and the hosts were also very friendly.

Lovely stay

Warm clean, lovely location, great restaurant on site, friendly staff , good entertainment

Sofa bed in B3 is a double ,however due to a large dip in the middle, the roll together makes it impossible for two to sleep in, I slept on the floor

Stayed for 1 night. Was good the lady that gave us the keys was lovely.

Looks good at first but unfortunately not good enough

*EDIT* price was good and have no issues with holiday let prices going up and down as that's normal so the assumption I have an issue is untrue. Kitchen, flooring and bed mattress are good, bedding/linen was the issue Location and site good

*EDIT* I did mention the hairs on the bedding on Saturday but got no reply, the things I have mentioned are true with photos of proof, I'm glad you're going to look for yourself as this will confirm what I said. Bedding covered in hair's, floor freezing cold, electric cost me £2 in a little over 2 hours trying to warm it up so spent most of the time cold but still cost £12 approx in 3 nights, TV signal not great, didn't know about electric charges till after booking which to heat the property properly would of been very expensive, sofa dirty, sofa cushions constantly slide out, sofa arms can feel frame when lent on, cutlery broken, decking gate fitted badly, smoke alarm not working, couldn't work bathroom radiator, generally needs time spent sorting various small issues.

Avoid this chalet - it is disgusting!!

The location was known to us, and was easy to get to town.

The chalet was dirty, had old disgusting furniture, and the pillow and duvets were disgusting. The chalet smelt of dog and dirt and we were very unhappy with this chalet. My husband would not take his shoes off during this stay due to the cleanliness here. We had travelled 100 miles to spending the night, and it was NYE, so we had no choice but to stay, but I would urge other to think twice before booking this chalet.
