About this house rental

Welcome to Black Eagle 21! If you're looking for the perfect family retreat, look no further than this luxurious "Black Eagle". This townhome is located in the heart of Big Sky Resort's Mountain Village at the very base of Big Sky Resort. With the large windows and amazing views, this townhome will become a family favorite for summer trips and ski vacations! The townhome is walking distance from the base of Big Sky Resort where there are shops, restaurants, bars, and more.

This mountain modern townhome was professionally decorated by the area's best and is an ideal summer getaway. The open floor plan on the main level allows you to gather with your family and closest friends, but the multiple levels create privacy and space.

Winter Ski Access: In most Black Eagle townhomes you have to exit out the garage and walk around the corner to access the Bear Back Poma lift, but not in this one. Just exit out the laundry/mudroom door on the second level and pop on the trail that runs right by the door!

In the summer, spend the day on the "beach" at nearby Lake Levinsky or take part in the activities offered by Big Sky Resort Basecamp. In the evening, wind down with a soak in your private hot tub with amazing views of the Spanish Peaks Mountain Range. The chef in your family can also prepare the perfect summer feast on the outdoor grill while gazing at picture-perfect Lone Peak. When the sun goes down and things move inside, it's time to challenge your family and friends to a game of shuffleboard on the sand-less shuffleboard table!

*** Neighborhood currently undergoing minor construction at a reasonable distance. While the construction should not significantly impact your stay, we want to provide you with an honest representation of the ongoing developments in the area. Your comfort and satisfaction remain our priorities.***

Additional Notes
We are a local property management company. So if there is anything you need before, during, or after your trip, please let us know!

This home does not have air conditioning.

Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.

Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport

In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4 wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

We had several things we weren’t thrilled about but we didn’t call and complain about any of them except for the trash not getting picked up. There was a week's worth of someone else’s trash overflowing the can in the garage. The book said someone would be by to handle the trash late Sunday night or early Monday morning. It did not say to take it to the street. When the trash was still there at noon on Monday I called to ask what to do. The woman I spoke to about that was annoyed and basically rude. But it did get picked up later that afternoon. Our complaints were: 1. When we arrived there was a 6 foot long icicle hanging down from the deck above the driveway. We had to knock it down, so it didn’t hit our car. 2.) There was ice all over there driveway as well and one of our party slipped and fell. Both things were very dangerous. I think all the ice might have been from the hot tub repair. The hot tub was on the deck above the drive way. 3.) There were dirty towels in one of the bathrooms when we arrived. 4.) There were several holes in the comforter on the bed in the upstairs master bedroom, and a couple in the downstairs master as well...Like someone's dog had chewed it.

The property was beautiful, the property managers were responsive with anything we needed, the location is perfect for young kids to walk to the mountain. The price was less than booking through other vacation rentals in the exact same location, and the check out was extremely easy compared to who we rented with last time. Less money out of our pocket, less work on our part, and an overall amazing family vacation! Thank you Two Pines Properties

This condo was very spacious and had a well stocked kitchen. The kitchen was huge and had every appliance you can think of. So if you plan on cooking all week, this is the place for you. It accommodated 4 couples very well with the layout. The only odd thing was that the two bedrooms upstairs had a jack and jill bathroom. So there were two toilets and vanities but the shower was shared in-between and it was open over the ceiling. Luckily we were very good friends that it was fine. Just different. We were very happy with this condo.

Amazing location. I wish they put the bunk beds upstairs to allocate more kids/adults upstairs. Otherwise amazing house, and again you can’t beat the location.
