Well kept and appointed. Location was quite close to our objective, Sequoia National Park and to other places, including shopping, swimming and restaurants.
Host was outstanding. Kept us informed of all we needed to know on a timely basis.

The house was very nice. We did have a mouse visit, but Mark came out right away to set a trap. We also had an infestation of ants in the kitchen. Mark came out to spray right away, and scheduled someone to professionally spray, as well. Mark was very responsive to our needs, and overall, we had a lovely stay.

The property owner went out of his way to help retrieve my husbands watch he left behind. Also, the property itself was exactly as described and in a perfect location for accessing the National park. Would definitely recommend this property.

Loved the Quails Nest. Great location just outside the entrance to Sequoia NP. As much as we loved going into the park and hiking, we loved coming back to the Quails Nest and enjoying drinks on the deck watching beautiful sunsets. The house was well equipped, clean, and communication with Mark was easy. Nice attention to the small things: snacks, wine, maps, and recommendations. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I booked the Quails nest for a winter get away to explore Sequoia National Park. I received a call from Mark the day before letting me know there was a main water break and the property would be with out water. He offered multiple properties that were comparable to the one I originally booked and assured me we would have a place to stay. He was quick to find a solution and was honest about the situation. Changing properties was easy and seamless. He communicated throughout the process and I felt taken care of. The home was clean and had beautiful morning views for coffee with the family. Its location to the park entrance was a major bonus. Close enough to be convenient but tucked away enough to feel like you had privacy.

The cottage has a cozy feel and even though there other houses around, you still feel like you're in your own space. The most amazing thing about this house is the view. We would sit outside for a couple hours in the afternoon to take in the view and watch the sunset.

Check in was easy and location would have been excellent IF Sequoia NP was not closed due to snow. We were able to see Kings Canyon but the drive was almost 2 hours. Great views from the porch

We reveled in the quiet and peaceful serenity of the Quail's Nest. The house was beautiful, quaint and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our family getaway. The kids enjoyed exploring the outdoors, we loved cooking in the kitchen and the easy access to Sequoia. After visiting the park, we relaxed in the house with movie and game nights, star gazing and disconnecting from our phones and laptops! We were even able take advantage of the grill and the washing machine while we were there. Mark has created a warm and welcoming environment - communication before arrival and the check in process could not have been easier. He provided tips on where to eat and shop nearby (the Pizza Factory was hit with everyone). The local folks were very friendly and we had fun exploring the the village area. As we were leaving, the kids asked if we could go ahead and book our stay for next year. I think it's safe to say they liked it here, a lot. And so did we. We would definitely come back.

We were six girls enjoying our vacation. Probably one of the best stays and the most gorgeous location. It felt pretty safe and cozy. Mark was very proactive and responsive. The house was super clean and there were nice snacks and goodies kept for our welcome. Loved the overall stay and experience. The view from the patio is to die for. Gorgeous!!! Would highly highly recommend.

This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. It was so clean and you can tell that a lot of thought was put into making it comfortable for guests. The views are incredible. We even had a deer stroll by in the morning. The kitchen is well equipped. A great place to stay for a visit to sequoia.

The Breakfast Club
My girls had a blast watching the quail families hunt for their breakfast each morning in the yard, and at night we got the most amazing view of the stars. The property was neat and clean, and the location was great for visiting the national parks.

This house is amazing. well kept, amazing view and great location! The owners are meticulous with little touches to make the stay feel special. Our vacation included 10 days across 5 locations in California and this house sets the bar very high for any other accommodations. Our next trip to California will now revolve around this house and the local area, which will guarantee a great vacation!

Fantastic property
This place was perfect! The location was quiet and scenic. The porch and side patio were a great place to hang out after a great day in the park. Kitchen had everything needed to cook all our meals. Dining room table and living room were plenty spacious to hang out, eat dinner, and watch a movie. Big grill on back patio, dining table outside too. We will for sure stay here again. Owner was easy to reach if needed.
