The riverside is for outside meals, coffee, reading, and solitude.

Rick and Cheryl are amazing hosts. We had such an amazing time staying here. Great location for quick access to RMNP and the heart of Estes Park is within short walking distance.

Charming, well appointed cabin/cottage. We loved how close it was to downtown Estes Park. Enjoyed the real wood fireplace. While small it more than met the needs for my wife and I.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Reflection cabin! It was a quick walk downtown to shopping and restaurants and less than a 10 minute drive to RMNP. The cabin itself was adorable, super clean and super cozy but still roomy. Our favorite part was the wood burning stove which we used every night to heat the cabin. It was also super sweet that the hosts check you in and make sure you are comfortable for your stay, I never experienced that before and it was nice to know the ins and outs explained to us rather than guessing. Overall, this place may be my favorite rental I ever stayed at and I highly recommend it!

The reflection cabin was a great place to stay for our long weekend in Estes. Very convenient location to RMNP (less than 10 minutes to the gate) and walking distance to Estes. The cabin was cute as ever and had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here!

Cheryl was a very accommodating host and met us when we arrived. She thoroughly explained everything and was very gracious. This cabin was very charming and we loved it. The only thing we didn’t like was hearing traffic race by at night and early morning. We were shocked when we measured that the road was only a couple of steps from the front of the cabin, which was probably approximately 6 feet or less. I want to stress again that the cabin was fine but we had no idea that the road was less than 6 feet away and we would hear traffic all night long and in the early morning. A car could easily run into the side of the cabin and cause extreme damage and we felt unsafe.

This was the coziest cabin for a couple's weekend. It was beautifuly decorated but kept a lot of the old character. All finishings were modern and comfortable and the location to the creek and downtown were huge benefits while we were there. Cheryl was a lovely and accommodating host. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family.

Perfect little getaway cabin
My son and I had a chance to get away and do some exploring in RMNP, and we lucked out by finding Reflection Cabin for our stay. We loved everything about it - the coziness, the quaint little kitchen with everything we needed, the fresh mountain breeze, and the sound of the river across the street. We loved watching Netflix with a fire each evening after long days of hiking, and also loved how close it was to walk or drive into town for food/shopping/etc. Rick and Cheryl were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Mountain Getaway!
The Reflection Cabin was PERFECT for our anniversary trip! Super cute, and cozy, with every amenity necessary to enjoy our stay. Cheryl and Rick were perfect hosts! They accommodated every request prior to arrival, and were easily reached and prompt in responding to questions throughout our stay. Rick recommended several great trails to hike in RMNP. "Rick was right," the Black Lake hike was beautiful! I highly recommend This Mountain Life, and look forward to staying with them next time my wife and I come to Estes Park!

Our stay at Cheryl and Rick’s cabin was perfect! It was very clean and well-appointed. The location was great - not right in the middle of town but close enough to walk. It was also just a short drive to RMNP. Add to that how warm and inviting both Rick and Cheryl were, and we could not have asked for a better spot!
