Enjoy all four seasons of the Blue Ridge Mountains in our large, well furnished, executive-level retreat. Located at the top of the mountain in Wintergreen Resort, which is located in beautiful (one stoplight) Nelson County, and just southwest of Charlottesville, VA (Monticello and the University of Virginia). Wintergreen is the perfect mountain retreat for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, biking, golf, tennis, skiing, and other activities, as well as those who just want to kick back and relax. Locally, there are many interesting activities, such as many breweries and vineyards, shopping, fishing, kayaking, apple picking, and sightseeing at significant historical sites.
Our spacious, 3000-plus-square-foot, luxury, vacation home is conveniently located just approximately 100 steps away from the Tyro ski slope and across the street from a hiking trail. Our home has the true mountain feeling with a wonderful wooded site and some views of the ski slopes and the mountains.
This non-smoking home features:
* Upper level: two large master bedrooms with king-size beds; great room and gourmet kitchen (with breakfast bar) with soaring tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and lots of windows; wood burning fireplace and LED TV with surround sound, private executive office with broadband internet, powder room, deck and gas grill.
* Lower level: master bedroom with queen-size bed and full bathroom, and two additional bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with double + bunk bed) that share a full bathroom; highly functional mud room to unwind after a day on the slopes that includes a ski and snowboard stand, benches to remove your shoes or boots, plenty of hooks for your jackets and gloves, and washer and dryer; living/recreation room with a 55' HD TV and surround sound, Xbox 360 and games, and table and chairs for card games, puzzles, or using your laptop with a wireless broadband internet connection.
Overall, our well-appointed vacation house is ideal for large families or shared by several families, or as your corporate retreat. This is a fabulous home for a very reasonable price.

We arrived for a 4th of July stay in the mountains to a beautiful home with lots of space for kids to stay (we slept 5 kids and 4 adults). We were also pleasantly surprised when we found the AC broken, but the property manager was able to have someone come out, on the 4th of July, to fix it within 3hrs of the notification. We had a blast hiking, swimming, and enjoying wintergreen's 4th of July festivities. We would recommend this home to any family with kids.

We had a family girls trip for a long weekend in Wintergreen. Check in was super easy as was check out. The house was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Our host was very responsive and helpful!

This property was idea for us. There were four couples and we each had our own bedroom and bath. Great living room and large eat-in kitchen. Every item that we needed was provided. Unit was spotless and met all our needs.

This home is a very well built and designed home. The large windows made for beautiful views overlooking Wintergreen. Clean and decorated well. We had nice beds, clean bathrooms & nice towels. Large eat in kitchen and plenty appliances for cooking.

We had a wonderful stay at this wintergreen property. Kim is fantastic to work with. The wood burning fireplace in the family gathering room was a big hit. The outdoor firepit was a welcomed sight. Tyro ski slope is a short uphill walk from the house. It would be difficult to walk in ski boots, but if the roads were covered in snow, you could ski back to the house, down the road.

Fantastic Blue Ridge Getaway
The photos don't do this place justice—this chalet was the perfect summer getaway as an art retreat for my friends and I. Comfortable, quiet, well-appointed, and clean—we loved the high ceilings in the main common area and outdoor balcony for hanging out and eating together. Enthusiastically recommend! We stayed in the off-season and it was still great—I'm sure if you love skiing it's even better.

Great 3 -Generation Family Vacation House
This is the best house I've ever rented and by far the cleanest. Also, the best equipped - from plenty of towels and firewood to comfortable beds to excellent internet connection to an abundance of flatware, dishes and small appliances. Everything works perfectly and there was nothing that we needed that we didn't have. In addition, the owner is super responsive and communicates clearly. She seemed to care that my family had a good vacation. We certainly did!
