We had a very nice time the view from the cabin was spectacular and the cabin was very nice. We did have a problem with a sliding door in bathroom on main floor, it kept getting stuck . Overall our stay was excellent.

We had an incredible stay at Misty Mountain Adventure Lodge. The views from the deck were best of the best. It takes a little extra time to get up the mountain on windy roads, but the view is totally worth it. Also just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin had everything you would need (if you drink a lot of coffee you might bring a coffee maker there was only a single serve drip) and fit 14 people comfortably. The check in and check out process was smooth and the office was always available. I would definitely go back!

Pros Amazing view beautiful home but cleaning is well below standard. The house had plenty of space for all of our guests. Lots of cooking utensils and pots and pans. View was amazing very quiet area. Drive is steep but very manageable. Cons - Check in was suppose to be at 3pm receive numerous texts throughout the day that cabin was not ready but we were already on the road into our 4hr drive. We arrived at the cabin at 5pm and the cleaning crew had still not arrived. We could see through the windows beds unmade and dirty dishes on the table. We had to go to a restaurant and lost most of our food in the cooler. Finally received a text at 6pm that house was ready. Absolutely no way to clean a house that big in 45 mins.Got to the house dishwasher still running. Beds were not neatly made. Hot tub was never cleaned. There was a huge ring around the tub and black trash immediately bubbled up when we turned the jets on. House was beautiful and great view we even saw a mama bear and cub right in front of the cabin but a new cleaning staff with better time management is definitely needed

We had a great experience here, there were 11 of us (3 generations with grandparents and younger kids) and there were enough sleeping spaces and 4.5 bathrooms. The first floor is open to the kitchen with 2 full bedrooms with in-room bathrooms. It’s also wheelchair accessible. The road getting up to the property is really windy and can be narrow at times but this is why the view is gorgeous - I worry about road conditions in the winter. The house had quite a few maintenance issues like doors being jammed, but the management company was really easy to work with and someone came out right away to fix things - but we only had major things fixed, there was still an issue with one of the sliding doors to a bathroom that was hard to keep closed and the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms kept falling off. The views are gorgeous and the amenities were great for kids with the movie theater and pool table, hot tub and grill. A family of bears lives in the area. Overall I would recommend it.

House was perfect for our family! Beautiful views! The security was so helpful! My car wouldn’t start and they came to jump us as well as clear and salt the roads so we could get down the mountain. The rental company was also very responsive and helpful!

This was the first time staying with Elk Springs Resort. Was not happy with the condition of the cabin but did not call and complain. Did talk to them the day after we left and they said they would look into our problems. Don't know if we will stay with them again.

First of all, the house is described as having a few “curvy roads” leading up to it. That is a gross understatement. The roads are treacherous, especially ascending. We canceled all late evening dinner reservations we had made, so we would not ever return to the cabin at night.
The house is advertised as sleeping/accommodating 14, but there were not near enough supplies for that. There were only 5 dinner forks, 4 dinner knives, ONE WINE GLASS, etc. Really ridiculous. We had to drink our expensive bottle of wine out of coffee cups.
The bathrooms were not clean. The rugs in the bathrooms were very stained. There was trash and used tissues in two of the bathrooms when we arrived. Two of the showers had a hair build-up on the drain cover, which I cleaned myself before using the shower. It was not enough, since the drain below the drain plate was clogged and the water in the shower got above my ankles while taking a quick shower. Gross! In all, two showers in the house did not drain.
The beds were all very uncomfortable and the pillows flat and old. The bedspreads did not smell clean and had been sprayed with an oder remover that some low-end hotels use. There were boogers still on the sheets of my bed and there was candy on the floor under the nightstand.
The window glass was very dirty looking out, there was no remote control to operate the main room TV. The fireplace was broken. One lamp had soda or something spilled all over the lamp and the shade. The sofa had 3-4 tears in the leather. E

Most of the blinds in the house were broken and not operating well. The kitchen sink had coffee grinds in it when we arrived. The windowsill above the kitchen sink had dead bugs on it ....one windowsill had a piece of pasta on it.

We loved this Cabin. It's in great shape and so many amenities that you love. Fanominal wall of windows showcases the cabins beautiful views of the mountains. An enormous covered balcony with fireplace and Adirondack chairs was wonderful. The pool table and theater room were nice as well.

