Blue Moon Lake Lodge is directly on Big Bear Lake and rental includes both the Main & Guest House. Most Big Bear rental homes are managed by large companies that use thin towels, low quality bedding and basic kitchen wares to maximize profits, we pride ourselves by including everything you have in your own home with the quality you’d expect in a luxury hotel.

The $50 pet fee goes directly to cleaning crew for the extra cleaning.

We've celebrated our friends birthday here the last 2 years and it never disappoints. It literally has everything you need for entertaining. Pool table, hot tub, arcade games, ping pong table, Lots of TV's, grill, fire pit and much more. We spend most of our time fishing, playing horse shoes and corn hole. The private dock is provides the perfect spot to fish and enjoy your morning coffee. The upstairs deck and downstairs patio has plenty of seating, umbrellas and probably the BEST views of all of Big Bear Lake. The privacy of the home is great too. Hopefully this home is available when we return next year.

Loved the location right on the lake. House was well stocked, lots of room, beds were clean and comfortable.
Backyard area was not cleaned well when we first checked in, but after messaging the host, he sent someone out right away and took care of it.

The house is amazing and Michael was a great host.
It’s got everything you can think of, pool table, ping pong, foose ball, arcade games, hot tub and more.
The rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels stocked for the large group we had. The dock was perfect for swimming in the lake and accommodated our pontoon rental. They really thought of everything with this place.
Will definitely be back for future Lake Big Bear trips and recommend you look no further than this house

Property is absolutely stunning and everything as was represented. The view is incredible and very peaceful neighborhood. The Town of Big Bear is just 15 minutes away so you can enjoy eating out or the shops and ski resorts. Seems like alot to do for families with children. This place will accommodate a cozy family gathering. The host left nothing out and quick to respond.

Beautiful cabin right in front of the lake. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The home was perfect for our big group of 14. Having the guest house is a plus! We were lucky enough to go on a beautiful weekend right after the snow storm. It was winter wonderland!! We would definitely come back in summer! It’s the prefect lake house for all season.

This is the 3rd year we have hosted a multi-generational girls trip at this property. We like the privacy, quiet location since it is located on the North Shore and easy walking/hiking. We bring our meals with us and there is everything we need in the kitchen and more. Plenty of glasses, plates, bowls, etc. etc. The property is very clean and stocked with plush towels and toiletries in the shower. The game room is an added benefit and the jacuzzi is placed to fully enjoy the lake view and surroundings. It is the perfect setting for a perfect weekend!

The location is perfect. The thoughtfulness of the host and amenities in the home were some of the best I have enjoyed at a VRBO and we are regular tenants. Our coffee maker was broken, however, the Krups coffee machine was more than adequate and the host replaced the coffee maker anyway. The home had everything for a great family vacation including a built in baby gate at the top of the stairs to hem in our 2 year old. I highly recommend this property.

They thought of everything. We brought yard games but they had a bunch there. Endless fun on the lake, playing pool, playing games, enjoying the weather and ending the day in the hot tub. Every room stocked with tv and power cords for your phone. Great place to stay.

Location is superb. The view from the Fawnskin side of the lake is better than from Big Bear City and this home is situated perfectly. Very quiet neighborhood. Very easy trip to get around the lake. The host communicates very well. All the amenities are available and easy to use.

This is second year we stayed at property and will probably make it an annual event. The view on the late is beautiful - we were a group of 8 and there is plenty of room for us to be together at the dining table or separate for reading or alone time. The kitchen is well stocked - we brought food for all our meals with plenty of dishes and a dish washer that works great. Property is very clean , upgraded towels and hot tub placed to enjoy the sunset. Close to North Shore hiking area. Highly recommend this property!

Fabulous stay!
We spent a long weekend with 12 friends of my daughter who will be married in 3 weeks. The goal was lots of time together and we planned meals so we did not have to coordinate movement to restaurants, etc. This house could not have been more perfect. First of all, the view alone was relaxing and stunning and set the mood. The living space worked for games, puzzles and meals. Hot tub got a lots of use! So much to do we just grazed the surface and wish we had more time. The kitchen was well stocked, as described in the description. The property was very clean and everyone appreciated the plush towels and shower amenities. Easy access to walk along the lake or the Cougar Trail. We may just make this a recurrent trip - was enjoyed by all!

This cabin is pretty awesome ! It has everything you can need for a great time. We enjoyed every single bit of it. Kitchen was fully stocked, coffee bar was a hit every morning. Boys loved the playroom, jacuzzi beautiful backyard area. The only thing I would say was not a negative but a little weird was the rooms downstairs from the living area and beds ... one of the rooms the beds are super high so don't plan on putting grandparents or little kids there and the other is just bunk beds, cant really have a couple there so really only one bedroom has a regular king bed, the other 2 are for like kids and teenagers. Other than that the place is amazing cant wait to return in the summer !!

Our favorite vacation each year
We love this place and love Big Bear Lake. Such a beautiful property with all the bells and whistles for us to have a great time. Games, spa, kitchen, TVs, chargers for devices and dock for your boat right on the lake. Michael thought of everything to make sure guests are comfortable. Michael was very responsive with any questions we had while we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year.!

Perfect house on the lake!
We traveled to Big Bear Lake from Arizona for a family getaway. The house had everything we could have wanted - quiet area, well-stocked, plenty of activities, and epic views. We had a group ranging from age 1-60 and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly! Perfect spot for groups and families.

House had everything we needed and more. Michael was communicative and helpful. We had two families with children stay in the main house and the grandparents enjoyed the casita. Beautiful lakeside retreat!
My only suggestion would be to have the home cleaned more thoroughly in between guests. The floors were vacuumed, but the kids feet quickly became dirty on the first day, so mopping would be recommended.

-cleanliness: unfortunately, this is the one reason that I did not give
5 stars. Cleaners need to better dust and clean of all furniture (yes, even under the kitchen mat), there were bugs inside the house despite strict keeping screens closed (hole in the screen possible etiology?) It should have been cleaner. Lots of dog hair from previous guests. Too dusty.
