The cabin's unbeatable location offers a quintessential spot for a large group fly fishing, skiing, hiking, golf, river rafting, or just a girl's weekend away.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the cabin for 8 incredible days, and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this home was designed with guests’ comfort and enjoyment in mind.
This cabin style home is perfectly situated, offering a serene escape while still being conveniently close to local attractions. Whether we wanted to explore Yellowstone National Park or enjoy a day at the river, everything was within easy reach. The neighborhood itself is peaceful and charming, making it a fantastic spot for relaxation.
Besides the sliding door that didn't lock, the home was spotless and beautifully maintained (they had a bar to keep the sliding door locked). Each bedroom was thoughtfully decorated, comfortable, and provided ample privacy.
Amenities: This home truly had it all. The kitchen was fully equipped with high-quality appliances and all the cookware we needed to prepare meals, making it easy to enjoy home-cooked dinners. The living area featured a large, flat-screen TV with a great selection of streaming options, perfect for family movie nights. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a lovely patio area and a working hot tub. We loved sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the scenic mountain backyard view.

Our third year in the compound. So pleasurable and relaxing. Our host/owner Vivian had the place spotless. Looking forward to next year!

The house is conveniently located near everything that you want to check out: Yellowstone, Madison River, Big Sky, Bozeman, etc. Bonus is that you are on the Gallatin River which makes for a very relaxing setting. Not that you want to speed too much time in the cabin, but the cabin is very comfortable and provides all of the amenities needed. This cabin is especially good for families with children as there are plenty of board games and entertainment areas for the kids to unwind after the days activities. Would highly recommend it for families or just a group of friends. Looking forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed the property. Location was perfect for our group. House and kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend. One tip.. open windows at night and close in the morning as well as the shades. It helps keep house cool.

Perfect house for our family of 10. We had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well supplied. The beds were comfortable. The decor was very Montana which was fun. Our favorite place was time on the deck & in the hot tub. The views were so beautiful with the river & mountains combined. A few days the bugs were bad but being in the mountains to be expected. Fun times whitewater rafting, swimming in the river at the green trestle bridge including jumping off the bridge, a day in Yellowstone, the Riverhouse restaurant, the local rodeo…an amazing week we will all cherish forever!

This was everything the listing described and more! The location is close to anything and everything we wanted to do, including booking a luxury tour to Yellowstone for the day. The house was a great set up to spend time on the porch and fires at night together, yet plenty of space to spread out. The beds were also very comfortable. We will definitely return!

We had a hiccup with check-in which created some stress but was resolved by VRBO.
Peaceful property on a great river for fishing. We also had a bald eagle land on a tree right across the river from the house.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

The hot tub was broken for the entire five night stay. While a partial refund was given, there is a clause in the rental agreement that removes any obligation to give a refund for a broken hot tub. If I had recognized that clause I might have chosen another place.
If the hot tub was working this would be a 5 star house. I know that hot tubs break on occasion, and this might have been unavoidable. That being said, I dont think the owner gave us the refund commensurate with a broken hot tub.

This property was a great fit for our group of five guys looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay during our ski week at Big Sky. The views of the Gallatin River are unmatched. Bring your binoculars. We were able to see elk, moose, big horn sheep, and even a wolf during our stay. The five bedrooms and four bathrooms were a great fit and everyone in our party had plenty of private space while still being able to gather comfortably in the living room and kitchen for meals. The property was well stocked, clean, and well located. Vivian, our host, was super easy to work with and very responsive when we had questions. She was also helpful in guiding us to ski rentals, restaurants, and a grocery store. As a ski group we are already planning a return visit to Big Sky and individually a few members of our party are contemplating a return visit to this property to enjoy hiking in the Gallatin Valley and Yellowstone during the summer.

Fabulous location right on the Gallatin River.
Spectacular Views with great activities being on the river--fishing, rafting, tubing were just outside your door.
Short drive to Big Sky shopping and only 1 hour to Yellowstone National Park.
Handsome large log cabin architecture, very comfortably furnished, kitchen well stocked.
Our 2nd time to the location and community of 8 homes.
Will book again!

Beautiful home on Gallitin River/ easy river access. Communication with owner was excellent; she provided many helpful hints of things to do. Blue Moon Bakery pizza and Lotus were excellent restaurants. Kitchen small but well stocked with gorgeous river views. Bedrooms small but clean and comfortable. Loft AC kept room comfortable. No window shades to east so children awoke early. Good access to Big Sky (10 minutes) and Yellowstone (50 minutes to entrance). Would definitely return!