The view and the drive up to the cabin was beautiful. We had so many things go wrong with our five night trip and I was highly disappointed. The evening that we arrived one of the bedroom toilets was stopped up from prior renters and with the first use and we had to call maintenance. We realized none of the fireplaces were turned on for us to be able to use and that wasn’t able to be fixed till the following day. The downstairs bathtub was leaking from the base when used. Both the stand up showers had a good 6 inches of soap scum at the base of the showers. There were gnats the entire time we were there in the kitchen from the first day. The hot tub had a big scum ring around the top on the first time we got in it. The ceiling fan in the downstairs room wasn’t working and needed new batteries from maintenance. The power tripped and went out multiple times in different areas. Or time while my mother in law was in the theater room sleeping in the recliner using her oxygen. The thermostat had it to where you couldn’t set it lower than 70 and there were numerous times where it seemed to go back up on its own. We like to sleep cold so that was very frustrating. There was very minimal cooking supplies and what was there was scratched and needed to be replaced. It tells you after you book that there is starter supplies for you which ended up meaning we had one extra trash bag, two dishwasher tabs and one laundry packet. That was frustrating for a large cabin and five nights we obviously needed more and had to buy. I believe we needed up having to call maintenance out for the toilet, fireplaces, power outages about 8 times during our stay. I can honestly say out of all the vacation homes I’ve ever booked I have never paid this much, prior to this trip never had to call maintenance, never had dirty issues and never had such short supplies in the kitchen and basic cleaning needs. It was truly frustrating to have to deal with these things while on

We had a great time at this beautiful cabin! The views are phenomenal and we had so much fun with the theater room and pool table downstairs! The kids loved being able to go in the movie theater to watch whatever they wanted. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Awesome shower and bathtub in the upstairs bedrooms! Only complaint is that the grill and oven did not keep a stable temperature which made it very hard to cook at home. The oven temperature kept dropping while we were cooking and the grill heated up significantly more on one half than the other.Thank you for the great stay!

Wow, when you walk inside the cabin and see the view. Lots of room for the 13 of us. Bears visited so make sure your doors to your vehicles are always locked. I think most people should know this but always a good reminder. Basic housekeeping was done but this beautiful cabin could use a good cleaning and dusting. Once again the view and the cabin make up for it though. We loved our family time at this cabin and would totally rent it again.

Easy check in and the view was amazing. Very disappointed with the cleanliness over all. Dead bugs in window sills; heavy dust on blinds and lighting fixtures in bathrooms, killed several centipedes in downstairs area, shower fixture not working in master. Cobwebs noticed in many corners of the house.

The property is beautiful, spacious and has everything you would need. Location is truly atop the mountain. Would go again if the following was better:
*property was not ready at check-in time. Cleaning crew came 10 minutes before check in time and definitely did not do the best job in cleaning.
*sheets were changed but top linen was dirty and not replaced
*stairways were dirty, walls near light switches were dirty with liquid spills,
*ants on game level floor

We recently rented this cabin & had a wonderful time! We began booking our annual family cabin trips with Elk Springs Lodge over 5 years ago. We’ve stayed in a different cabin each time. We’ve been very pleased with Elk Springs & will continue to book our trips only through them, as we’ve rented with them enough to know that we’re in good hands when it comes to booking a cabin rental online. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this particular cabin...very spacious but you still feel the comforts of a home. Overall, the cabin was amazing. The views are breathtakingly beautiful. The cabin sits at the very top of a mountain...Just want to mention that there are very curvy roads leading up to the cabin & would suggest not arriving after dark for check-in day. The parking area is amazing & can easily fit 3-4 vehicles. Kitchen was very useful as we stayed in to cook most of our meals. *Cons: The gas grill(located outside) did not have enough gas for cooking & unfortunately, it wasn’t something we had thought about purchasing prior to our arrival. This could easily be considered fault of our own as the renter would be the responsible party to purchase an item such as that to use the grill. However, it would have simply been HELPFUL if we would have been notified & made aware prior to our arrival. We actually checked in 1 day late so there was plenty of time for someone to kindly let us know, just as a courtesy. *Cons: I, as I do with any vacation rental during this pandemic, immediately begin wiping down the entire rental upon arrival, just for peace of mind. This isn’t exclusive to Elk Springs as I do this on any vacation trip now. I only mention this part because if you are renting/paying good money to stay in a large & exquisite cabin such as this one, it should be very clean. Not perfect as I don’t expect perfection. But despite the cabin living area looking clean to the eye, I cleaned every table and they were filthy with

This was my friends & I first time renting a cabin and visiting Gatlinburg, TN. Driving up the mountain to get to the cabin was a bit scary for me at first. I’m not use to driving on winding roads but the location, the view and the cabin was worth the drive. The scenery is amazing, breathtaking, the cabin is very clean and cozy it feels like home.
