Location was fabulous!
Property was dirty. Smelly garbage right by cabin, cobwebs all over. Cabin was just dirty

Location, staff, restaurant and menu.
rooms are a little too cosy, but still comfortable for our needs.

Situation good. Staff very friendly
Food was good quality but was never hot enough. Cold potatoes on breakfast. Soup lukewarm etc. Room was fine but water power for taps and shower very poor. Poor choice of beer on tap unlike everywhere else in the area. Sunday was a champagne breakfast for $29 each! No other choice. No good if you are driving

The view from our cabin patio was extraordinary. Rushing water over granite was just a few feet away. The staff was amazing and we felt welcome from the beginning of our stay till the end.
The cabin was very small, and the bed took up most of the floor space. Dinner was expensive for such small serving sizes and they did not refill our bread. There was no remote provided for the electric fireplace/heater and it was the main source of heat in the cabin.

location is great
I had a terrible experience on this trip. Upon arrival, it took me over 30 minutes to find a parking spot near the location. Upon check-in, I discovered a large gap between the window blinds in my room, which allowed people walking by in the parking lot and hallway to see into my room (especially night). When I asked the owner to either switch rooms or address the issue, I was met with a rude response of "go away! you are the only one complaining about it."
Please take your customer feedback into consideration, I am not the only one who has mentioned the issue of the window blind gap in their reviews on the booking site.
Based on my experience, I DO NOT recommend this establishment

It's good just that the accommodation is near the entrance Sequoia National Park
The room is like the bed is not cleaned, the blanket, the sheets are only dog hair, and the blanket is very smelly.

Location is unbeatable and the restaurant has a large menu with many great things to eat, all prepared very well. Rooms have TV with full channel lineup. Staff is very friendly and has a great family atmosphere.
Rooms were a bit small but that is really fishing for something to “not like” as there was plenty of room.

Friendly staff and great facilities. Fantastic location for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon.

We didn’t have breakfast but we had it for lunch and dinner. Food at the restaurant was amazing.

The check in was a breeze, the location was great, just outside the park and the food was very good.
The sheets were damp getting into bed since the heat was turned off and the shower needs a good cleaning of the very dark grout.

Steak in restaurant was very tasty, restaurant staff friendly and river view very good
Rooms very dated and in need of major overhaul.
Multiple issues:
Dirty room - my wife had to clean dirt and dust in many places. The drawers for instance had so much dirt my wife’s white dress would have been ruined.
Water pressure very low - I could pee stronger than that.
No sockets to power my phone charger or my computer.
Night light that wouldn’t switch off. And there was more.
We booked for two nights but stayed only one. When I advised receptionist we were leaving early due to many areas of dissatisfaction. She did not offer any apology or enquire what the issues were.
Sorry visitors , be warned.

The location right outside the enterance to Sequoia Ntional Park is why I booked a room there. Being so close gave us a whole day of sunlight in the park--in January! That made everything else worth it. The beds were okay. Bedding was good and warm enough. The pretend fireplace was nice and cozy feeling. There was a coffee maker and a fridge. The bathroom was mostly clean.
We arrived about 8:00pm Super Bowl Sunday and the Giants had lost. The staff was just "done"! So, we couldn't get any food because the resuraunt closed 30 minutes before posted 8:30 time, and the person checking us in also had spent the day waitressing. They were very tired and that's likely why they were unhelpful. The room was too small for the two queen size beds. Had to shuffle sideways between bed and wall to get into the bathroom. The beds both had a bit of sagging on one side of the mattresses.

The location is perfect for a day or two in Sequoia National Park, just outside the main (south) entrance. The lodge sits on a bluff overlooking the river, and our cabin featured a small back patio with chairs and a porch swing with views across the river to the surrounding peaks. The room itself was quaint, dated but homey and included everything we needed. The in-room sauna was a touch of luxury you just won't find anywhere else around here.
Check in / out seemed to be only through the restaurant and it's not clear what the accommodations are outside of their business hours. We wanted to get an early start to the day with a 7:30 am checkout and were fortunate to wave down someone vacuuming inside, but others may not be so lucky.