The five adults and four children in our group really enjoyed our stay. Just beautiful!! Our location was perfect, an hour from Bozeman and from West Yellowstone. Just a few minutes from Big Sky. The house is very clean and spacious with room enough for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. It was great seeing the kids play in the river, as cold as it was. The hot tub was wonderful. Lots of board games were available. Communication with our host was great. I would highly recommend staying here. Everyone in our group would love to come back. It was a perfect vacation for our family!

The house is outstanding and a great location. The size of the house looks deceiving from the outside but has plenty of well designed space as per the listing. The only issue was the basement floor, which has two of the bedrooms, smells incredibly musty and moldy. Could not get rid of the odor so less than ideal for those of the family that stayed in those rooms.

We had a great time at the cabin. The location is great as it was a great home base between some activities in Bozeman and heading into Yellowstone. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable for our group. The property mgmt was very responsive with our hot tub questions and were quick to get the hot tub company out to address the issues. Thanks for a great stay!

We skied 5 days at big sky, loved being able to come back, sit in the hot tub, make a big dinner and get really good sleep! Boys loved exploring the river area.

This place was perfect for our ski trip with 12 adults. The size allowed for us all to gather together when we wanted and also have our own space if needed. We used the hot tub almost every night, and I cannot possibly describe the beauty of the clear Montana sky from that hot tub. Overall, the place was just as advertised with incredible views, comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen, and even a surprise delivery of fresh firewood after the first few nights. The property manager was responsive to any and all communication throughout the week. The only thing to note is that cell service in the area is basically nonexistent (at least for Verizon) so I highly recommend you make sure you have your check-in code for the house before you get to the front door. That said, the Wi-Fi was strong enough to support 12+ devices throughout the week. I would definitely stay here again!

This was by far our favorite vacation rental ever! The property and the cabin were amazing. It was so clean, cozy, and fun. The host has thought of everything and provided all you need for a perfect weeks stay in the mountains. It was a perfect location to enjoy all that Bozeman, Big sky, and west Yellowstone has to offer. We cannot wait to go back again!

The house was perfect for the four of us but would have comfortably fit eight more. The hot tub was so relaxing after long days of skiing. It took us 10 to 15 minutes to get to the mountain and it took us 10 to 15 minutes to get to the mountain.

We arrived at cabin at 4:05 pm. A lady with two children had just pulled in at the same time. She said she was the property manager and needed to clean the jacuzzi. She stayed until 5:15. We had driven for days and wanted to relax. Her children were at the river access so we couldn’t go down there. She stayed on the back porch, so we couldn’t sit and relax.
Lights were out in the kitchen, the dining room and the master bath. Absolutely no toilet paper in master bath. Partial roll toilet paper in other baths. The front bedroom, wreaked of sulphur the down stairs had a mildew/mold smell. The downstairs toilet overflowed while we were at Yellowstone. We came back to flooded bathroom, hallway and partial game room.
On our 3rd day, water was shut off for over two hours. We tried calling the property manager, Kristen, no answer. We tried the emergency number for her, no answer.
A load of towels was in the dryer, I folded them, put them away under sinks to discover, the master bathroom sink is leaking and all towels beneath it were soaking wet.
A different property manager was at the cabin next door with a cleaning lady. She tried to make several phone calls for us. Bless her heart, she did find out about the water being shut off when we couldn’t get anyone else to help us find out what was going on.
I took pictures I can send of the amount of dust covering mirrors and walls. The amount of grime behind the faucets in the bath, the tooth paste on the walls….
Don’t get me wrong, the view is magnificent but I feel like we left the cabin cleaner than when we arrived. We made memories which is the most important thing but if you are paying a cleaning service, I strongly suggest hiring a new one.
The amount of money we spent for this stay, I feel like the upkeep and general maintenance should have been better.

A river runs through it…literally! What a great location with the Gallatin River steps away off the back porch. Property was clean and as advertised. An hour drive to West Yellowstone entrance to the national park but it’s a beautiful drive. Porcupine Trail is on the other side of the river. Great local amenities with hiking/fishing/ATV rentals (which was a great excursion with Summit ATV rentals just a couple of miles down the road). Restaurants nearby if you don’t want to cook. Property manager was very responsive. A thoroughly enjoyable week!

