Superb cruise

The staff were excellent and looked after us really well. They arranged WiFi on board for us and even stopped off to buy us some wine to drink with our meal on our last night. We saw some amazing birds and learned a lot of interesting facts about the Backwaters. The food was delicious and we didn’t have the same dish twice. We even ate traditional Keralan festival food. We had a boat to ourselves and were very lucky with the weather. It was a relaxing time. We felt really sad to leave.

The food prepared by the staff was awesome and homely The service from the staff was excellent The overall houseboat experience was quite nice

The pillows in the room were very uncomfortable There was a typical smell in the room which could be improved (I understand this is difficult given the arrangement but something can definitely be done about it)

Brilliant experience

fantastic crew, beautiful location, absolutely nothing to dislike. as soon as we parked up for the night the aircon was connected for our room, which was highly efficient. Catering on board was excellent.

Amazing experience. Attentive staff. Beautiful views

Amazing night on the houseboat. Welcoming team, great food (Indian cuisine for lunch, dinner and breakfast), relaxing atmosphere, air conditioned room plus mosquito net.

Small details - the chairs could have dine with some footstools to relax on - the cushioned front section was in the sun and too hot to relax on! The shower holder was broken

Amazing experience

Truly amazing cruise, very relaxing and enjoyable. The boat was beautiful and traditional, very comfortable with a lounge zone in front from where we could enjoy the views. We appreciated all the small touches and decorations on the boat. There were four crew members - all of them very nice and friendly. The food was so delicious, especially the fresh seafood! And the surrounding nature was just astonishing! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

An unforgettable experience

lovely staff!! enjoyed the peaceful boathouse! hats off to the chef for wonderfully cooked meals, and the rest of the staff we very polite and friendly. The boat was very clean and so glad it wasn’t noisy.. you get a lovely feeling when it sails! saw lots of beautiful waterlilies blooming in the morning!

A must do in Kerala!

Highlight of our trip to Kerala. Beautiful houseboat, with a great cruise down the backwaters. Food was out of this world, great local tastes, so fresh! Staff were extremely kind and helpful!

No complaints, We should have stayed 2 nights!

Beyond expectations. Worth the price! 100% recommended by a seasoned traveller, private boat for 2.

All staff from the airport greeting, GM on site, Boat Captain, cool and first mate were exceptional with professional and personal service. Messages prior to arrival were detailed and specific with excellent follow through. Trip itself was relaxing, food excellent and boat crew friendly. They enjoy and take pride in their jobs and area and it shows.

Everything was perfect. originally, I had booked with another company. Their replies were slow and not accurate and seemed shady. I cancelled the other company and booked Spice Coast. 100% worth it.

Exceptional

The traditional Kerala rice boats updated to beautiful boat houses. The room and toilet were so clean, the traditional Kerala food was delicious and the staff was just superb. They did everything for us to feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. During the journey they guided and showed us the beautiful Kerala flora and fauna. We hope we can come back again.

Superb

Food, Backwater route/view, and the crew! Crew members were polite and tried their best to fulfill all the wishes made on board. Even reversed and stopped the boat near a local fisherman's small boat when I made a wish to try the freshly caught clamps. Food was authentic, hygienic and delicious. Overall it was a great experience. Boat: Spice Coast Cruises boat no.1 Crew members: Mr. Sanil, Mr. Santosh and Mr. Kochhowan (Chef/Cook).

Bed was infested with bedbugs. Woke up to a lot of super itchy bites on my leg and upper arms.
