All facilities clean and working well, smartly decorated, comfy beds, plenty of space, friendly hosts nearby.
If you have a car it is as good a location as any to tour Northern Ireland - an hour from each of the Causeway Coast and Belfast and 25 minutes from Londonderry city. Handy local store a few minutes drive away.
Nothing really - there aren't really any places to eat very close but that wasn't a problem, we ate out at the end of each day touring and had a good breakfast before heading out.

Fantastic house

We have just returned from a wonderful 4 nights at The Coach House. There were 3 adults and 5 children in our party. We were warmly greeted by Peter upon our arrival. He showed us around the immaculate house and was on hand throughout our stay if we needed anything.
The house is situated right on the forest, with a great trail which was perfect for the runners in our group.
I couldn't fault anything about the house. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities required for our stay. I would highly recommend!

A hidden gem. Beautiful location and property. An old coach house that has been restored beautifully in keeping with the period. Peter and Teresa are lovely hosts who live on site. They are there if needed but not intrusive.
It was very spacious with 4 good size bedrooms , a large family bathroom and ensuite off the master bedroom. Downstairs had a large lounge, games room, good size kitchen, utilty and downstairs toilet.
We were never far from beauty spots and the many stunning beaches in Northern Ireland . A day to historic Derry, my birthplace, was only a 25 min drive. Park at Ebrington for free and walk across the Peace Bridge. Our grandchildren loved the fountains outside the guildhall and spent a pleasant time running through. It was a nice way to cool down on a hot sunny day. We were very lucky to get unbroken sunshine for our weeks holiday.
Nearby Claudy had a great selection of shops to fulfill every need during our stay. Park was very close by and a lovely walk through the woods by the river took you to a lovely play park ideal for our little ones.
Our property faced a derelict Castle , not a bad view to wake up to every morning.
I would highly recommend this property.
Because we had little ones we cooked most nights and found kitchenware in short supply. The dishwasher was temperamental and the tumble dryer didn't work. However Peter said we could use their one in an outside shed. As the weather was so good we managed to dry clothes outside so didn't need to use it.
These points aren't actually criticisms but observations and possibly wouldn't be a problem for a lot of adult guests. It certainly wouldn't put me off stopping here again. It was the cleanest and most unique property we have ever rented.

The house was spacious, clean and located in a beautiful location. It was so peaceful to stay there and yet, so easy to access the nearby villages and Derry city.
Would have preferred to have internet.

The coach house is beautiful. Was recommended to us by family who live near by. The house is spotless, hosts very friendly. Location was perfect for us, never had time to explore our surroundings thi tike but would definitely book to go back and spend more than a long weekend here.
Would highly recommend the coach house.
No bad points at all.

The house was much bigger than the pictures show and the pool table was awesome.
A few instructions would be helpful but nothing major

The house, the owner and the value for money were exceptional. We came for a wedding and needed taxis as we weren't hiring a car. The owner provided us with a friend who had a mini bus (there were 5 of us) and his rates were extremely fair and his service exceptional. The house is exceptional - particularly the beds, the lounge and the pool room! It is the best bargain I have ever got from Booking.com.
There was a whole day power cut for essential electric work in the area. But get this. The owner put on a generator for us. Which was good as it started the morning of the wedding we were attending!

Lovely 4 bedroomed house in a charming location. Met on arrival and owner was very helpful with anything we needed.

Stunning quiet location but close enough to the village.

The size of the property was amazing, perfect for our family and my Mother too. The location perfect for seeing family nearby. The property has been renovated to a good standard, we loved the traditional features. Everywhere was spotless, bedding and towels were really good quality. The cooking facilities were great, we cooked for 11 on Easter Sunday! The games room is a great idea, the children loved the snooker table. The washing machine was really useful.
The ironing board needs replacing, the spotlights in the showers need new bulbs and a broom to sweep the kitchen would be useful, but it would not stop us coming, we loved it here, they are just a few things to make it even better.

This property is situated on old castle grounds in the middle of a forest, absolutely beautiful scenery and the property looks directly at the old castle with a lovely pond and garden. Inside the property was immaculate and beautifully finished and was perfect for our family of 8. The pool room was great fun aswell and Peter the host was more than welcoming. We will definitely be back
We have nothing bad to say everything was excellent

Nice to have a stove on in the dining room, the Leisure 110 cooker was the absolute business. Could cook on that quite happily. Was also good we had the kids in separate rooms and enjoy ourselves downstairs playing pool.
Would happily go back.
Everything about it was what we expected. Really enjoyed the break