Hopefully I’m able to get all of my money back! Not sure why I’m receiving this message because I didn’t even stay at this property. In fact I ask my bank to dispute my deposits due to the property owner not willing to work with me on rescheduling my dates! I ask Vivian repeatedly to reschedule my dates for another time due to a massive flooding at Yellowstone national park. Vivian was going to get my payments, we just needed our dates rescheduled. Not sure why she wasn’t willing to work with me

We were in town for a family wedding. We tried to pick a location everyone would enjoy. We really struck gold! We loved the house it was perfect for us. The beds were all very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. We sat out on the deck every morning and evening. We enjoyed the area with horseback riding, whitewater rafting and beautiful hiking trails all nearby. Wish we could go back every year!

My husband, kids and mom stayed here for 5 nights. It was just what we needed! Sitting in the deck by the river or soaking in the hot tub while under a star-filled sky took away all our stresses. The house was clean and was in close proximity of Yellowstone, where we spent most of our time. I would definitelly come back in the future!

Would absolutely stay again. Have to account for the long daylight hours in Montana when thinking of where young ones sleep. Truly beautiful and relaxing. Kitchen had every appliance needed.

Beautiful setting on the Gallatin River
This property was perfect for my family of nine adults ranging from 59-16 years old. First of all the views were awesome. We enjoyed looking out the windows at the river and the mountains and wildlife. It slept nine adults and two under two perfectly. Everyone had their own comfortable space and the common areas were great also. My 16 year old loved schooling his older brothers at Fuzzball upstairs! The hot tub was fun and the first night a red fox came up to check out the festivities. It is on the way to Yellowstone and fly fishing in West Yellowstone but be warned that it is a 50 minute drive. Of course the drive is beautiful though ! It is a short drive to several local grocery stores that are a little more expensive so I suggest getting foot in Bozeman to save on food cost. We didn’t do that and really liked the Country Market. You have everything you need to cook at home which was a good thing with 11 people and it being sort of the off season.
I suggest you read the rules out loud the first night to the whole party. We South Texans didn’t think about putting trash outside and attracting bears! And if you have really active or impulsive kids the stairs could be a problem. They go up and down and we had to have a few battles with the almost 2 year old until she understood they were off limits.
Great place to relax, jump off to fly fishing and Yellowstone adventures and local hikes.

Absolutely heaven by the River
This place could not have been more perfect. Plenty of space, clean, kitchen well stocked, hot tub was clean and plenty of towels. 45 minutes from Yellowstone and minutes from whitewater rafters, fly fishing, great restaurants and tons of hiking. Don’t buy coffee filters as there are plenty. When on WIFI our phones/computers worked great otherwise be ready to unplug. Fire place and hot tub were a huge bonus! Three families stayed and had plenty of room. This, by far, was the nicest, cleanest and most Serene place I have ever stayed. Will book again if in Big Sky.

Big sky ski vacation
Good location, only 15-20 minutes from big sky. Beautiful view of the river. Pretty close to neighboring cabins but noise level and privacy was pretty good. Grill functions well, oven very finicky, but we were able to cook meals. Very poor lighting of common space in the evening- several lights needing replacement and overhead light was out. Hot tub was clean and functioned well and was nice to enjoy after skiing. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this place for families enjoying big sky.

Great place! Lot's of space for different activities in the group.
House is well laid out with three floors, lots of activities for kids and adults although butterfly puzzle is missing 5 pieces! Kitchen is workable to feed seven adults and two teenagers. Only problem was I did not receive the door entry code and took two hours to enter the house after calling VRBO support. No cell service with Verizon at the house which made contact more challenging.

Great house and accommodated our group perfectly.
We enjoyed the house and all its amenities. Especially, the stocked kitchen. My sister and I love to cook so it was nice to have all the spices and other cooking necessities. Hot tub was clean and hot so that was a plus. We each got our own bathroom and bedroom so that is the main reason why we booked. Location was good for skiing and a snowmobile visit to Yellowstone.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very close to the slopes. River behind us was great. The rip roaring fireplace was worth a million bucks. Highly recommend this property

Great Location with Beautiful Views
Large group staying for a ski week. It was a great place for location and views. The kitchen is alittle on the small side for large parties, also the oven/stove top doesn’t seem to get very hot so we had to cook things for much longer than usual. They did provide a plug in skillet which we used for eggs every morning as the stove top took very long to heat up. Other than the kitchen the place was great! Would stay again.

Perfect cabin on the river!
The place is beautiful - wood fireplace and tons of firewood, right out on the Gallatin river. Hot rob was heated and ready for us when we got there and the property manager was so quick to respond and help if anything came up. Will definitely back - highly recommend!
